- Takteek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Update 2: Google replied with the following statement:
A bug in Blogger enabled an unauthorized user to make a fake post on the Google Blog claiming that we have discontinued our AdWords click-to-call test. The bug was fixed quickly and the post removed. Our click-to-call test is progressing on schedule and we are pleased with the results thus far. - JudgeJonathan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Weird indeed.
- RBotros, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6He posted the article before Google responded.
- frouse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I'm sorry, what did Google say?
- RBotros, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How many times did it happen to Google's Blog? How many times will it happen to all Blogger's Blogs?

@Takteek - ah, that explains it, thanks! - Philipp_Lenssen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2> Did you read the article completely
Kind of. I wrote it.
As Rbotros says, the updates were added to the post (and marked as such) after the initial posting time, which was when I submitted this to Digg yesterday -- there was no statement from Google at the time. - korhojoa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yar, it had been hacked.
- deanc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ha ha ha.
Maybe they heard our Mexuar Corraleta application is being launched on October the 24th at Astricon in Dallas and realised their solution was last generation crap.

A bug in Blogger enabled an unauthorized user to make a fake post on the Google Blog last night, claiming that we've discontinued our AdWords click-to-call test. The bug was fixed quickly and the post removed. As for the click-to-call test, it is progressing on schedule, and we're pleased with the results thus far. - Aaryn015, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1From the article:

(Note I’m still verifying the email sender as my question or subject wasn’t included, but it looks authentic.) - vdxc, on 09/29/2008, -3/+1Did you read the article completely or were you too busy trying to be the first to submit it? Or is your title meant to be rhetorical?

- akiraeternal, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1This happened a few days ago. News lag.
