- fluidfoundation, on 10/10/2007, -0/+65Oh Hayden... please dont go down the route of Brittney and Lindsey....
- unearth, on 10/19/2007, -0/+41For those of you who don't know, Ari Larter's power in the show is the inability to fully close her mouth. Seriously, this is her natural expression: http://blog.vividrealism.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/hro_105_03.jpg
- mrgreenjeans, on 10/10/2007, -0/+36Hiro may be his own father? Like Philip J. Fry is his own grandfather, just gives you the heebee jeebees.
- keyboardduder, on 10/10/2007, -9/+39How about they give us a reason why the last episode sucked so ***** badly?
How about how there was more action in eps 25 than in 26?
How about if there isn't any more action, i'm gonna stop watching?
Its was a buildup for nothing. Wow, everyone got together, you didnt even need hayden to defeat him. Wow everyone has powers and they used them for good or evil. Sylar's defeat was pathetic and it ruined my night. - FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30Minus the beaver shots, that we can live with
- dunnylovehun, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27because as everyone knows, if cockroaches are known for one thing it's being able to withstand massive stab wounds to the chest
- tdogg241, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19"I did do the nasty in the pasty."
- ps3udov3ctor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18I'm looking forward to season two!
Sylar's alive since they keep showing new clips of him in the season two previews.
I think Nathan and Peter are alive. Nathan took Peter up high, dropped him, and got to a safe distance, while Peter still has Claire's invulnerability, so he could survive the explosion. That's my guess.
And Kristen Bell joins this season. Damn there's some hotties on that show. - mikeruiz7, on 10/10/2007, -5/+21After that finale you expect me to care about season 2? 20-odd episodes of building up to one final "battle" that was more like a backyard quarrel than anything else. Hell no I'm not going to waste--what's that? Kristen Bell? In season 2?
... when's it start, again? - taladas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14That Hiro is his own father is a ridiculous "theory". (I use the word loosely, hence the quotes.) But I do believe that Hiro's father is Takezo Kensai.. I don't think he's a time traveller as much as I think he is immortal. Not like Claire where he could walk through a woodchipper and come out unharmed, but more like elves in fantasy novels--long-lived, but able to be killed by a sword to the heart or whatever.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14agree 100%. i used to hate tv for making crappy shows, but now i hate it even more for making good shows and then wrecking them in the space of a season or two.
- ZebraCrew, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13"Indeed, and that past nastification is the precise reason why you lack the delta brain wave..."
- saiyanate, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14While imprisoned at the paper factory in Texas, Sylar ate the cockroach that crawled into his cell. It conferred some kind of cockroachy, insecty abilities, thus allowing him to heal and escape. That's also why he could survive after getting stabbed in the chest, and why it makes sense that he would crawl into a sewer instead of simply disappearing behind some bushes or down an alley.
Perhaps the Boogeyman is Uluru? - Kypt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11It is possibly that he was in fact speaking to his mom. His mom hardly ever listens so even though he said he was on his way, she was still in lalaland. Just like the sandwich thing which went something like this (not exact quotes but u get the jist of it).
Sylar: "You don't listen to me"
Mom: "Sure I do"
Sylar: "You're making me a sandwich..."
Mom: "So?"
Sylar: "I told you not to!" - NeoTEKK, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Okay, here's one question I am YET to find anyone that can answer. Now, I'm not 100% sure if it's that I missed something or what (I'm almost hoping I am because otherwise I'll go mad).
I take you back to the scene where Sylar makes it "snow" at his mom's place. If you remember, before ever arriving he made a call...to whom, is beyond me...but he said he was "on his way" or something of that nature. Immediately afterwards, there's another un-related scene about someone else (Patrelli?). THEN, he finally arrives at his mom's place. She says, and I quote, "Oh, I wish I would've known you were coming I would've cleaned up the place". This obviously tells you right off the bat that Sylar was, in fact, NOT talking to his mom on the phone when he said "on my way". So my question is, WHO the hell did he go to see? And WHERE did he get his friggin sub-zero powers out of nowhere?? Did I really miss something here or what? Someone please put me out of my misery.
"Mr. I-sack! Mr. I-sack!" - ZebraCrew, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10or why didn't he just fly himself away? because he lost control of all the powers he had which lead to him exploding.
- phpchris, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10I'm amazed cracked.com managed to fit something on to 1 page..
- Jacob, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10He had the freeze power since the beginning of the season remember when he froze that dude at the house where the girl lived. The house where parkman first used his telepathy.
- holzp, on 10/10/2007, -3/+12I dunno, this was very good:
"It might have been Matt Parkman getting his head stuck in a pot of honey. We’re not sure, we taped over it." - Aadain, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9I agree, I loved the whole season... except the finale. It just seemed like they ran our of steam and/or money for the special effects that would have been required. Sylar got smacked around a bit and then got stuck through the chest with a sword. Big whoop! Even the smacking around part was pedestrian compared to some of the other beatdowns in the show. A+ for the season. D- for the finale. Hopefully they will learn and make season two finale a huge deal to make up for this last finale.
