- zoziw, on 09/01/2008, -2/+159Watching the entire BSG series will have been the best 10 years of TV watching in my life once it finally wraps up.
- inactive, on 09/02/2008, -0/+148Who started this whole "half of a season" *****? Sopranos used to do this, and Sex and the City...
IF IT DOESN'T RUN CONCURRENTLY, IT'S NOT THE SAME SEASON!!! - inactive, on 09/02/2008, -0/+113SciFi Channel is run by a bunch of motherfrakking, toaster-loving skin-jobs!
- Forbizzle, on 09/02/2008, -4/+94NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
- gubbie, on 09/02/2008, -0/+87A friend introduced me to BSG this summer and now I'm completely hooked. If you're not watching, you're seriously missing out.
- steakfry, on 09/02/2008, -1/+79The Sci-Fi chanel really seems to have its head up its ass... this looks like Farscape all over again.
- jakeinpro, on 09/02/2008, -0/+71Once Battlestar Galactica airs it's final episode (sometime within the next century at best) I will never have a reason to watch SciFi ever again.
- basye, on 09/02/2008, -0/+62What the frack are they thinking???
- fuzzmeister, on 09/02/2008, -0/+54Someone really needs to create a premium network in the vein of HBO exclusively dedicated to high-quality programming like BSG. I'd be more than willing to pay for BSG and shows like it, in exchange for having no ads and uninterrupted seasons.
- seantubridy, on 09/02/2008, -9/+54McCain is the final Cylon. And Bristol Palin's baby is the shape of things to come. Gods help us all.
- seldon452, on 09/02/2008, -0/+44I mean, obviously filming is delayed because Tigh and Roslin are running for president.
- ebcreasoner, on 09/02/2008, -0/+43So say we all!
- christhechris, on 09/01/2008, -1/+43DOOOOOOM!
- AmyVernon, on 09/02/2008, -1/+40This is frakkin' horrible news.
And I'm aware that that means I've lost all perspective on my pathetic life, thankyouverymuch. - jonlow67, on 09/02/2008, -0/+36And what of the Galactica prequel spinoff? 2012 I suppose?
- Jareth86, on 09/02/2008, -0/+35Sci-fi's negect of Battlestar is the least of their problems. In an age where geekiness and science fiction have become an underground culture (and a giant untapped demographic), where the hell is the sci-fi channel?! They should be jumping on this! There are so many sci-fi classics they could be making into miniseries and movies, but what do they give the viewers?
"Mansquito." Are you ***** Kidding me? - XMovieGodX, on 09/02/2008, -0/+33These guys are damn masters of the excessively long breaks.
Dirty, dirty bastards. - sjbdallas, on 09/02/2008, -0/+31In know, right?
I wish all shows were like 24. The whole season, one show after another, no breaks. - dungbeetle, on 09/02/2008, -0/+29They're too busy airing wrestling to give us decent sci-fi shows. Truly disgusting.
- StateTheObvious, on 09/02/2008, -0/+28Of course they delayed it. BSG is the best rated show SciFi has ever produced. They arent intelligent enough not to cancel it, but they are just smart enough to milk it for all its worth.
Bastards. - Darksoul, on 09/02/2008, -4/+32I think the person of charge of the sci-fi channel needs to be taken out and beaten then fired from their job seriously I don't get them any more what will they have left once Atlantis is gone and I am shure Eureka will be shortly behind it and with SG1 gone and Battlestar going off to I will see no reason to watch the channel and if that new show is any good I will just grab it some place else I don't think they can really call themselves the sci-fi channel any more all they are now is a channel for cheesy made for tv movies and wrestling.
- sockpuppets, on 09/02/2008, -0/+28Frack!
- Lilitou, on 09/02/2008, -0/+26Wait... had it been moved up at some point? Because April '09 was the date I'd heard back before the hiatus started. Now I'm confused. Should I be getting angry all over again?
...Oh, hell, why not?
Those *****. This is ***** ridiculous. And on top of that, they're still charging $50 for half-season DVD sets. Christ, I'm sick of this *****. - spdorsey, on 09/02/2008, -1/+27This is ***** *****.
Half a season, then half a season more a year later. I've just about had it. I doubt I'll get into "Caprica" if it ever makes it on the air. - bullhead2007, on 09/02/2008, -0/+23I'm starting to think Duke Nukem Forever will be out before they pull their heads out of their asses.
