Was some Brazilian law broken? Was it illegal for the video to be recorded? Or perhaps is it illegal in Brazil to distribute a likeness of someone without their permission? Based on the few details in the article, there wouldn't be a case if this took place in the US.

It's impossible to shut down YouTube, since the Brazilian judge doesn't have jurisdiction in USA. Also, blocking all users in Brazil from accessing YouTube requires a huge effort, to configure all backbones and providers.
