- Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -6/+55Just wait till those people who say "Linux lacks driver support" discover that they can't use common drivers in Vista.

- xs650, on 10/12/2007, -2/+40"Not as funny as I imagined. Sorry guys."
However, it was as useful as most of the Vista print and online upgrade or not articles. - simonfl, on 10/12/2007, -3/+36I think the chart told you "Stop being a smart ass"
- JPPiper, on 10/12/2007, -2/+35Um leafspot
First you say no problems then turn around in the next sentance and start mentioning a problem you have had
Did I miss something? - Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -5/+29Sounds like a wonderful experience.......
- Bamborzled, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23Then you pick "No" in the chart.
It's as simple as that. - GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23To understand recursion one must first understand recursion.

- KevinAce, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Very good PDF. I was expecting something serious but this lightened my mood a bit. Creative to say the least!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16> Of course, the people who worked on Vista (I didn't) get their very own copy as a gift.
I think you mean "as a curse." - Jwoey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15And here I didn't even know peas had brains.
- lithuin, on 10/12/2007, -7/+19I'm sure he meant no SIGNIFICANT problems. How do you get by every day interpreting things in the most literal/anal way possible.
No offense. Actually, a little bit of offense is intended, but in a friendly way, like your doctor telling you to stop being fat. - DonSayers, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13someone should make this more offical looking and put it on vista keosks
- samy293, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I liked the comments in green boxes.. particularly when he agrees to both on PC vs Mac ads being funny or otherwise:) Good work!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11You idiots complaining about are even lamer.
- ThinkBox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Does Vista have that new Squirt feature I've been hearing about?
- Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8My first computer came with BASIC. In those days we didn't need operating systems, we just PEEKed and POKEd everything.
- jarbro, on 07/23/2009, -1/+9buy vista

install 2000/xp/linux - Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Thought it would be a nice change of pace from bashing Sony....
- TheLD, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11"have friend who works at Microsoft, get Vista with their discount. Ultimate full $45."
Microsoft employees get all software at $14 regardless of what it is - colklink, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9@ThinkBox
Yeah, but you have to dial a 1-900 number for "activation"... - nixr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I dugg this for not taking the predictable "Use Linux" route. Not that I have anything against Linux. I use it daily. Just because OS zealotry is so last week.
- ArchonSG, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I like bashing Microsoft every now and then but the recent slew of "bashers" really should actually use Vista for a bit before bashing it.
I'll bet that more then half the people who are bashing Vista will have it installed before Vista SP1 comes out. - Agent124, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Where do I sign up to be a paid shill?
- DaMacGamer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7the only version of Vista im getting is Windows Vista Bittorrent Edition.
- vern01, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10Is it free?
YES: upgrade
NO: Do not upgrade
Does it have DRM?
NO: upgrade
YES: Do not upgrade - simpleid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Yea, I read that part twice, confused me as well.
- allenu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Yup, I work there/here and Ultimate is only $45 for us. Of course, the people who worked on Vista (I didn't) get their very own copy as a gift.
- GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8You could have simplified it as:
If( free && !DRM'd )
upgrade;
Else
don't upgrade; - rudy23, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7all of you nuts need to get laid first.
- kingfoot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5what, i think they are funny..
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm getting the Steve Ballmer Memorial Edition. It comes with a free chair and a lifetime supply of Pepto Bismol.
After using Vista, you're going to need it! - teamparadox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5**puts flame shield on**
I bought Vista Ultimate full version yesterday. Took me about 2 hours to prepare my pc (partitions, format and install), and then about 10 min to update Vista once i was booted, the updates were mainly drivers. I then spent another 10 min or so making sure all my drivers were latest version, another hour getting my programs installed and since then everything is fine by me.
I like Aero, I knew i liked it during the beta but it runs smoother now with the latest drivers, of course nvidia still has a metric **** ton work to do in this dept. It took me about an hour or two to get used to how everything works and where all the settings are located.
I gotta say im pretty happy so far, some programs seem to run better on Vista despite not being "compatible". I havent run into any major issue yet and any that I have encountered will be fixed when developers start patching or updating for Vista. I figured i'd take the leap now since sooner or later I would buy it anyways and im kinda glad I did because its a much cleaner smoother running OS then XP. - FUElitists, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7I love how the MS bashers come out of the wood work when stuff like this is posted, yet god forbid if you ever say anything bad about linux or the mac.
- malaak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5not sophomoric - dug you down
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This was the funniest thing I've seen on Digg
- armbar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"Yeah, me neither."
- nfvs, on 08/30/2008, -1/+4I agree about the "literal" part, but interpreting things anally is what brings a smile to our "faces".
- UltimaNut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4If( laid && !DRM'd )
BuyValtrex(Now);
Else
profit; - Gryffydd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If only.
