  • toprank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I agree with Michael, social bookmarks cannot be the sole method of link building. You've got to mix it up and be a fanatic about getting links in as many natural ways as possible. It's fundamental marketing principles.

    For example: One good Digg might be worth a temporary spike in traffic but several over time could be worth a large and loyal user base.

    ($ per ad click) * ((total hits from digg * % click on ads) / diggs) = $ per digg
    ($.25) * ((9732 * .05) / 34) = $3.38 per digg

    Not sure how accurate this really is. Anyone have any real world data to share?
