- pixelmixer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10maybe you've forgot already, but Yahoo started it all... its hardly a wannabe.
- robertDouglass, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Extra shameless plug: Lullabot is going to be talking about Drupal Scalability and Performance on the following day (March 24): http://www.lullabot.com/seminar/drupal_performance_and_scalability/sunnyvale_ca_2007
The day after that (March 25), in the same venue as the scalability seminar, there will be a Drupal hack-a-thon. Bring your laptop and a fresh copy of vim =) - Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5And blogspam
I mean blog coverage - chrisgarrett, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I just wish I had the cash to attend, here is hoping for lots of digital downloads and transcripts from the events
- jeff1943, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The conference is free, as in beer.
- cpoteet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What? No WordPress? Shame.
- kbeeveer46, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Too bad us at Pligg.com probably won't be able to make it
- photomatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I went to the last OSCMS conference and it was 99.9% Drupal, There's nothing wrong with that, but I think the non-Drupal guys there didn't get as much out of it, and I'm not terribly inclined to go again even though it's much closer this time. If you want to learn more about Drupal, though, it's fantastic and all the core people are there.
- shm0edawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I didn't even know this was happening, and I work at the Sunnyvale campus. I'll definitely have to check it out. Hell, I'll be there anyway.
- Yankidank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We shall find a way my friend!
- Four20, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I'm digging this to support e107. . .and i guess to give props to Yahoo. . .wonder why we don't see Google doing this
- UnConeD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The current line up of projects is temporary. All it takes to add a new project is for someone (who preferable is a community ambassador for the given project) to sign up and add it, and propose some sessions
The last OSCMS was definitely not 99% Drupal.. there was a big Drupal majority, but that makes sense because it was organised by people in the Drupal community. We can only help open up the event to other projects, but we cannot give sessions on CMSes we don't know much about. - honkyman5000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I second e107. An example of it at the San Francisco Transportation Management site...
http://www.tmasf.org - lordatlas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How about writing software that has some kind of documentation, dude?
- henribergius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm proposing a session on integrating a personal CMS with various Web 2.0 services, i.e. making your "personal mashup" that also acts as a backup of your data in Flickr, del.icio.us and others:

- Remmy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1But not free as in "All expenses paid."
- discursives, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Shamelessly plug on you Drupal supreheroes .... Lullabot floats all the boats! This is going to be awesome! my old stomping grounds. Robert, keep your eye on DC, we're planning our camps! http://groups.drupal.org/washington-dc-drupalers http://peerproducers.com .
- cbrumelle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Matt: I think this year *could* be much different, given the location in the bay area. I also think that open source projects can learn much from one another, and despite the Drupal heavy focus of last year, I hope you reconsider your attendance at this years event. It would be great to have a strong WordPress presence. Why not encourage the core WordPress team to show up? It's a great venue, given for free from Yahoo!, and I'd like to see this fantistic opportunity exploited to its fullest (and to me, that includes having WordPress there)...
Plus, we need more teams for the 1st annual CMS playoff soccer match on the Yahoo! lawn... :) - corevette, on 10/12/2007, -17/+1yahoo is such a google wannabe...its almost too sad.
