- 5urr3al5am, on 03/01/2008, -11/+1kinda dumb.. I mean.. whats the point?
- fuze44, on 03/01/2008, -6/+0very dumb.
- AddamXavier, on 03/01/2008, -6/+37anyone have the story behind it? photoshopped or is it a publicity shot or something?
- JanYpe, on 03/01/2008, -0/+35I'm pretty sure it was released a while ago as a publicity shot, with a bunch of hints about the next BSG season in it.
- Hermiod, on 03/01/2008, -11/+20Well obviously it is a photoshopped publicity photo - unless they cloned Tricia Helfer.
- JanYpe, on 03/01/2008, -0/+39We can only hope.
- ByteGuerilla, on 03/01/2008, -7/+1There's only one Tricia Helfer in the photo.
- scronide, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3There are two.
- anti_hax0r, on 03/01/2008, -2/+1not to mention the two Apollos

- LimeParrot, on 03/01/2008, -2/+45Is BSG any good? I like Lost and X-files and thought season 1 of Heroes was good. Would I like it?
- oxdeltaxo, on 03/01/2008, -0/+11You may like it, the dialog is closer to x-files than lost or heroes though.
- graphictype, on 03/01/2008, -1/+14I am unfortunately hooked on lost, x-files is awesome and from what i have tried not to watch of hereos (cause then it would be another show I'd have to see) i think it is good. BSG rocks. Can't wait for the new season and guess what, it will be over which is good considering shows like lost leave u hanging for 5 freaking seasons. lol
- meez, on 03/01/2008, -2/+134It really is one of the best shows on television, it suffers from the name though. A lot of people think "omg sci-fi", when really the action could take place on a US aircraft carrier with 90% of the dialog unchanged. The actual sci-fi elements used are not particularly alien at all, the physics are newtonian and the weapons are bullets and nukes
Season 4 starts airing in April, so you have a month to catch up! It's worth it!- FKnight, on 03/01/2008, -5/+3It would be awesome to see Maverick,Goose, Iceman, and Slider go up against a Cylon raider.
- anti_hax0r, on 03/01/2008, -3/+3no
- tfletch, on 03/01/2008, -11/+2This show is too corny for me =(
- TKardinal, on 03/01/2008, -1/+5CORNY? What the hell is corny about BSG???
- ShrimpCrackers, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4He's thinking the original 1970's BSG rather than the really dark remake.
- debuggercll, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1He means corny as in horny corn. We've all seen the websites about them. 2girls1corn
- maci01, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3To people who would like to catch up: start with the Battle Star Galactica Miniseries (Two 1 and a half hour episodes). Then move onto Season 1, Season 2, watch the Webisodes (The Resistance), watch the "movie" Razer, then watch Season 3.
- TKardinal, on 03/01/2008, -1/+5CORNY? What the hell is corny about BSG???
- TeatimeGrommit, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Well, interstellar space travel by instant jump isn't very newtonian, but otherwise yeah.
- FKnight, on 03/01/2008, -5/+3It would be awesome to see Maverick,Goose, Iceman, and Slider go up against a Cylon raider.
- innocentsinner, on 03/01/2008, -1/+5I'm a big Lost and X-Files fan, and absolutely love BSG. Sure, it suffers from filler episodes and some wtf moments, but doesn't have nearly the amount of plotholes as the previous two shows. The great, varied cast also makes this show. You'll undoubtedly have characters you love and characters you hate with a passion. Head to a bittorrent site and download the miniseries and first season :)
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -1/+2Lost has no plot holes if you've seen all 76 or 77 episodes out so far. BSG season 1 on dvd includes mini-series on disc 1, and is a series worth buying on dvd. Don't forget to watch BSG Razor after Season 3.
- Ihatenicks, on 03/01/2008, -10/+4Yeah.. you're right.
Lost doesn't have any plot holes.. you CAN'T have holes in a plot that the writers refuse to expain....and please don't troll back with "but I know what it's about, and it has been explained!" cos even the cast, crew and writers have said that they don't have a clue what's going on or where it's all going..
Lost is lame...
As for BSG, it started to believe it's own hype and introduced a whole bunch of stuff it turned out NO-ONE was interested in.. Razor and the webisodes were unabashed failures and the main plot veered off course so badly not even the mystical maps could get it back on course..... and every main character (near enough) being a friggin' cylon.. PU-LEEZ.. not to mention the fact that it's been off air for so long, that it's only the fanbois that actually remember what the hell actually happened.
BSG was really good to begin with but now it's just a car crash of a show with an uncertain and certainly unsatifying future.
- Ihatenicks, on 03/01/2008, -10/+4Yeah.. you're right.

