- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5awesome news.... good job Kevin
- D4RKfantasy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5How come this has 60+ Diggs, but no FP
- tomvendetta, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5very nice. I am kinda worried though, most of the people around here are smart enough to not be a newb. With digg covering other topics, this will bring an influx of newbs. AHHH!!!
- gookie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Umm, question, just how much dyou think Kevin earns from DIGG?
- D4RKfantasy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What the hell, 104 diggs, no front page. somethings up here.
- Braulio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I agree that this will cause an influx of NOOBS. Brace yourselves everyone, prepare. I really think this will only be for the better, sure for awhile we'll be like wtf, but it'll grow on us.
- Ilyanep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hmm...I got to this story through cloud view.
- saruburg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is digg censoring itself to promote non-digg, non-KevinRose related stories?
- loginname, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I hope it has the "invisible touch"
- gookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Stories with the word "DIGG" on the title are subjected to moderation.
When "DIGG" stories gets enough diggs, it will be sent into a pool moderation for approval before being promoted to the front page.
That's what I think, LOL, and I think highly feasible. - ShellShock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+195 diggs and no FP
- DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's been pre-buried before it hit the front. It doesn't show up in cloud view, so if this got 1000 diggs, it won't hit the front.
- g4blows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is very strange after only 4 and a half hours too..
- Negyxo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I feel that the digg system is very succesful in providing a tech news source due to the user base. Inovation of the tech type is always aided by the tech community. It will interesting to see Digg being run on different user bases. I don't know how i feel about a "entertainment/celebrity gossip" type Digg news service, imagine the articles and comments. Digg works as a self-automating site because of its users, i'm not sure how far from that user base they can go.
- MrScoopFlash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think this interview is fake, that's why we've got 100+ digg's and no front page
- n8ster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't wait to see what they have in store. I don't think they would be talking about it like they are unless there were some very big changes in store.
http://www.diggfans.com - emh924a, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0genesis sounds like wrath of khan
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Would Google ever acquire digg, at the rate it's quickly becoming a handy source of info?
- yonbeastie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I've been hoping this would happen for awhile. Sometimes you just find a great story that isn't tech related, and nobody in real life seems to care about it :) I can't help but post non-tech news sometimes (eg. http://www.digg.com/links/Feminist_Movement_v2.0). With 3.0, there will be a good place to post other news. Awesome news, Kevin. Keep it up!
- pete10203, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1go kevin, go kevin.
- Ilyanep, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Wow...I will never want to get involved in a politics digg. It seems that any time a politics story is posted (for some reason), that all republican sympathizers end up with -100 diggs and all democrat sympathizers end up with +1000 diggs each.
Nothing that causes controversy can be user regulated that well. - penguindude15, on 10/12/2007, -12/+1it is gone
- Negyxo, on 10/12/2007, -13/+0delete
- DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
