- Tomboys, on 04/01/2009, -1/+19April Fools?
- atomicpoet, on 04/01/2009, -0/+14It's about time. They just didn't have enough mojo to keep the damn thing running.
- w3ber, on 04/02/2009, -1/+14i'm using GOOGLE to search on WIKIPEDIA!!!
- barryiggins, on 04/02/2009, -1/+12I assume you meant "let alone", or is this some kind of mystical riddle?
- netneutrality, on 04/02/2009, -0/+10Contrary to what that article says, Google is already extremely user based, so what more could Wikia have possibly hoped to achieve? Every click on a Google result influences the relevance of that result to those search terms. That's why they track the clicks. That's why image searches on fairly innocuous search terms often result in the most shocking/striking images first, because people click on those first.
- SwiftKick34, on 04/02/2009, -2/+10I read, "Wikipedia's Jimmy Wales Found Dead"
- protodon, on 04/02/2009, -2/+10Okay now when is Google going to kill Knol?
- neo991lb, on 04/02/2009, -0/+6A Wikia... I never really knew you.
- MrChunks, on 04/02/2009, -2/+8***** off spammer. Blocked, reported. You fail.
- Larssonk22, on 04/02/2009, -0/+5What is Wikia Search? Guess it doesnt matter now meh =/
- billricardi, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4Never. Knol is not a Wiki. It is an online document presentation and management system. The Knols I write aren't TOUCHED by anyone else, as is my right as the author. Others can use it as a collaborative effort if they want, but that's just the tip of the iceberg with Knol.
- MrChunks, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4You and me both.
- draxenato, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4I didn't even know this site existed and it was the fifth fastest growing online community ? Dunno if that says something about me or about the site...
Still, they only gave it a year or so, not a long time for an internet startup. - alexwilks88, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3To be honest, I'd rather they sorted out the incredibly fussy Wikipedia search engine first.
- transfire, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3Never heard of it. They gave it a year to prosper? Hah. That's laughable. Try advertising a little and give it 5 years, then you can call something a failure if it doesn't fly.
- lolwutpear, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3Maybe they wouldn't be shutting down if more people had heard of it.
- blax1, on 04/02/2009, -0/+2Wikia what?
- NeVo, on 04/02/2009, -0/+2Unfortunately not. The blog post is dated March 31.

- rpgmakr, on 04/03/2009, -0/+1I personally wouldn't miss it. It sucks.
- GaltShrugged, on 04/02/2009, -5/+6A for profit business wins yet again. Now if linux would call it quits we would be set.
- iceblizz, on 04/02/2009, -0/+1quit yer bitchin
- RetepNamenots, on 04/02/2009, -2/+2Mystical riddle.

- DarkBlueAnt, on 04/02/2009, -7/+2Look, I love Digg, but it's so slow! Not only does it get the same articles as Reddit 15 hours later (And this happens every day), but we get April Fools jokes on April 2nd :(
- neo991lb, on 04/02/2009, -9/+2You said 'fail'. Fag.