- Hermiod, on 03/01/2008, -4/+94Without resorting to hyperbole, Battlestar Galactica is the best show on TV.
- Tyrghast, on 03/01/2008, -3/+28It is,without a doubt, the best show on television.
- Ihatenicks, on 03/01/2008, -10/+4Dugg down for being a parrot.
- worthone, on 03/01/2008, -2/+3Thanks for the info, I haven't watched TV for about half a year– and actually, still won't, because apparently Battlestar Galactica isn't aired here. Oh well, this is what torrents are for...
- ch33sehead, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1Depends on what you're looking for. If you just want straight up comedy, then I'd go with South Park. But for story/character development, then I'd second that BSG nomination.
- Tyrghast, on 03/01/2008, -3/+28It is,without a doubt, the best show on television.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Lost, BSG, and then Heroes are my favorite shows... BSG and LOST are my number 1 though... I can't say one is better than the other. I love X-Files, although I only own the alien storyline on dvd, the X-Files Mythologies or whatever.
- Xondar, on 03/01/2008, -1/+21Battlestar Galactica isn't any good.
No, it is AMAZING! - ramunenke, on 03/01/2008, -0/+14oh dear god yes. the best science fiction on tv. Unlike heroes who suffered from a throwaway second season and plot lines even from the first, BSG has great writing and acting all the way through.
- FKnight, on 03/01/2008, -8/+1Battlestar Galactica suffers from "plot twists for plot twists' sake instead of plot twists for a reason" syndrome.

- Mawds, on 03/01/2008, -0/+12I was fan of the original series and when I heard about this new series I wasn't sure about it. After about the first 10 minutes of watching this I was hooked. I actually don't think I can watch the original anymore. This is one of the best sci-fi series on TV, watch it.
"By your command"- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1The beings of light remind me of the final 5.
- Qunjiaofeiyang, on 03/01/2008, -0/+9Sounds interesting. But please help, should i watch the 2-part mini, then the series, then razor?
- meez, on 03/01/2008, -0/+11yes, then Season 4 when it begins to air in April
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Yeah 2 part mini-series is included with Season 1 dvd release as the first disc, make sure to get season 2.0 and 2.5, and then check out razor after season 3... Season 3 is on dvd in like 3 weeks.
- Qunjiaofeiyang, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3Great, thank you!
- ch33sehead, on 03/02/2008, -0/+2You could technically watch Razor midway through Season 2. Or after season 2, if you're not sure after which episode. You don't have to wait until you finish season 3.
- boombye, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1But it would help the ending make more sense, not to mention the extended one if he did view it after 3 as well.
- meez, on 03/01/2008, -0/+11yes, then Season 4 when it begins to air in April
- GIFF3, on 03/01/2008, -1/+3I found BSG surprisingly awesome. I thought it was a poorly writing and executed show before i watched any of it. Now I love it.
- LimeParrot, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Thx guys, definitely gonna check it out =)
- Amazetbm, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2As some one who is old enough to remember when the original shows I was completely prepared to hate this re-imaging. While I still have some nostalgic memories of the original, this version just completely blows it away. I'm hooked and you most likely will be too.
- BruceDude, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2It's ***** AWESOME!
- davidschuster, on 03/03/2008, -0/+1It's FRAKING AWESOME!
- 32bitwonder, on 03/01/2008, -8/+3You may like it. BSG contains blatant religious overtones which I personally find quite annoying, but no more than one encounters in every day life really....

