- ScottyF311, on 09/04/2008, -2/+24You know what might be better with Sci-Fi?
Survivor. - ewsherm, on 09/05/2008, -1/+17That wasn't funny...
- HookmasterCH47, on 09/05/2008, -0/+15How about if we added a little Sci-Fi to the nightly news, ya know, to keep us on our toes.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -2/+11Dugg for House.
- AmyVernon, on 09/04/2008, -3/+10I would even watch L&O if it were to adhere to the suggestions in this article. Love it.
- DeathJux, on 09/05/2008, -1/+7Weeds.
Marijuana-powered robot. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+7HAHAHAHAHAHA......not
- TheHappyToaster, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5While House-Who would be damn cool, I want to see Hugh Laurie dressed as Gordon Freeman. Throw some black frames on him, and he seriously looks the part.
- coyote1284, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5The Hammer is my Penis!
- shawnanigans, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5Lost?
- synystar, on 09/05/2008, -1/+6Add nanotech machines as a cure for cancer to 'House'. I can't wait for the ONE "Cancer Has Been Cured" article that gets thousands of diggs soon after we're all sure about it.
- KaiUno, on 09/05/2008, -2/+6Most shows need a little Joss Whedon in their run.
- lamiaconfitor, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4These are all horrible Ideas, but still an entertaining read. I would not mind seeing a 'what if..." program where entire production teams/acting cast do a 'guest show' and explore these types of wacky ideas, though. I could see it as a great marketing platform for less popular (and self deprecating?) shows as well
- positron, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4The chick playing Silver is hotter. I also kinda digg the little pill-popping wanna-be-actress girl.
Er, I mean...
Dude! You watch 90210? Fag! - sdny, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3Prison Break has become so ridiculous this might actually happen...
- ninetimes, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3I want to see a Dr. Who / Dr. House crossover.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3I always thought Futurama could use a science-fiction twist.
- crossmr, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3you know what might be better if it was more real...survivor..
Here is a handicam....we're dropping you off on a real remote island with some toothpicks.. we'll see you in 6 months and not a moment before... - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+4Scifi may make it better but lesbian sex will definitely make it better.
- Tuba1060, on 09/05/2008, -3/+6If for no other reason than the House-Dr. Who crossover idea in the comments, this is the greatest article ever
- xsecretfiles, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3lol when I read it I was like "well, hello spoilers"
- Murdats, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2do you think people would honestly start questioning the news if they started reporting that your city is being destroyed by aliens then proceed to show footage of aliens levelling your city, sure some people may look outside and not see anything, but they will probably figure that they are already dead and just lie down.
- irfanmp, on 09/04/2008, -0/+2I just did a quick comparison with the 90210 cast on IMDB and I'm guessing she's Jessica Stroup.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1888211/ - Darksoul, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2I totally agree reality tv is the epitome of whats wrong with tv and I agree the people that watch that ***** are stupid.
- xsecretfiles, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Haha House is already a freaking cold robot/tool/cyborg thing. i LOVE him
Also grey's anatomy can use a butt plug machine, since those interns are way obsessed about sex.... - gorgeoussand, on 09/04/2008, -2/+4I wonder who the babe is standing second from the right . . .. anyway, I agree with AmyVernon's comment. Cheers !!!!!!!!!
- coyote1284, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Prison Break in space? Wasn't that the plot of Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay?
- Saitekc, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2House is god, he doesn't need sci-fi to have super powers. :)
- RainDrizzleFog, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Survivor: International Space Station!
- falstaff, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2House + Sci-Fi = The X-Ray Files
- crossmr, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2You're welcome:
http://www.celebritymoviearchive.com/tour/movie.ph ...
You're more welcome..
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=e-dhLz7Xpy8 - howdareyou, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Heroes could be a little less 90210 and a little more My Secret Identity.
- dandonia, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2He probably meant that show "the real OC" which is a reality tv show.
Some reality shows suck but others are good to watch. Take UFC's Ultimate Fighter. It might not be the most gripping tv in the world but it rocks and what happens in that show directly effects the UFC. We have already had several champions groomed.
Other reality shows like xfactor give a lot of people a chance to make a name for themselves and to live their dreams. Even the ones that don't fully make it but do the local scenes can add "as seen on xfactor" to thier billing which means more people earning money doing something they love.
Big Brother (world wide) has given plenty of people big chances in life. It has made millionaires out of a lot people that otherwise would be doing nothing. It has rejuvinated dead careers and all in all is good for the public.
------------
Don't get me wrong, reality tv can suck, but a lot of the times shows like xfactor/big brother are extremely entertaining and because they are not scripted they can have some really good twists and suprises. - DeFex, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Dumb
- CrimsonBlur, on 09/05/2008, -1/+2I'm assuming you never watched The OC... it was not a reality TV show. Unfortunately, The Hills is, and it's basically the same thing. Pretty frightening.
- PhoenixReborn, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1I didn't laugh once. How did this make the front page?
- Ezxen, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I hate to say this but i think prison break is already heading towards some scifi. i was for the most part ok with the way the show went about itself ,but data black hole ? come on whats next Micheal is so smart because he is a lien hybrid .
- lamiaconfitor, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1...or act in a Half-life movie?
- glaz, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I think Lost has proven that if treated with careful effort and respect, Sci Fi can be the most effective AND the most popular medium on television.
- Endrian, on 09/05/2008, -2/+3Just take any of those shows and put Nathan Fillion in them.
Boom, instant sci-fi (as well as instant awesome). - solidus636, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Jessica Stroup IS the chick playing Silver.........
- Stemnin, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I could see Charlie Sheen (Two and a Half Men) banging Orion females.
- kurtwinter, on 09/05/2008, -1/+2Indeed, Lost and BSG could benefit from a little sci-fi. Wait, what?
- Darksoul, on 09/05/2008, -1/+2I am confused was that supposed to be funny because that made me face palm.
- abarysh2, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Actually they were talking about the "War of the Worlds" book on the radio and some people who weren't paying attention thought they were being serious about the alien attack and freaked out. It was a mess.
- TNsmokyjoe, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Sci-Fi is all about sex anyway, so your comment is redundant.
Lesbian sex is cool. - Beylan, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1They make them because they are really cheap to make, so don't need much in the way of ratings to be profitable.
- cjacks9, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I was waiting for the article to say something like that about BSG..or in the comments. Ha.
- Beylan, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Nah, it wont get any diggs. If/when cancer is cured there will be 5000 comments saying how we see those stories every other week.
- bbevan7, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Stupid
