- 21.0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Priceless.
- toprank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I agree with Michael, social bookmarks cannot be the sole method of link building. You've got to mix it up and be a fanatic about getting links in as many natural ways as possible. It's fundamental marketing principles.
- HawaiiSEO, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I was referring to to the phenomenon where people usually require multiple exposures to your brand before it gets stuck in a person's memory.
For example: One good Digg might be worth a temporary spike in traffic but several over time could be worth a large and loyal user base. - vertinox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+51 dig = 0.000415 Slashdots
Which is roughly 35 Farks. - balibones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Hawai SEO, two Diggs are worth a hen and a bush and 3.23 blog comment spams. But I am willing to trade for a cup of coffee and a Reddit up arrow.
- se7en11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3You could probably figure this out with a simply equation:
($ per ad click) * ((total hits from digg * % click on ads) / diggs) = $ per digg
($.25) * ((9732 * .05) / 34) = $3.38 per digg
Not sure how accurate this really is. Anyone have any real world data to share? - balibones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ahhh... I thought you were just making a joke. I should know, never joke with a man in a Hawaiian shirt. ;p
- MilitantRabbit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I remember when 1 digg was worth 40 kopecks.
- mistercharlie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think that 300-500 is from Digg traffic?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, he peaked and now only gets 300-500 hits per week? Yech. My site is nothing much to talk about and I'm getting just over 1000 hits per week. Better to be solidly consistent than binge and purge.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2what ***** buried this?
