- matt0r, on 11/29/2007, -5/+337this is just every female who works for g4..
- inactive, on 11/29/2007, -11/+264Buried as inaccurate due to lack of Jade Raymond.
- DropTheOxygen, on 11/29/2007, -6/+239Being a female host on G4 doesn't make you a "Woman in tech."
Being a female host on TechTV might have, but not G4. - dolemite5005, on 11/29/2007, -2/+156Looks like a list of actresses, not techies.
- BillyK, on 11/29/2007, -0/+132I hope this isn't too OT, but let me just throw it out there - askmen.com is, always has been, and forever shall be total fail.
- theblueprint, on 11/29/2007, -20/+110If Morgan Webb is a man, then that's a "guy I would go gay for."
- degron, on 11/29/2007, -14/+99Kristan Holt should have been higher on the list.
- totorototoro, on 11/29/2007, -4/+82I second the inexcusable omission of Jade Raymond.
And Amanda Congdon? Her 15 minutes are over. - evarlast, on 11/29/2007, -3/+77over 1/2 of these are not what i would consider "in tech"
Amber, Morgan, Veronica, and Amanda are the only ones who qualify for the list.
HOSTING A TV SHOW DOES NOT QUALIFY YOU AS BEING "IN TECH".
Anyone can read a teleprompter.
If I play fantasy football, does that make me "in the NFL" NO! - rhinst, on 11/29/2007, -0/+69Licking a PSP makes you a techie?
- accessviolation, on 11/29/2007, -1/+60In Soviet Russia, he did what you saw there.
- Lynxplus, on 11/29/2007, -14/+71How does Morgan Webb beat out Olivia Munn? That's ridiculous...
- huertanix, on 11/29/2007, -0/+57Buried for using G4 appearances as a qualification.
- danielrh9, on 11/29/2007, -3/+58What a stupid list. Every one of these women are only "geeky" because they are paid to be so based on the fact that they are hot.
If you want a good example of some hot woman who are also true tech geeks, try Amber MacArthur or Jessica Corbin

http://cache.g4tv.com/images/ttv/graphics/thescree ... - markperia, on 11/29/2007, -1/+50She should be on top...
...heheh... - shockwavedave, on 11/29/2007, -0/+40Veronica, Cali, Amber - Absolutely. But since when should G4 personalities be considered associated with tech. And where is Natali Del Conti?
- minorthreat, on 11/29/2007, -3/+43I don't really consider an audio person for CNET, a blogger, a host for an TV show, a psp models, tech jobs. I bet everyone of them would ***** theirself if they were asked to write a program that will add two integers. I would absolutely love to see the 10 hottest women in the real tech world jobs. I bet most of us would rather sleep with that fat lady off the drew carry show.
- Bukowsky, on 11/29/2007, -10/+50Who is this Kristen Holt chick? I have never heard of her, but she is GORGEOUS!
- vonskippy, on 11/29/2007, -2/+40Hardly "in tech" - more like they work PR for a tech company.
What a crappy list - they couldn't fish the hotties coming out of CM or MIT or STANFORD or UCB engineering groups? - Coffeedemon, on 11/29/2007, -1/+39Why not feature the '10 Smartest Women in Tech'?
- legendxx, on 11/29/2007, -5/+39layla kayleigh?
- Xmanglc, on 11/29/2007, -5/+38Sarah Lane from the screensavers is kinda cute.
- KanosWRX, on 11/29/2007, -0/+31Half aren't even in "Tech" they are in "TV" Actresses can pretend like they do anything they want. Doesn't mean they know anything about Tech related things.
- itzac, on 11/29/2007, -0/+29There's a pretty substantial difference between a hot geek girl (Sarah Lane, Amber Mac, Veronica Belmont) and a pretty face hired for a tech show (Olivia Munn, Kristin Holt, everyone else on the list.). Morgan Webb actually told me to man up and install lilo to the MBR when she was on TSS. She popped my linux install cherry... :)
- Mortikhi, on 11/29/2007, -0/+29They can read a teleprompter and have a cellphone.
yep, sure sounds tech to me. - Tyr7BE, on 11/29/2007, -3/+30What do you expect from askmen.com? I know a bazillion female blogger personality types who are hotter than everyone on the list and could hack circles around these bimbos, but they don't work in entertainment so askmen has never heard of them. Askmen is men's answer to cosmo. Inane ***** and airhead fluff.
