TrafficLoader.com to Infect BitTorrent Users with Malware

torrentfreak.com — A new BitTorrent site has appeared which will allow scammers and spammers to infect its users with spyware, malware and viruses. An admin of TrafficLoader.com says that no bad torrents will ever be removed from the site and is inviting people to upload malicious software to infect torrent users.

      XP Pro comes with all the tools you need to secure it - you just have to do it yourself. Also, Linux noobs have a hard time understanding the Windows security subsystem - It's not the primitive B.S. that you find on *NIX

        It's not about tools, its about flawed architecture. Take for instance, the fact that in XP services all seem to run in the same address space in memory, or that they can interact with whatever they want. At least Unix separates daemons into their own memory space.

From what I read on the Google cache of the site, they said nothing about malicious content.

      So like, what effect would those torrents have on me, are the files corrupt? Like, would I just have to get them from a different torrent, or would it try to do something, fail, and I'd still get the files I wanted?

    When will people realise that bittorrent is a legitimate means for distributing large files?

    Anyway it looks like trafficloader.com's account has been suspended, didn't they realise that the proliferation of malware/viruses is against a hosting providers terms use?
