- dcmcderm, on 07/06/2008, -3/+46um...anybody else concerned by those graphs? Looks like there were a bunch of squiggles in April, and a steady decline ever since. Just to be safe I'll download a few torrents today.
- Sil369, on 07/06/2008, -5/+23I would think TPB would kick everyone else's ass. Why's mininva on top?
- unusualbob, on 07/06/2008, -1/+12it was one of the main sites built into utorrent search function. The idiot factor is apparent here.
- sumeetg, on 07/06/2008, -1/+12Its because most television shows had their finales around then
- Weekapaugr00ve, on 07/07/2008, -1/+10TPB has an awful search and is cluttered with ads. Sure the guys at TPB are badass and reading their complaint responses is priceless, but as an actual tracker mininova is much cleaner imo.
- pedo, on 07/07/2008, -0/+6wow, a private tracker snob?
- chaos7, on 07/07/2008, -0/+6remember the first rule of fight club
- Cerealkillr, on 07/06/2008, -3/+9These may be the most visitors, but they don't take into account the quality of the sites.
Demoniod in my opinion is much better than any of those sites. - bronyraur777, on 07/06/2008, -0/+4Shhhhh!
- tokage, on 07/06/2008, -0/+4If you can get into it, I'm sure it is.
- merdiesel, on 07/07/2008, -0/+3Complete headline:
Top Torrent Sites Ranked by Google... that infested with leechers who are allergic to seeding. - stupidStan, on 07/06/2008, -0/+3demonoid is by far the best torrent site out there... except for pr0n that is
- estvir, on 07/06/2008, -0/+3Demonoid is one of the easiest to get into.
- JoeB4ever, on 07/06/2008, -0/+3Holy Crap!!!
When did Demonoid come back up? - Khanvalescent, on 07/06/2008, -2/+5I like mininova the best, but btjunkie is great for finding more obscure torrents.
- Spectro87, on 07/07/2008, -0/+3That's why I like Demonoid.
- ubrikkean, on 07/07/2008, -0/+3I guess it's worth noting that this is based on site activity, not tracker activity.
- Rotzooi, on 07/06/2008, -0/+3It's stupid to compare trackers to index-sites. Losing a huge, well-sorted site like Mininova would be a loss, but no swarms would be lost. If on the other hand, TPB would go down, over a million torrent swarms would die out. Especially since so many people are now disabling DHT for some reason.
- jester55, on 07/06/2008, -0/+2http://trends.google.com/websites?q=mininova.org%2 ...
fixed with demonoid^ - rkiga, on 07/06/2008, -0/+2anyone know why scrapetorrent is now flagged as a "reported attack site" by firefox? anything to worry about? or anyone know a good metasearch alternative?
- xaxxon, on 07/07/2008, -0/+2don't forget about the second rule, either.
- RomanThommassen, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1yes but you need a registred account for that :(
- juicebag, on 07/06/2008, -9/+10Public trackers are a joke.
- dstz, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1"I would think TPB would kick everyone else's ass. "
For which precise reason would you think that?
"Why's mininva on top?"
They have more rare torrents than TPB. I'm sometime looking for things that are a little older (including books) and while they both have unique result, mininova has some advantage in torrent indexing for my use at least.
Also, I'm not sure that TPB has torrent details like mininova does? because it's really helpful. - fishbert, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1Safe Browsing

- grizzlybrice, on 07/06/2008, -0/+1SCORE BY DANNY ELFMAN? WHAT???
thanks mininova... - noof, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1Its' funny how sf.se is third on the "Also visited" for Sweden (sf.se is the place where you buy tickets for the cinema). I wonder if those greedy pirates actually go to the cinema?
- inactive, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1I always thought MiniNova was the most popular one, but it always seems like Pirate Bay get the title.
- bg86, on 07/30/2008, -0/+0It's just a false alarm
- Weekapaugr00ve, on 07/07/2008, -2/+2well OiNK was amazing, but besides that I think mininova is the best.
- bg86, on 07/30/2008, -0/+0It's a false alarm.
- Yatti420, on 07/06/2008, -2/+1Agreed!...
- knightrd, on 07/07/2008, -1/+0Thepiratebay doesn't get the credit it deserves, but the creators aren't complaining about it. They know the value of TPB.
- Jennica, on 07/06/2008, -2/+1Torrentz.com
torrent-finder.com - brett1337, on 07/06/2008, -2/+1possible, but its still a scary thought.
- smydimashark, on 07/07/2008, -1/+0very good point.
also, ***** yeah noid.
+1 - xaxxon, on 07/07/2008, -2/+1oink wasn't exactly a public tracker.
- L4WL3RS34L, on 07/06/2008, -3/+1Demonoid is practically a public tracker. Once I finish downloading a torrent, I'll have already uploaded twice of that for the same torrent. And it's easy so to get in to.
These are good private trackers:

- shondell, on 07/06/2008, -2/+0Yea it sucks that they don't allow any "newcomers" into their site.
- amanilaenvelope, on 07/05/2008, -9/+2Its all about the Pirate Bay, chicka-chicka-yeah-yeah.
What? - Strikersgun, on 07/06/2008, -7/+0"Overall it seems that BitTorrent sites are still growing, especially The Pirate Bay, since they nearly doubled their traffic in a -yeah-"
It's in the last paragraph I just wanted to point out It's mistake.
Also I don't know a single person who uses PirateBay yet I hear its the most popular I say Mininova is hands down. - inactive, on 07/06/2008, -9/+1This is a really interesting artic... OMG HELLBOY II LOOKS FRICKING AWESOME!
- inactive, on 07/05/2008, -13/+1Torrentz.com just index various torrents available on the net, they have no risk unlike others.

- virtualonliner, on 07/05/2008, -14/+1Great. Now **AA can look at them closely, if they already haven't.
