- drollia, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20so now i can watch lonelygirl15 anywhere now
- hackmiester, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12No.
- moocow1452, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Think about this. Small videos, on an even smaller screen. This can't possibly go wrong!!!!
- evilelf2407, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Nice, this should be amazing and I'm hoping to get a new Cingular 8525 in June, yay!
- bestadvocate, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Sometimes you need to Ask a Ninja on the go dude!
- teh_toaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://www.diggriver.com/ - Official, I think.

http://www.google.com/reader/m/view/ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Eventually all news will probably be funneled thru there, so it's a very strong move for Google. It's Google now, not YouTube. YouTube's founders got lucky with timing, Google will make this very profitable and successful.
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Okay, well everyone who has mentioned the iPhone so far has been dugg down, but don't you think it's peculiar that this is getting released in the same month when apple and google have said they are working on other technologies?
- jsyrus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Can I continue to make pointless comments on the videos now too?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6See the article a few posts up about how stupid people eagerly pay a 7000% markup on text messages?
Just wait until you see how your phone carrier dicks you over so you can watch a cat taking a ***** on your phone (well, at least that's what the description says... YouTube's "video" sucks ass on a computer screen, so it's going to be a moving mass of indiscernible garbage on a phone).
Don't line up to support this *****. YOU ARE BEING LAUGHED AT by corporate jagoffs. And you're cheering it? - eunichs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5You can! Some suggestions:
1. "so i can watch those mentos guys while I commute?"
2. "will that fat star wars kid fit on my tiny screen?"
3. "awesome, all those ***** top gear clips that make the digg front page, accessible wherever I am!" - Benjamin2040, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"Don't line up to support this *****. YOU ARE BEING LAUGHED AT by corporate jagoffs. And you're cheering it?"
It's called freedom. - ajs05, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@rodgers6424: can use the rss feed instead of a mobile version of the full site
- ArminPiTT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yea, streaming YouTube video's using EDGE is gonna be just dandy
- lateralus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No means No.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3why does everbody hate the canadians?
we watch youtube 2 - TheTjalian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3and don't forget the best one:
"MY PHONE BILL! IT'S OVER 9000 THOUSAND!!!" - reiner15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I used orb for awhile but Tmobiles edge speeds aren't anything to brag about. I think this is why it hasn't caught on with the mobile community because not everyone adds high speed access to their plans.
- WiiH8PS3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How much is this going to cost the customer???
- ZzFDKzZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I use TinyTube on my 3G 8525 phone.
- emooney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Seriously, I've been watching Live TV, Recorded TV, YouTube, Google and AOL videos for months now on my XV6700 through Orb (www.orb.com). I don't even have to download the videos to my phone. Orb streams them for me. Podcasts too. They're great to watch when you're on a elliptical at the gym or sitting in traffic.
XV6700 + EVDO + Orb = video anywhere or car accident!
I'm really surprised orb hasn't caught on quicker. - gateway, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have been working on bringing revision 3 to mobile phones, here is an unofficial release at http://mvstreamer.mobi run the test page first to see what format your phone supports.
- Endeavour3d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Considering Adobe has yet to release Flash 8, yet alone Flash 9 for mobiles, I really would like to know how they are going to implement this...
- rdoger6424, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Is there a mobile version of digg?
- diggnationdevon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3This is gonna be friggin' sweet
- reiner15, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1my windows mobile phone loads it just fine
- corsairstw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Why not? They're waiting for the Verizon deal to expire. Google's CEO is on Apple's board, they've been talking about integrating Google products into Apple products more. This would seem like an opportune time to do something.
I also have this feeling that the next version of iMovie will be able to export directly to YouTube, but that's just a guess as well. - emooney, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Have you noticed that processor speeds for smartphones and PPC's have stalled at 400mhz? They've been at 400mhz for over two years now.
Anyone know why? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Right on the first count, wrong on the second. Google ***** up on this, big time. Video hosting is already becoming a commodity. It was something they could have done free; all they needed to do brand Google Video differently.
- reiner15, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@emooney
battery life

get a pda or smartphone - Drumrboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You + Mouse Click = Blocked! :-)
have a nice day... - kevin.gc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think they already launched: http://youtube.com/browse?s=mv
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Anybody notice that you can't even get a ***** ADDRESS in your contacts on most phones, and you're worried about processor speed?
How about we start with functioning phones before dicking around with crap like downloadable MPEG artifacts? - splatnews, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I guess this isn't for any of us T-Mobile customers in the US. GPRS would be cool maybe 10 years ago and EDGE is not much better. But then again why would I want this on my phone? Well...... maybe for those boring moments...
http://splatnews.com/ - EmmSee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Google doesn't even own YouTube.mobi ...
- sickswaystop, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3HOPEFULLY THIS MEANS AN ALL SYSTEM COMPATIBLE MOBILE FLASH PLAYER... which is long overdue.
- radiofrequency, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is going to rock on the Samsung Helio phones.
- lazyrussian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I definitely just read that as Mobile Suit....like Mobile Suite Gundam....ok ya.
But this sounds awesome nonetheless. - timeblind, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2uploading
- xtlosx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1haha love the lonelygirl comment.. ridiculous videos that girl makes, holy hell.

- cbergeron, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3Apple+Google+Youtube =
i + Phone+MobileVideo = heaven - Mocib, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1I've switched to Soapbox some time ago.
It has better video quality (higher resolution). Fast upload and download speeds too (but for how long?). - corsairstw, on 10/12/2007, -13/+3Hmm.... What else comes out in June? Do I smell a Youtube - iPhone correlation approaching?
