- distrbnce, on 10/12/2007, -3/+32OMG! ~grabs tinfoil hat~
- noeljohnhoward, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24i just go to my profile, hit commented on, and search for "noel"
- Saintlink, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22This looks very helpful. I sometimes have a hard time keeping track of all my arguments/debates/comments. Thanks!
- spinchange, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19How meta is this? I'm commenting on commentful so i can track the comment with commentful.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14while this is all and well, i hope in the next version of digg when you check your 'commented on' section it will show you your comment and its score
- mozzep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11that one wasn't too funny.
- dizzledaking, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14Pffft, how stupid. Like I want to waste time seeing what OTHER people want to say! Nosiree, all I want to do is get my voice heard, then move on to the next story. If only there was a simple way to track comment diggs, because let's face it, that's all we really care about.
- elebrio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I kind of agree, but there has to be some useful function for this. Good for trolling?
- priapos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8How about something like this that can follow forum posts. That would be much more valueable to me.
- flameboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Still trying to figure out exactly how it works.
It only moniters certain URLs for changes? Thats not that big of a deal... - BlackCow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I think when he capitilized "OTHER" he was showing he was sarcastic.
- flameboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7After trying this out I've dediced its not good for me.
Digg comment pages almost always change after 10 minutes and they usually arnt worth re-reading to find the new post.
There needs to be a way to know when somone responds to YOUR message, not just the entire digg article. Still a good try. - tizz66, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I'd also like to be able to see an average comment-digg score. It'd be a handy way of weeding out trolls.
- jamsea, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6:P Sarcasam on the Internet sucks. The 5 or 6 people who dug you down don't realize that.
- spinchange, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5only joking elebrio...i actually think this is a cool idea...i've wanted to create something, based on this exact concept forever, but lack the programming skills / aptitude...cool post, dugg :)
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4For some reason the Digg team never added that type of functionality..
- jsoconne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is really useful if you are trying to keep track of everything you've said on other people's blogs, photostream, digg thread, etc. I personally use coComment (see cocomment.com), and where it's been most helpful, is when you leave a comments on other people's blogs, you check coComment to see if they've responded, instead of bookmarking and checking back all the time. But, I guess it's only important if you care about the response =)
- bntphoretwunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4all the worthless digg whores
- Glidedon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Digg needs a feature that allows you to go directly to your comments in each article. It's too time consuming to check back for replies to your comments.
- cphuntington97, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"I'd also like to be able to see an average comment-digg score. It'd be a handy way of weeding out trolls."
Or democrats.
:ducks:
(democrat) - Kailash.Nadh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Well, its similar to cocomment, but only simpler. And for those who suspect that commentful will trace your email adress and your digg identity, well, it doesn't :)
- Skas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This seems really nice, but it'd be best if there were a button you could press to auto-add it to commentful, perhaps on the "Binker" (middle click or a right click menu)
I know you are able to go to tools -> add to commentful, but yeah, as always it'd be great to skip that step. - ojk007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lol it even has a beta tag, could this be anymore web 2.0
- NikZ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No. All it does it tell you how many comments are associated with a given URL. For example, this article currently has 36 comments. If you add this article's URL to Commentful, it will simply say "Comments: 36".
I guess it's handy for Digg articles that you submit yourself, since Digg has no "someone has commented on your submission" notification mechanism (that I'm aware of). Otherwise, sites that you would likely use this for, say YouTube or Flickr, already offer email notifications on comments added, so I can't really see myself using this much. - gd007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2then it is not that useful. they may be upgrading later.
- brianjameskirk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Agreed... this seems cool, but will I really use it??
- M2Ys4U, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Test
- JenniferInMO, on 09/13/2008, -0/+1I clicked on the link and AVG intercepted a trojan horse.
- Qoogirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I like responses myself. What's the point in commenting if you don't know if someone's read it or not? Where's the socialness in that? The word commentful is plain silly though. But I can't think of anything else, so I won't say much...
- fiv3isaliv3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Just look at your profile and browse by what you've commented on. Then use the search feature in your browser and find your name. It takes like 2 seconds.
- Mysk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3CoComment also has a Firefox extension that allows you to easily manage your saved comments. You can get that extension here: http://www.cocomment.com/tools/extension
- Himself, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1seems like another job for google
"track this" - hman2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Does this track replies to each user's individual comments?
- satansbanjo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Testing
- dmron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Sounds exactly like cocomment.com :P
- Skas, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Testing
- wwwdot1jesdotus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmmm...I didn't know the comment section was for having conversations. What do you think flameboy?
- phileplanet, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2It's just a cocomment rip.
Lame - V3suvius, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1So, has anybody found a service like this that they like?
- theoallardyce, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1WTF It didnt work?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0lame
doesn't work for the latest version of firefox - theoallardyce, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Word to that!
- theoallardyce, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1OK it just counts the number of posts this is lame.
- computerbynar, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1dupe,
http://digg.com/software/Commentful_An_AMAZING_Comment_Traker
but its still nice that it made it to the front page - nocountries, on 10/12/2007, -14/+10WAIT - commentful can trace your email address to your digg username and FIND OUT WHO YOU ARE!! Do we trust them that much?
- theoallardyce, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Oh hardcore
- Gamemasta, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0This is a test. Please ignore it. Just trying to check my login.
- crawfishsoul, on 10/12/2007, -18/+5Like I give two ***** about your voice if you don't care about anyone else's voice. You're a *****.
- tidu, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2If I need a laugh I just have to go back and look at my digg comments ;) Which are made purely for comedic purposes, if you haven't noticed.

What is Digg?
