- jayssite, on 10/29/2007, -3/+52Anyone else more impressed by the embedded ZOHO spreadsheet? That's mad cool...
- inactive, on 10/24/2007, -0/+26Would be nice if it listed a link to the blogs
- WiseWeasel, on 10/22/2007, -2/+11@BlackSheep720: The submitter is being called out for sending shouts to random people to get his story dugg onto the front page. Sending shouts promoting your story to non-mutual friends is spamming, and it's something we can stop by calling attention to it, and burying stories of people who use this shady tactic.
- themilk, on 10/15/2007, -0/+7TUAW is on the list twice.
- iofthestorm, on 10/16/2007, -1/+7Funny that you can't do that with Google's own spreadsheet thing.
Edit: Well, in theory you could put the public URL of a spreadsheet in an iframe, but iframes are icky. - BlackSheep720, on 10/15/2007, -2/+8im actually not surprised. your website looks like a piece of *****.
spamming is for n00bs - windmillninja, on 10/15/2007, -0/+4What? Where's Perez Hilton?
/sarcasm - udfalkso, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4Hellooooooo. The feeds in the Google Reader starter bundles have highly inflated counts. Every new user to GR adds a few of them. These rankings are not worthwhile.
- antigravit42, on 06/14/2009, -0/+3 < table > ?
- emiles, on 10/15/2007, -0/+3Dude, what do you expect? Even blogs are really part of the MSM... [/likewise]
- HigherLogic, on 10/16/2007, -2/+5No, because it doesn't work that great in Opera. I would rather have had an ordered list and links to the blogs instead of a lame spreadsheet that was about as tall as Digg's comment box.
- Davede70, on 10/15/2007, -4/+7What about Ron Paul? Google is trying to keep him out because they are a part of the conspiracy that did 9/11 and faked the moon landing. Stop keeping the man down [/sarcasm]
- oesj, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2zoho sheet is apparently still in beta - so you can cut it a little slack.
you make a good point though - this was clearly an inappropriate use of the tool. - slugicide, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2Holy Jesus ***** Mary--Uncov? I mean, sure I subscribe, but, you know... I guess there's a lesson here: snark is like coke--it's best when it's uncut and there's lots of it.
- Kitsune818, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2People actually use google reader? I find it far more inconvenient than just visiting the sites.
- JohSteLon, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2While searching google reader itself to verify these, it was interesting to note there are feeds out there with substantially more subscribers than those feeds listed here. While it is true that those were news sites, and not blogs, I could not find a BBC blog in the top page of search results for 'BBC blog,' and some how start to doubt the authenticity of this list. In addition, The top google reader feed only had around 105k subscribers, not the 192k touted by this site.

- asdfuiop, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2Where's The Superficial?
/nosarcasm - toprank, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2Mashable calls BS on the Google Reader numbers: http://tinyurl.com/yuj82l But I suppose that's the consensus anyway.
- WiseWeasel, on 10/22/2007, -2/+3It's better than having the countless crap stories these spammers are pushing onto the front page. I'd rather take a proactive approach and do something to discourage shout spam in the first place.
- bitspace, on 10/22/2007, -5/+6I'm getting really ***** tired of WiseWeasel sharing his abject mental handicap with the rest of the Digg world. Every time his wide-open shoutbox gets spammed, he bitches to the world here, yet he refuses to configure his shoutbox to be for friends only. I'm going to add this ***** to my own ignore list since it's getting really old... I just wish he'd learn to use the site too. Lame self-righteous petulant crybaby *****.
- WiseWeasel, on 10/15/2007, -3/+3My solution is pretty effective, actually. I don't want to have to close off my shouts from the public just because of a few shout spammers that I know how to fight more directly. If a few more people would join the effort, we could eliminate shout spam entirely in fairly short order, without have to wait for the Digg staff to grace us with a better solution...
- Assezdefromage, on 10/15/2007, -1/+1It didn't make me laugh. It kind of depressed me...
- Modulo, on 10/15/2007, -3/+3I have a better solution, and it involves your stupid ass getting banned from Digg.
- captinherb, on 10/22/2007, -2/+2Jesus, bitter much. Just block him and you won't have to see his comments anymore, talk about "bitching to the whole world".
- cyberflas, on 10/15/2007, -1/+1DIK4
- BlackSheep720, on 10/15/2007, -4/+3profile > settings > privacy: shouts & photos > allow shouts to me from... > my friends
problem solved. and btw, burying isn't the best way to solve a problem. you should report these people to the digg staff. - bitspace, on 10/15/2007, -2/+1I'd be more impressed if they embedded a google apps spreadsheet. Not sure that's directly doable, though, without some html/css hackage.
- inactive, on 10/15/2007, -2/+1I thought it was actually funny. I agree the design leaves something to be desired, but it had some funny stuff on it. Take a look at the Guide to College Mascots.
- bjterry, on 10/15/2007, -6/+5I always appreciate a site (Techcruch) which has scripts running from 11 different domains at once. It's like some sort of joke.
- takkie, on 10/15/2007, -2/+1Why is it created table by Google Spreadsheets?
- BlackSheep720, on 10/15/2007, -5/+3why are you spamming if your goal is to stop spam?
- WiseWeasel, on 10/15/2007, -3/+1@Modulo: Aw, did I upset your enjoyment of this fabulous story? I will continue this fight, and actually do something about the spammer problem instead of being a good little sheep and letting them continue to ruin Digg, so do your worst...
- inactive, on 10/15/2007, -10/+2Nice.
- WiseWeasel, on 10/15/2007, -18/+5Don't spam my shouts please, jasonnazar. Buried!