- daxsymbiont, on 03/01/2008, -39/+3BG is another fest of militarist extremism and forced "balance" combined.
For example, on an episode, one becomes a Dictator of all humans that the viewers are pushed to like as "benevolent". Right on the next episode another Dictator is being shown as "evil" which is killed in the end.
You are not balanced like that. You are being *extremist* on both sides.
It's like being either with King Bush the 2nd or with Stalin. No other options.- JanYpe, on 03/01/2008, -2/+16Someone call the waaaahmbulance, quickly!
What a frakface. - boombye, on 03/01/2008, -2/+5Seems he doesn't get it. Poor guy. Should just stop watching it then.
- Ihatenicks, on 03/01/2008, -7/+0Yep, QFT Dax..
As far as I'm concerned all it is is an extention of American military imperialsm, set in space which when you boil it all down, is pretty irrelevent to the WAR ON TERROR.- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1Sometimes it incorporates not just parallels of America, but also Mussolini or even Napolean, but you wouldn't notice those because you're not bright.
- ecualung, on 03/01/2008, -2/+3There are references to the War on Terror, but in unexpected and thought-provoking ways. For example, for about 4 episodes of Season Three, the GOOD GUYS are essentially playing the role of the Iraqi insurgency or Palestinian resistance to Israel. It's rather scandalous...and GREAT TV
- dudeguy1234, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4Its called 'Social commentary'

Jesus ain't standing.- Tyrghast, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1I said it had them closest. Closest, coming from the word close, in this situation meaning 'not exact'.
- ch33sehead, on 03/02/2008, -0/+1As much as I like BSG, and even though I've never seen an episode of House, I'd say the House one is a bit more creative.
- unreg, on 03/01/2008, -1/+0Have you ever even seen the Last Supper portrait?
- scronide, on 03/01/2008, -1/+2True, it's over-used, but it has a much more solid connection to the story of Battlestar Galactica, a show already heavily cribbed off Mormonism.
- junaru, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1FAKE!, House would never operate on a dummy.

- alephsmith, on 03/01/2008, -1/+8And the same for The Sopranos:
- graphictype, on 03/01/2008, -9/+1The show is great. Gives a very hard real portrait of life choices, well not only if robot machines forced us to live on the verge of extinction, but for example when the cylons controlled them was suicide bombimg a moral resolution to the capture, or should those u love and command be sacrificed in the line of duty to utterly destroy your so called enemy?
Besides that it does have a lot of religion to it so my question is.....if # six is JC in the last supper why are there only 11 disciples when there where 12 unless judas has already left? (wouldnt't baltar be judas?)
And yes it is a promo pic for season 3....like i said religious...may the gods be with u. so say we all- Tyrghast, on 03/01/2008, -1/+2Lords of Kobol. not 'gods'. get your nerd terminology right!

- Xondar, on 03/01/2008, -0/+6Why don't you try watching the show instead of basing your views on a few out of context clips you saw? At the very least you could pick up the mini-series and if you can't get into it, don't bother with the rest.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1I watched a lot of Sci Fi growing up, BSG is unlike any of them and in cases is less Sci Fi than Lost or Heroes or even X-Files..Depends on the episode, but of course it's more like watching a show about the Navy or the Air Force, and deals more with controversial politics and moral choices.
- ElAssoWipo, on 03/01/2008, -6/+1It's crap but it's the new star trek. So you won't get too many diggs bashing it around here.

- ElAssoWipo, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1I watched it many times and I hate it. I think it's terrible. My wife and one of my two sons watch it and if I have absolutely nothing to do I'll watch it with them and then I'll curse at the screen because of the insult to my intelligence, the terrible acting, the retarded script and the ridiculous, ridiculous characters.

- Asianwaste, on 03/01/2008, -7/+1Mrs. Tigh: OBJECTION!!!!
- graphictype, on 03/01/2008, -4/+5btw probably put on here by the promo people
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -6/+2oops replied to wrong comment, bury me.
- Tyrghast, on 03/01/2008, -1/+3That looks like the set from the very first moment of the show, in the neutral station with the ambassador.
- Xondar, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1It looks like the viper launch bay to me.
- Tyrghast, on 03/01/2008, -3/+1definately not the viper launch bay.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -2/+1This is from the end of the season 1 mini-series, where they we're all saying "So say we all" after Adama's speech about knowing where Earth was.
- Xondar, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1Which is a viper launch bay...
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1yeah sorry i just woke up, and now i'm going to pop in the razor dvd i finally got back from a friend that's had it since the dvd first came out..kendra shaw is hot