- wierdaaron, on 10/10/2007, -12/+20I'm getting sick of these Cracked.com articles where every damn sentence is both clearly a calculated effort to be edgy or funny and a marvelous failure thereof.
- speedk0re, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7you forgot about the power to post the same thing twice on digg
- tdogg241, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Sylar does somehow have healing powers though, since he was shot numerous times throughout the first season. The first time he appeared in the show, Parkman shot him down and he got right back up and disappeared.
- monkeyboy7706, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Yeah I was expecting a big battle of powers between them, after all they are both nuclear. When Hiro was in the future and they started fighting it was behind a door, I thought that in the final episode we would see it. But als it was not meant to be.
Also peter has Hiros ability to teleport, why did Nathan have to take him away??
That finale could have been so much better.
I was also wishing Sylar would be killed as I don't think the character cuts it as a bigtime bad guy. To be honest they need someone who wants world domination. Not a collector who's only motive is to get more powers. Come on he doesn't even aspire to owning an underground lair and white cat. - saifatlast, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Veritably.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Yeah I had enough of Emo peter in Spiderman 3 alone.
- Synn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Here's a better question...why should we give a ***** what you think?
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I could also go with the nationally televised strip-tease.... as long as she looks like she's enjoying it.
- elf586, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6i guess no one else really caught this but when Peter Petrelli was being taught by the invisible man (i forget his name) the invisible man said that peter was not the first person he taught....so my guess is he was hesitant to teach peter because the other guy he taught didnt turn out the way he wanted.....so it is possible that he was the guy worse than sylar as well as who sylar was talking to on the phone...
- monkeyboy7706, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I personally have to save up 5 or 6episodes of Lost to watch in one go just so I can see something actually be answered while I watch it. Much as I like lost it really annoys me sometimes.
Lost has had questions crop up in series 1 that are still not resolved. Heroes tends to answer questions within a few episodes but replace them with new ones as it goes.
I agree they should not be compared. They are only compared in the context of being highly rated shows. - Synn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Because you will make a difference.
- unearth, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Unfortunately? She had the most excruciatingly boring plotline out of all of the characters. She talks to herself in a mirror and every word out of her mouth has to do with worrying about Micah. Terrible. It would be a blessing if they killed her off, or fixed her character to not suck so much.
- TrojanGuy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Best line:
This extremely interesting development was just as quickly swept aside when everyone present was distracted by something. It might have been Matt Parkman getting his head stuck in a pot of honey. - Synn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Candice wasn't a shapeshifter. She created illusions.
- halfabean, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I was wondering how far down I'd have to scroll before someone made an idiot of themselves over this. grats!
- bibfortuna, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Dugg up because this made me lol:
"If you venture into certain corners of the Internet, you can even find people speculating that Takezo Kensai is actually Hiro’s father, who is himself a time traveler. Which would explain what he was doing in space with William Shatner throughout the '60s." - neodorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I agree. I like both shows but the only real similarities are that they are both serials and both have a geeky scifi fanbase. Lost is all about the mysteries and Heroes is more of a comic book adventure.
- uzusan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony - TypeEE, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Season one got me hooked from ep1 to saving the cheerleader. It ran downhill then after, yet I"ll see how it goes for season 2.
- rhabd0mancer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"Maybe cause it's a better show than Lost could ever be?"
Funniest thing I've ever read on Digg. - GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Agreed. Her redeeming point was that she was hot...but we've got "The Cheerleader" for that.
- shredswithpiks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4empathy = peter
- ngmcs8203, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think that was in reference to his partner that died in the graphic novels.
- neodorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I respectfully disagree. Pretty much every classic comic-book story ends with the day saved but the villains slinking away to lick their wounds and leave you wondering when they will strike again. Also, this is a TV serial. They have to keep you guessing and wanting more. They just never seem to live up to people's expectations. I was cool with the ending knowing there was more to come.
- unearth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Everybody picks on Peter for being emo, and that just makes him more emo. It's a vicious cycle.
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I know they keep wiggling a lot if I don't stomp them well.
- djAnakin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This article is retarded. Of course these questions will be answered. This isn't Lost.
Sylar is alive.
Nathan and Peter are rad.
Evolution takes place over a long period of time. Heroes has thusfar been about the latest generation of people with abilities.
Lots.
The new bad guy.
There I just answered all their retarded questions. - moocow1452, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It was the Mystery Sock, it's his fault.
- arashinogarou, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2"No one will shut up about Lost, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica... So am I seriously the only one who doesn't watch any of it or care?"
Yet you come here to tell us how you feel. Do you often enter conversations just to be able to tell everyone involved that you don't care about the subject they are all talking about? - IndigoMoss, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I thought the start of the show was the best part. It started to get lame when they started giving everyone super powers.
