- chicagojack, on 11/17/2008, -2/+42Why are Battlestar girls so hot???
- asgardshill, on 11/18/2008, -0/+37What if the final Cylon really WAS the toaster in the Galactica's galley.
- AmyVernon, on 11/17/2008, -1/+25oh god, reading this just made me pine for January just so much more. I am so frakkin' excited to see the final episodes, it's actually a little frightening.
- monkzero, on 11/18/2008, -3/+25I think BSG is better than bears.
- dartmanx, on 11/18/2008, -0/+17*rant alert*
But you know... why should we have had to wait for January? The show has been wrapped since late Spring. This is ego, pure and simple.
I'm hoping that somehow the episodes leak to the torrents (like Razor did) as a giant middle finger to Ron Moore and the Sci Fi channel management. The attitude seems to be that WE owe them something, when we are the ones watching their show (and more to the point, the commercials). It's Farscape all over again. - dartmanx, on 11/18/2008, -0/+15Geek males (and, frankly, a fair percentage of geek females) like it that way.
- p1eiades, on 11/18/2008, -2/+15I miss BSG and Lost.
- aereaus, on 11/18/2008, -0/+11Finding out the final Cylon will be cool, but I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of "Earth". Man what a cliffhanger! Playing Fallout 3 now. LOL
- madaday, on 11/18/2008, -0/+9The final cylon was supposed to lead them to earth....and the viper did that..... hint hint
- bandola, on 11/18/2008, -0/+9My bet is on Tigh's and the Six's lovechild. When that baby is born there are 13 Cylon models. I'm not counting Hera or Tyrol's and Calli's baby since they are both half-human.
'"still in shadow" and "clawing toward redemption" yada-yada' could apply. - CoreyTamas, on 11/17/2008, -3/+12Not clicking that.
- Finalreminder, on 11/18/2008, -2/+9America has such huuuuuuuuuuuuge breaks in between seasons or mid-season breaks that they're in danger of losing viewers. Heroes and BSG seem to have taken forever, I lost interest in Heroes simply because the break got me off the hook.
- mac888, on 11/17/2008, -7/+14My daughter's gymnastics coach looks and has attitude out the wazoo like starbuck.
- HastyBoom, on 11/18/2008, -1/+7It's just a pic of #4. What am I missing?
EDIT: Oh i found it. Why does this link to the comments and not the actual article? - nicc, on 11/18/2008, -0/+6it CANT be Starbuck as she is in the "final supper" pic and Ron Moore has said the final cylon is NOT in that pic.
- ShopAisle19, on 11/17/2008, -1/+7Sweet digg!!

... - WarnerK, on 11/18/2008, -0/+5Hot and flexible with an attitude begging for some angry sex? Do want.
- super_spyder, on 11/18/2008, -2/+7no ugly chicks allowed in space, duh.
- godphase3, on 11/18/2008, -1/+6Where does it rate compared to beets?
- mooninite, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4Which, in turn, are douchebags at Universal, which in turn are douchebags at NBC, which, in turn are douchebags at GE.
- beerhuffer, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4***** writers strike
- dingedarmor, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4These are not the cylons you seek....
- digghasnoethics, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4I'd bet on the last Cylon being the Galactica itself - a nice misdirection that would have the conoscenti kicking themselves for weeks.
- oneoverzero, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4I would regain some respect for the show.
As I can't respect anything that can't laugh at itself. - desqjockey, on 11/18/2008, -1/+5spoiler: its maybe one of several minor characters you havent heard of unless you are dork^3. Possibly.
- CylonsOfTheLamb, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4You mean the one that Lee Adama blew up when he crashed it into the Cylon ships? I believe that was the Pegasus.
- ifire, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4God damnit. Why do I have to be in basic training while the final episodes are airing?! I just ***** know that one of my smart-assed friends is going to send a letter laden with spoilers.
- magusg, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4Pics or it didn't happen.
- eclectro, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4Interesting, but this submission tells me nothing.
- superbeefy, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3DAMN IT! I was just starting to live a happy life since I forgot there were no new episodes of BSG coming soon. Now you made me remember. Thank digg.
- scoottie, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3this half season crap is annoying as hell and i hope it dies with BSG
- snoogit, on 11/18/2008, -1/+46 year olds dude.
- NeoCortex, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3Well, the have to make room for all the wrestling afterall.
- synik, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4I'd much rather have a boomer, personally.
- gquaglia, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3Nope, douchebags at SciFi channel.
- snoogit, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3So they just have to find Megaton, and blow it the hell up.
- doiveo, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4double digg.
- Spetz, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3Interesting. The music to activate the final four cylons also apparently 'comes from the ship'.
- CylonsOfTheLamb, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3This is a fairly recent development with tv shows in the U.S. There are only a handful of shows trying to pull this crap on viewers, and unfortunately, they're some of the best shows on tv. BSG, Lost, 24. I think it kinda started with The Sopranos. I'm not really sure what the mind game is they're trying to play on the viewers by doing it, but the long hiatus in between seasons makes me indifferent when the new season starts up.
If they want to take a year off in between seasons, that's fine, more power to them. But they shouldn't expect me to sit around doing nothing but agonizing over the delay until the next episode is aired. - coffeerox, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2Been over this many times. I believe the final Cylon to be either Ellen Tigh or Starbuck. Ellen, because the circumstances behind her arrival in the fleet is still mysterious, and she may have come from anywhere. Starbuck, because she had actually been eye-scanned in the mini-series, she sat there dumbfounded and destroyed the Raider before it had a chance to broadcast the signal. If we are to believe D'Anna that the fifth isn't even in the fleet, then Ellen is even more of a possibility. She was left behind on New Caprica after all, and whose to say that there wasn't a resurrection facility there?
- EtherealFusion, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2I think Cally and Ellen Tigh were killed off to provide an emotional backdrop to Saul and Tyrol's transition as two of the final five. I don't think bringing either of them back would impact the story enough to make the last ten episodes worth it.
Also, the writer of this article assumes that what Ron D. Moore said about the picture is true; it's very possible that he was lying just to throw off fans. Regardless, the author of this article never mentions Romo Lampkin, who has played a huge role in the last ten episodes.
I'm still interested in knowing how Starbuck came back from the dead in a brand new ship that knew the way to earth as well. I've heard speculation that that viper could be the final Cylon, and that's a lot more believable--and interesting--than a lot of the characters the writer of this article mentions. - mackii, on 11/18/2008, -2/+4My money is on Sauls wife
- gquaglia, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2That's the SciFi channel trying to capitalize on one of the few hit shows they have left. Once BSG is gone, they will have nothing to offer and they know that. The new SG show is in the works, but who know how that will be. Dr Who won't be coming back for a while and Sanctuary suck ass.
- InfernoX, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2Blame SciFi.
- vurdillac, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2It would have to be someone important enough to be interesting - so I'm betting on one of the dead ones. For dramatic purposes that would probably mean either Ellen Tigh (to resolve Saul's guilt and provide a tearful reunification scene) or Admiral Cain, to resolve the Razor story (which so far just seems to be a forgotten one-off).
- bandola, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2Tigh and the other "new cylons" are greatly different from the 9 "clone models", we know this already. Tigh was a soldier in the previous cylon war decades ago, long before the cylons could produce skin jobs. It may very well be that these cylons (Tigh, Tyrol, Anders, the chick) can reproduce.
- JakeBlues, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2I'm not going to read the article because I don't want to know. That said, I'm fully prepared for the reveal to be anti-climatic.
- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2It's been so long I can't even remember what happened in the last few episodes... :(