- mrjit, on 03/01/2008, -1/+19God, I can't wait for this show to return.
- RAGEdemon, on 03/01/2008, -13/+0Anyone else notice a very white and blonde Gaius Baltar? He naturally has much darker hair and skin... like an Arab. Nice to see islamophobia setting into network TV decisions... I can just imagine it... "an Arab would give us lower ratings... make him look white!"
meh.- JanYpe, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4...Or he's sitting under a light.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+7Or maybe it's because Jamie Callus isn't Arab and never did look so on the show, and you forget the fact that they're all in make up for this photo, plus the lighting isn't the same as the lighting on the show which is darker Plus you're making a non-issue out of this, and need to adjust the settings on your tv set. If you ever owned an HD-DVD or DVD of BSG season 1 and on, you would know that he is not Arab and reminds people more of Desmond from Lost.
- RAGEdemon, on 03/01/2008, -6/+0I never said he was arab. I said he has darker skin and much darker hair than the average Caucasian, which is quite noticeabe. Noone else's tones look at all changed... why just him? Google Images James Callus. But hey, don't let a little thing like truth get in the way of your fanboyism... BSG can do no wrong, right? :-P
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4It's because of the lighting on the show, you should watch one of the behind the scenes features on the BSG Razor dvd that talked specifically about the look of the show. I never thought he resembled an Arab in any way, but that may be because I look like one sometimes when I don't shave lols

- octophobic, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4I hope you didn't sprain your ankle jumping to that conclusion. It was a bit of a stretch after all!
- kabes, on 03/01/2008, -4/+20Dugg for being the best show on television.
- BladeSinner, on 03/01/2008, -1/+15The same image can be found on the official BSG website

Definitely a promo piece, and not photoshopped.- scronide, on 03/01/2008, -0/+6Definitely a promo piece that happens to be photoshopped.
- centran, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Well that one fixed her more to the center so like the original the perspective lines point to her.... However, they still converge on her vajayjay! So I am not sure what that means.
- Spetz, on 03/01/2008, -1/+9BSG is awesome. So deep as well - great social commentary.
- Zihuatanejo, on 03/01/2008, -3/+4mmmmmmm....sacrelicious
- kinetix06, on 03/01/2008, -8/+0This really is old...
Here's a wallpaper I made out of it ages ago:
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/8054/bsgwallpaper ...- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+5Always wanted a 404 wallpaper. This is only about a month old at the most, which isn't old at all.
- kinetix06, on 03/01/2008, -1/+0My bad, end of the link got cut off
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/8054/bsgwallpaper ...
and it's at least two months old- rationalist, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2So, for you to think two months is "really old", you must be, what...six?
And I don't mean in leap years.

- Xocide, on 03/01/2008, -2/+4Amazing image, I love BSG.
- starlord1, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3Is it to much to draw specific comparisons between the positions and complimentary disciples in the original one ? Is she a Christ like saviour ? Is the dude holding the knife in the same place as the dude who cut the Roman's ear off in Gethsemane ? Is Baltar a Peter like figure (If I've remembered Peter's position correctly in the original)
Or am I reading WAY to much into this pretty cool picture. I only watched episodes from the first series, the last things I saw was them trying to rescue the arrow or Apollo on what I assume was earth ?- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20169703,00.html
That will help you understand this specific shot a little better, but could be a spoiler if you're that far behind.
Yeah they're also on those Arrow of Apollo episodes in HD on that channel UHD, hopefully they show another episode tonight at 7pm Central time zone... - centran, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2You think that is confusing... trace the perspective lines like you are supposed to do in the original.... That is just going to confuse you more ;)
Btw... it is more obvious at the official site as the moved her more center. http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20169703,00.html
- yohojones, on 03/01/2008, -1/+2Thanks for the new wallpaper.
- over900000, on 03/01/2008, -10/+1Where's Baltar????
- RAGEdemon, on 03/01/2008, -4/+0He is now very white and blonde. In the middle left. Hypocrisy... they've heard of it :P
- JanYpe, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4You are so full of crap.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -1/+1It's 9,000. Please try again.

