WIPO orders Narnia domain transfer, makes 11-year-old cry
arstechnica.com — A Narnia-like battle has erupted over a domain name that one party argues will leave an 11-year-old child without a birthday present thanks to greedy, powerful rightsholders. Control of the domain, narnia.mobi, was taken away from its original registrant this week by the World Intellectual Property Organization and awarded to the estate of C.S. Lew

- magus_melchior, on 07/25/2008, -0/+5The parents' self-serving actions notwithstanding, I doubt Professor Lewis would have sent lawyers after this family, even if they were making all of 1200 quid per month on the ads-- and with a .mobi suffix, I really don't think they were making much money off the ads. Although the family lost, the Lewis estate may have enough egg on its face to try to make amends-- with a narnia.com address for the kid, for example.