Really? A year and a ***** half for half of a season? At this point they should just give us a full 30 ***** episodes. - inactive, on 09/02/2008, -1/+23That sentence made me feel like I just ran a marathon.
- 9bpm9, on 09/02/2008, -1/+20If the idiots running NBC knew anything, they would steal this show from Sci-Fi.
I mean for christs sake, look at all of the sci-fi shows that are getting ratings all over network TV. Yeah it's not going to get CSI numbers, but what the hell else does NBC have to show? That's right, crap. - insomniac8400, on 09/02/2008, -0/+18HBO did it and every "series" in Britain is like 12 episodes. So I would guess they got the ball rolling. But I think other networks jumped on board when they realized they can sell a season of a show on dvd for the same price whether it has 12 episodes or 24 episodes.
- Scott.Lyles, on 09/02/2008, -0/+15
Sweeps
The Sci-Fi channel cares more about its advertisers than the viewers.
- b0rg, on 09/02/2008, -2/+17NOT ACCEPTABLE.
/starts crying in corner - Protoss, on 09/02/2008, -2/+17McCain reminds me of Tigh...
- thrillki1l, on 09/02/2008, -0/+13NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm gonna go crawl into the freezer. Someone thaw me out in april.
- scrotumbrau, on 09/02/2008, -5/+18That's it. I'm done. I refuse to watch the final episodes on TV. I will wait until they're done, download them commercial free and enjoy them all on my own time. I'm sick of being jerked around for freakin' years!
- groovespook, on 09/02/2008, -3/+15Damn it all to hell. LAME LAME LAME.
- inactive, on 09/02/2008, -2/+14Frell it, Im still bitter about Farscape.
- reboare, on 09/02/2008, -0/+12I'd pay too.
- FunkyChicken, on 09/02/2008, -0/+12You don't remember where you read it and you think it's been in the back of your head for months because YOU are the last freakin Cylon! Ya lousy babbling and confused skin-job.
I kid, I kid. :) - Kethinov, on 09/02/2008, -1/+13Sky One is planning to air it in November.
- boombye, on 09/02/2008, -0/+12Sci-Fi channel has run out of shows to air, all they have left is Stargate Atlantis and they won't be getting any new Doctor Who episodes for a while, since I heard it's taking a year off...If you think about it, they won't have anything to air in Spring besides Stargate or BSG. Sci-Fi wouldn't have problems getting more viewers if they stopped screwing around like this. Oh well, at least they're airing Charlie Jade here in America tonight at like 2 AM CST.
- Unimatrix0, on 09/02/2008, -1/+12I have always been ticked off about how they have shown half a season then made us wait months for the next half. Then the delay between the season grew longer and longer. After season 3 it was going to be over a year to get season 4 out and only half a season at that. At that point I said to hell with it. If you want me to watch your show, then show the damn show. I made the decision to wait until they get through screwing around and get it done then I will RENT, not buy the dvd's and watch the entire show start to finish. It is the best tv show ever made, but my life doesn't revolve around BSG and their timetable. And I certainly won't waste one second on Caprica if it makes it to a series, which I think it will tank judging from some of the early previews I have seen. And if it does make it, I will watch it when it comes out complete on dvd. And the Sci-Fi channel....they screwed this up so bad, I won't watch ANYTHING on that channel again.
- digitalmischief, on 09/02/2008, -1/+12dugg for the info... but i wasn't happy about it...
- seantubridy, on 09/02/2008, -1/+12Oh come on! It's been like 5 years now we've been waiting! Well, it feels like that at least.
- pnpbios, on 09/02/2008, -0/+10For real? Kickass. TPB will save the day again.
- TheInimitable, on 09/02/2008, -0/+10No, they don't.
And it's BEETS - 1badarsemuther, on 09/02/2008, -1/+11I'm still amazed that they haven't received on Emmey nomination in any of the major categories, but this blows and it seems like Farscape all over again.
- KingJeff, on 09/02/2008, -2/+12So say we all.
- Protoss, on 09/02/2008, -0/+10Source?
- PhoenixTril, on 09/02/2008, -2/+11ffs.
- Heywoodj, on 09/02/2008, -0/+9frackers..
Don't make me do this all night. - Kidddrunkadelic, on 09/02/2008, -1/+10FRAKKING THING SUCKS!!
