Ya know, jot marinallia and rate them as they did something we liked or didn't. At least early on---until we get to know them better and the group gets smaller and easy for our minds to keep them all sorted out.

BUT, I would think that doesn't preclude me from having an opinion about this particuar mother and her EXTREMEMLY emotional behavior re her missing her family. It only serves to show her as being--at best--very weak and therefore highly likely to be given the boot by the others so she won't be "suffering the pangs" of separation any long. Ya just DO NOT want to give the others ANY kind of excuse to boot ya. However, AT WORSE, she comes off as being very irritating to some ppl w/ all the whining about missing her family. They are merely expressing their opinions about a player in a gameshow. YOU have the same right to express a differing opinion on the player. I just think ya "cross the line" of common civility when ya go and express opinions about not only the opinions of those ya disagree w/,,,,BUT, ya imply opinion about the ppl who differ w/ ya.....tsk, tsk, tsk. Small wonder there is so much strife in the world. Lighten up....this is just a show about weird ppl doing silly things in a nutty enviroment.....lol.

I think many--most have some knd of "faith and love for THEIR God".....they just feel that they would like to keep it PRIVATE and personal. There is NOT one thing at all wrong about having a realationship w/ your God....I persoally think it is best if ACTIONS do the "showing of it" rather than a lot of gradiose "talking about it".

I am a mom and can understand missing your kids. But hello this is year 8 of BB and how many other reality shows and other people can do it. It's great to have a sign to your kids. So keep doing the sign and if you need to talk about your kids go to the diary room. Even at that it becomes talking about her kids to what a rough life she has had. Alot of people have it has bad or worse then her! Geesh, she just has to go home and see her kid(s) and rest of her family if she misses them that much. and if she is using it as a stay tactic then she needs to shut up cause it is annoying

Here is the deal, if she has such separation anxiety about not being around her kid, then why go? You know from day 1 that it could be a long stretch of time isolated. Amber is just using the old ploy we have all seen on other reality shows, that I "deserve" the prize because I am a single mother? Come on people, its an act!!! Can you not see through that? I am quite sure Amber loves her kid and all that, but lets see, I can think of many ways to make money other than going on a reality show. She spent all last night crying about whatever, now she is bringing God into the equation? OK- I think God probably has a few more important things to do than ensure that Amber wins the big veto challenge. What's next, oh I got it some third cousin ten times removed will pass away, then she will be playing for him, or maybe she will reveal that she is playing to honor the Challenger astronauts, or the WW2 vets. She is a phony, probably a liar, see ya Amber!

No surprise to me that she's a single mom though because she seems like the type that early on in a relationship, when all you really have is great sex, she quickly becomes emotional and clingy. Still, no excuse for the dad not to be in the picture - he made his bed, etc. and absent physical abuse, drug addiction, or chronic philandering, should try to build (re-build) his relationship with Amber so the child can be raised in the optimal setting - a two-parent household.

A single mom trying to make it today is tough so it's easy to see where she comes from. And I like her freaky side - just because you're a mom doesn't mean you're dead!
