- superc0w, on 12/05/2008, -43/+421It's cool I'm kind of over watching kids punch each other in the nuts. I'd rather just watch hulu instead.
- bamsebomsen, on 12/05/2008, -15/+389"no more Anonymous".

I think I speak for the entire male collective on Digg when I ask:
So, whatcha doing tonight? - Orsenfelt, on 12/06/2008, -8/+90These people again? ***** sake. Nothing ***** and her pals ever say actually comes to anything. Conspiracy theorists at best.
There was a button right next to it to swap to the old most viewed page. They tried something new, big ***** whoop. - nephilimx, on 12/06/2008, -0/+79"YouTube says: no more Anonymous, no more exposure for the non-'sponsor-friendly'."
They did a server update and removed most popular for 6hours, GTFO with lies. - DarkProd, on 12/06/2008, -2/+79... I still want Stage6

Not with a bang but a whimper - inactive, on 12/06/2008, -17/+76you mean the endless flood of newbies that make up 4chan nowadays, reposting 4 year old memes and scientology crap over and over?
- inactive, on 12/06/2008, -4/+56YT got Napstered !!!!!!!!!
- Aturaten, on 12/06/2008, -6/+56FTW! LONGCAT IS LONG! ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US xD
It wasn't funny in 2004 and it's monumentally less funny now. I agree and dugg up. - najdorf, on 12/06/2008, -2/+52Hey, pretending to be a girl to get dug up is MY strategy!
- MajorazWrath, on 12/05/2008, -9/+58I feel like this is an important issue, a lot of Youtuber agree. I certainly do. Instead of us choosing what to watch, people now will have a tendency to stick to whats easier to find.
Youtube is turning into a next gen television: the original(now billionaires) creators *probably did not have this in mind. - crazlunatic, on 12/05/2008, -18/+64Buried because all you have to do is click once to get to Most Viewed...
- dhVyse, on 12/06/2008, -0/+45or redtube
or pornhub - Kwipper, on 12/06/2008, -9/+47I am going bury this article. This whole article is full of fail. YouTube is not dead god dammit!

youtube is not the end all, be all. someone needs to get out more - alby13, on 12/06/2008, -1/+29youtube would change their policy if enough people are against it.
- psevium, on 12/06/2008, -1/+29I was thinking that too. YouTube is far from dead for removing (then apparently reinstating) a feature of the site.
- illDecree, on 12/06/2008, -0/+27xhamster
- zamli, on 12/06/2008, -0/+27Thanks digg
- BrianOl, on 12/06/2008, -1/+28How about Vimeo's TOS:
By submitting your Submission to VIMEO, you hereby grant VIMEO and its affiliates, successors and assigns a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers) and transferable license (with a right to create derivative works) to use, copy, transmit or otherwise distribute, perform, modify, incorporate into other works, publicly perform and display your Submission or any portion thereof, in or through any medium, whether now known or hereafter created. VIMEO shall be entitled to unrestricted use of any Submission for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the submitter. You also grant each user of the VIMEO Site and Services a non-exclusive license to access your Submission through the VIMEO Site or any other access point authorized by VIMEO, and to use, copy, transmit or otherwise distribute, perform, publicly perform, create derivative works of, and display your Submission to the extent expressly authorized by VIMEO on the VIMEO Site and/or in this TOS.
Aside from that, vimeo was cool until they imposed all the recent restrictions: only one HD video per week, can only create one group, one channel and three albums. Even with the Pro account, HD embeds can only be viewed 1,000 times before you have to purchase more views. - alex7575, on 12/06/2008, -10/+36http://hotspotshield.com/

- heavyd14, on 12/06/2008, -0/+23Better content.
- Elliuotatar, on 12/06/2008, -0/+22People actually look at the frontoage of Youtube and click videos there? I get my popular video links from other video sites. The most viewed stuff on Youtube is generally crap. I mean *****, on the most viewed page right now there's EIGHT naruto videos, six idiots talking to their webcams, and two soccer videos. The only thing worth watching would be the MSNBC video if that weren't potentially fake.
- zoydberg, on 12/06/2008, -4/+26FTA-UPDATE: Shortly after the release of this article and our already very popular video on the subject, YouTube has put its 'Most Viewed' back as default Videos page. We hope they're actually listening to its community and will stick to this system, let's keep a close eye on it. We're very cautiously optimistic, spread the word, digg it, make videos, let YouTube realize how important we feel this is.
- Vodd9, on 12/06/2008, -1/+22That might not be the best idea.
- Pixelante, on 12/06/2008, -1/+22The original creators wanted to make money. They had a lot of dosh in mind. Guess what, that's what they got.
We're not their customers, we're their product. - fcrow, on 12/06/2008, -0/+19Thanks for that, adjusted my opinion.
- dlite922, on 12/06/2008, -0/+18*goes into a bookmark frenzy*

- alex7575, on 12/06/2008, -5/+23If you live overseas, you can use hotspotshield (VPN) to "fool" Hulu servers to think you're connecting from within the US.
Is that why I'm being dug down? or is it that it doesn't work anymore? - haiduz, on 12/06/2008, -2/+20@dhughes
