- inactive, on 09/16/2008, -9/+89I was looking through this list appalled by the horrible grammar and the general just-threw-it-together feel of the post. I thought to myself, the only way this could have possibly made the front page is through the use of scripts and botnets. Then I clicked the back button and saw that it was posted by MrBabyMan.
And then I wondered to myself, why does Kevin Rose continue to let one user singlehandedly ruin digg? - inactive, on 09/15/2008, -6/+46don't forget Digg 1998, http://img216.imageshack.us/my.php?image=digg98qf8 ...
- inactive, on 09/16/2008, -2/+34Is it just me, or has Yahoo's layout always sucked?

- NovaPrime9, on 09/16/2008, -4/+16It's called a blind eye.
Not enough people complain.
Personally, I want a "Buried as babyman" option. - MaxMWood, on 09/16/2008, -1/+13I love how Amazon is practically the same back then as it is today.
- CurrentResident, on 09/16/2008, -4/+15I blame MrBabyman for the digg effect on this site.
- cbaarck, on 09/16/2008, -1/+12to my knowledge websites worked 10 years ago
- zapwow, on 09/16/2008, -1/+11"Network Timeout"... those were the days.
- Yankees368, on 09/16/2008, -1/+11So all the sites I visited 10 years ago looked like a Page Load Error?
- SubjectiveC, on 09/16/2008, -1/+9I don't remember Firefox timing out back in '98.
- peestandingup, on 09/16/2008, -2/+10I blame MrBabyMan for everything wrong in my life & the world.
- toxicityj, on 09/16/2008, -2/+10I wish broadband made that noise. in fact, I want a firefox extension that makes that sound every time I launch it.
- sillygato, on 09/16/2008, -1/+9My head hurts from all the grammar mistakes in that article. Save yourself the headache and go to the waybackmachine to look up the sites on your own.
- D3koy, on 09/16/2008, -1/+8"But over the pass decade, the site has been much more better"
I don't know how I made it that far, but I know I can't go on any further... - Evilblobs, on 09/16/2008, -1/+8Amazon didnt really change much
6 of the 10 i dont even go to. - cgibbo, on 09/16/2008, -1/+8You dare blasphemize the almighty by not capitalizing the I in Internet? See you in hell.
- Dhekke, on 09/16/2008, -2/+8From the site:
"Bush calls for relaxed immigration rules" - ironeus, on 09/15/2008, -5/+11Interface design sure has made strides in 1 decade.
- RealmDown, on 09/16/2008, -0/+6There is. It is the "Ok, this is lame" option.
- DjArcadian, on 09/16/2008, -2/+7I forgot about that Gary Condit thing.
- nickert0n, on 09/16/2008, -1/+6Wow "uploadingit.com" has a real familiar template. Where have i seen that before?.....
- ErrorLoading, on 09/16/2008, -1/+6Not really a repeat, but similar article with a different style.
http://www.errorloading.net/index.php?/archives/20 ... - Radan, on 09/16/2008, -2/+6"Bush calls for relaxed immigration rules"
That went well. - bwjacket, on 09/16/2008, -1/+510 years ago the interenet apparently didn't work. I don't remember it that way....
- cricketsymphony, on 09/16/2008, -0/+4MrBabyMan himself has said that people should never digg or bury stories based on the submitter. that's not very digg-like of you. digg or bury for the content.
- serenityflexed, on 09/16/2008, -0/+4It's weird to read news from that long ago:
"Immigration is not a problem to be solved, it is a sign of a confident and successful nation. Their arrival should be greeted not with suspicion and resentment, but with openness and courtesy."
-- Bush, pre-9/11. - WiretapStudios, on 09/16/2008, -2/+6I just make that sound with my mouth, it's easier and way more scary.
- huff51, on 09/16/2008, -0/+4if mrbabyman said it, it must be true
- peestandingup, on 09/16/2008, -2/+6Too funny! All the videos that were popular 10 years ago!! :-/

- 8270369, on 09/16/2008, -2/+5One of my pet peeves is how everyone has forgotten that IE5 was mindblowingly standards compliant at the time compared with the competition -- years ahead of the existing Netscape web browser. People wrote blogs and columns praising how easy it was to develop for IE and absolutely RAILING on Netscape 4, which was a complete and utter piece of crap (for the sake of historical reference, oh people of the future, the browser wars were not won because of a monopoly on the desktop, they were won because Netscape 4 was one of the ***** pieces of software ever made, basically because its developers stopped giving a ***** after AOL bought them out for a bazillion dollars but for reasons no one can fathom still let them keep their jobs as chair warmers).
It's like an Orwell 1984 thing, everyone has forgotten. We are at war, we have always BEEN at war, we like Mozilla, we have always LIKED Mozilla. Yeah, right. Dumbasses. I'm no Microsoft fanboi, but it scares me how stupid people are, and how easily the recent past is forgotten if it's inconvenient to remember it. - aston127, on 09/16/2008, -0/+3Kevin Rose: Czar of Digg.
- fooken, on 10/01/2009, -1/+4Haha the internet was dumb
- Icecream, on 09/16/2008, -1/+4I don't think microsoft.com looks anything like that anymore, but they changed it recently, before that changed it still kind of did look like that. Amazon how ever, still looks like that hahaha.
- mojoel, on 09/16/2008, -1/+4Haha!
Amazon's DVD top sellers:
The Matrix
Blair Witch Project
Titanic - HollyJ, on 09/16/2008, -1/+4And that's not even a typo! They made it 5 times. Painful...
- warispeace21, on 09/16/2008, -2/+5Uh, that's JULY 10th, not September.
- SaadGhouri, on 09/15/2008, -8/+11lol Amazon doesn't seem to have changed much. The same over-flowing content and same not-so-eye-candy layout and design.