- aberas, on 03/01/2008, -12/+0Oh MY God!! This is so offensive!! As a Christian, I'll start to collect signatures to close down!!
The will surely go down in flames!
/sarcasm- RAGEdemon, on 03/01/2008, -8/+0"The will surely go down in flames!"?
You arn't making sense. When trying to make an idiot of 1 billion people, it's probably wise to be extra careful to not make an idiot out of yourself first ;-)
Spanish inquisitions anyone? You know... where Christians killed and tortured people horribly or burned old ladies for "being witches"...
But you wouldn't know anything about that... would you? ;-)
Go tend to the pastor boy in your church. I hear he isn't being "touched" enough by the "hand of god" ;-P- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -1/+4Did you notice he said "/sarcasm"
I was brought up as a Christian, although I don't care much for religion anymore, but this is not offensive at all. It's based off of the work of Da Vinci, not the work of the Church.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -1/+4Did you notice he said "/sarcasm"
- RAGEdemon, on 03/01/2008, -8/+0"The will surely go down in flames!"?
- Locnar, on 03/01/2008, -0/+5From what heard, this picture hides clues to the end of the series.. Think I read that in a EW mag.
I do know there was someone that is clearly missing, and that is part of the clue..- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Gaeta or Dualla, whom are other main characters. Perhaps even Zarek who we haven't seen since he gave out his last orders to punish traitors by air lock.
- ebcoh, on 03/01/2008, -0/+0Zarek would make an interesting 5th cylon, although I think I remember them saying that we havent seen the 5th yet (anyone help me out?). It would be a way to throw a major bone to the old series.
- Krystof82, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1From what I read in a interview, nobody in the picture is the last cylon. So you can start guessing who is from clues in the series, an who is missing.
- cibbomatteo, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1I think it's Cally Tyrol... sweet... innocent...deadly
- JanYpe, on 03/02/2008, -0/+1The chief sure does pick 'em!
- Nick519, on 03/01/2008, -0/+5come on, lady mctigh! bring back tigh's wife as a cylon, and blow what's left of his mind AWAY.

- The3rdjj, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1They weren't hungry so they just sat or stood dramatically for an hour
- reddevil3, on 03/01/2008, -3/+7Anyone else find president Roslin to be really hot? I know there are a lot of hot women are on the show, but there's something about a mature, confident woman in a suit which I find appealing.
- deadi, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1She is a very attractive woman and a really good actress. If you recall, she was in Dances with Wolves and did a great job in that movie also.
- maci01, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2I hate how she's constantly smiling.
- SidiousX, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Also the first lady in Independence Day

- kds405, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2I heard...I read...that if you cut the image in half and reflect it in a mirror there's secret messages.
- timlopez, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4I heard and read this too- If you do this, Roslin is sitting on Cmdr Adama's lap, Anders is kissing 6's arm, and a few other crazy things.
I think the secret messages were totally placed there, because 6 isn't centered in the room- shes off to the left a little.
- timlopez, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4I heard and read this too- If you do this, Roslin is sitting on Cmdr Adama's lap, Anders is kissing 6's arm, and a few other crazy things.
- thatcrazycommie, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3I like how Tyrol is just staring at a knife.

I can't wait for season four.
- happycat, on 03/01/2008, -3/+2C'mon guys, this old pic was in EW a couple months ago. Anyone who is a BSG fan would know about it.

- DeePsix501, on 03/01/2008, -0/+6There is a lot of symbolism on the table, glasses half full and empty, books open and closed.
Who is the lady pointing on the left? Lucy Lawless?- Taciturn, on 03/01/2008, -0/+4Lucy Lawless has been boxed. She's another copy of Six.
- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+2Probably Tricia Helfer's new character Natalie pointing right at Helo and Athena who look worried.
- DeePsix501, on 03/01/2008, -1/+2I know she was boxed, but they said on the site that she will return and lead a new cylon movement.
- myusrnm, on 03/02/2008, -0/+1that's natalie.

- boombye, on 03/01/2008, -0/+3exactly
