- doiveo, on 11/19/2008, -0/+33Sediment n. - Material that settles to the bottom of a liquid; lees.
Sentiment n. - A thought, view, or attitude, especially one based mainly on emotion instead of reason. - davechua, on 11/19/2008, -3/+29Yahoo is pretty much a dead duck, without any idea what it wants to be.
- sillygato, on 11/19/2008, -1/+21#6 Yahoo.com looks like *****. It's a throwback to the late '90s/early '00s and never got with the times.
- Sarcasm3000, on 11/19/2008, -1/+18Yahoo could bounce back if they came up with some sort of innovative ad campaign, something with a dolphin perhaps?

Question: My dog was sprayed by a skunk this morning,Help!!?
Answer: put him to sleep... it is the only solution i can think of... r.i.p. doggie..LOLZ - doiveo, on 11/19/2008, -6/+21Yang leaves, stock jumps 8.6%. Hmmmm what is the market sediment on him I wonder?
- mikeabundo, on 11/19/2008, -1/+15The market is burying Yang in sediment.
- freebird4, on 11/19/2008, -0/+12At least you corrected yourself.
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+11Being a complete piece of ***** should have been on there. Yahoo! Mail can blow me.
- anixmander, on 11/19/2008, -0/+8So his name is mud?
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -0/+6Yahoo Answers is a great source of humor.
Like this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200802 ... - speedk0re, on 11/19/2008, -4/+8i'm too lazy to look at the list. Is "having a ***** search engine" on there?
- Stomper622, on 11/19/2008, -1/+5I prefer Excite.com over Yahoo.
- javaroast, on 11/19/2008, -0/+4Yahoo Answers is great if you want the wrong answer. The best part is that there is now way to correct an obviously wrong answer when the question is expired. And that wrong answer sludges up legit searches for eternity without a little extra work -site:yahoo.com
- ezran, on 11/19/2008, -1/+5a dead duck??
Maybe more like a lame duck.. - MrAwesomeMan, on 11/19/2008, -1/+4No, but it should be. I'm amazed at the different results I get from identical searches on Google and Yahoo. Google is by far the best search engine. (No Cuil, you're not even close).
- pw378, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3ow, thats harsh dude...
- politicalmuch, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Yang
Yang
Yang
Yang
and oh yeah, more Yang.
Saying FU to Microsoft didn't help things along either... - ricksite, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3Yahoo is such a strong brand with some solid products. I can't say I ever use their search engine anymore but I use a number of their services (Yahoo finance, Flickr, etc...). I was praying they wouldn't be bought by Microsoft. While their stock has been hit, I think they are still a very strong company without Microsoft. I think Yahoo should buy AOL. They could keep strong products like AOL radio and sell off the rest (ISP, etc...).
- stevenjchang, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3YAHOO and HOTMAIL mistake NUMBER 1
deleting all my emails and putting my account on hold after me going on vacation for 30 days.
YOU ***** I WISH I HAD GMAIL 13 years AGO. - Darkyuubi, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2A fairly interesting interview with King Yang as they call him on Wired. A bit on the long side but I think it gives Yang a chance to defend him self.
http://blog.wired.com/business/2008/11/the-madness ... - Elranzer, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2Sometimes Live is better, though. People don't give it a sot. That and Ask.
- OBKenobi, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2I remember something called IRC. Chatrooms? Bah.
- Sparky9292, on 11/19/2008, -1/+3Uhm, they eliminated user-created chatrooms... And made adult yahoo user groups difficult to find and join.
But Yahoo still has the best chat client for video/mic/photo-trading of all of them. The chatrooms are still bot-filled. - MrAwesomeMan, on 11/19/2008, -1/+3I've found Yahoo answers to be quite helpful. Sure, there is the occasional idiot who answers a question just to get 2 points, but for the most part, I've received insightful answers whenever I've asked a question.

- nkassi, on 11/19/2008, -2/+4Yahoo isn't doing poorly, Investors just want a quick buck right now and getting yahoo sold is all they wanted. Is it good for the company? Well, their won't be a company once Microsoft finishes their bombing attack. And the employee and others working their will be working at ... Not microsoft. How many BSD admins does Microsoft need? Or Perl/Lisp/Python developers?

- Elranzer, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1I hope you just mean the AOL ISP. Time Warner RoadRunner is one of the best broadband services out there (it was created before the AOL-TW merger, too).
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -3/+4YaWHO? Isn't that the chat site with tons of free web-cam porn? And by porn I mean people masturbating for eachother. I'm gonna... so close.. oh baby... YAAAAAAAAAAHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
- alvinhokid, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1It's ironic that the most visited website in the world is produced by a company that's doing so poorly.

- MrAwesomeMan, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Seriously, that's the first thing that crossed my mind when I heard Yahoo was having trouble. Please, don't make me go back to CBSSportsline.
- spindigg, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I find it hard to believe that Yahoo will ever see it's former glory again. I also said that about Apple back in the mid nineties and look at them now!
- ricksite, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1I mean the AOL ISP+services but probably excluding TW RoadRunner. Yahoo could build up their portfolio with AIM, AOL Radio, AOL Video, etc...
- wake2wake, on 11/19/2008, -2/+3Is my fantasy football league in jeopardy?
- modernretro, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1yahoo games and 4tw!
- dantw, on 11/19/2008, -4/+4financially, yahoo is sound -- as sound as any web based company. it's been profitable for a while now. this is all perception driving down its stock price, and probably into the arms of microsoft. not good news for netizens, in my opinion.
- modernretro, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0I can't stand their logos and their obnoxious ads that say "yaho0o0o0o". makes my ears bleed.
- devoss, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1Yahoo who?
- NYKnicker, on 11/19/2008, -1/+0I bet there is so much regret for not accepting Microsoft proposal.
- swass, on 11/19/2008, -3/+2#6: IMVironments.
- randancing, on 11/19/2008, -1/+0Yahoo! has everything in place to be the most used portal on the web --- but--- it is almost impossible to use most of it. They half way build things and then bury them so far into the background that no one can find them. They devote most of their start page to Paris Hilton rather than the various services they have spent 'billions' of dollars to acquire. Even yahoo search doesn't give a link to Zimbra for yahoo itself, only to third party reviews. Yahoo doesn't want anyone using their services and they don't want to use their portal to advertise their services. They are like the man with the very small penis who doesn't want anyone to date women. There is some very serious insecurity in the Yahoo! culture.
- mindpuzzle, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1Does he get to keep the stapler?
Did security walk him out?
Did they change the locks to the place?
Who is checking is emails now................ - inactive, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1could never get used to Yang's ***** duffus face....looks clueless!
- s10stealth, on 11/19/2008, -1/+0Has anyone mentioned that their home page has WAY too much junk on it?
I use Google. Less mess and loads LOTS faster so I can get to where I really want to go.