- typicalusername, on 11/29/2007, -4/+30Adam!? Is that you?
- vlarnik, on 11/29/2007, -0/+26Worthless. The women are not even remotely technical (perhaps one exception).
- Tippx, on 11/29/2007, -19/+42Amber McArther? ive seen hotter women in the before section of jenny Craig. Veronica Belmont should be higher
- Drealoth, on 11/29/2007, -4/+27Anyone read the Hacker Manifesto? One of the paragraphs reads: "Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive me for."
It seems ironic that with geek culture becoming more and more mainstream, this philosophy that beautiful minds make beautiful people is being forgotten. Pop culture is lame.
/ugly and resentful.
//but smart ;) - sgtpppr, on 11/29/2007, -4/+27Bah, she's some American Idol chick who was also a cowboys cheerleader. She's about as 'tech' as the janitor at G4.
- PRlME, on 11/29/2007, -6/+28Morgan I love you(and your eyes)!
Don't pay attention to the morons on Digg. You can touch my joy stick anytime! - iashraf, on 11/29/2007, -8/+29Not on the list, because the list is only for attractive women.
- capiCrimm, on 11/29/2007, -0/+21b-b-but they have blogs!!!
/sarcasm - warkro, on 11/29/2007, -0/+20There is a next button. Amber is number 1.
- coyotejones, on 11/29/2007, -0/+20I'll go out on a limb and say that part of what makes Amber "the Whole Package" is her geekiness-to-[physical]attractiveness ratio: that's why she ends up on top, she's excellent in both points. She's technically apt and easy on the eyes. She may not be a super-model, but she'd be a lot more fun to be with overall.
- blatantninja, on 11/29/2007, -0/+19I guess writing a blog or podcast counts as tech, but I was expecting see some women who actually developed software or hardware, not just content.
- mateo60, on 11/29/2007, -1/+20I think Amber is pretty attractive, however, I'm not sure about being #1 on the list.
- SavageBlackCat, on 11/29/2007, -0/+18404 - Hotties not found
- samuelcotterall, on 11/29/2007, -0/+17I'm a Cali Lewis man myself. She is seems really fun.
- ScottMitchell, on 11/29/2007, -0/+17Because most of them are actresses (hosts on TV shows). I know tech means different things to different people. To me it means that they are a programmer, which I think would eliminate all of those ladies.
- TriZz, on 11/29/2007, -6/+23I can't see the list, blocked at work. If LaLa isn't on THIS list, then I'm gonna be pissed this Christmas.
...sorry, I got a little carried away with the rhyme. - PathDaemon, on 11/29/2007, -3/+19Agree for great justice.
I realize that people who don't work in entertainment are a lot harder to locate, but including a few hot sysadmins and developers would have just made the list so much more awesome. - Harbinger67, on 11/29/2007, -5/+21Because Olivia is just a huge tool and poser put up on the show to get ratings from sex-deprived nerds :|
- thuang513, on 11/29/2007, -6/+22Why would we want to see 10 ugly chicks?
- chrisreynolds, on 11/29/2007, -4/+19It's because she is cute and has a nice rack. You should really get in touch with your boner more often and not just touch it. Maybe it wouldn't be so mad all the time.
- PorcupineTree, on 11/29/2007, -0/+15It's probably not a good idea to drink copper.
- mancat, on 11/29/2007, -0/+15You're right. I'm going away for a weekend to get in touch with my boner.
- rz8472, on 11/29/2007, -1/+16What happened to Jade Raymond? She's probably smarter than several of them combined. From Wikipedia:
"Raymond graduated from McGill University with a Bachelors of Science in computer science and an uncompleted minor in Military science."
CS is a fairly hardcore science major that involves extensive math and logic skills and has close to a 50% dropout rate, at least where I go to.
It looks like many of the other persons on that list save Amber Macarthur graduated from journalism - while challenging in its own right - does not hold a candle to the difficulty of CS. - Cam_86, on 11/29/2007, -0/+14Yeah... She is a geek who just so happens to be attractive. MOST of the others got their start as bimbo's(munn, chobot, holt, etc...) didn't know *****-all about electronics until someone put them in front of a camera that was being watched by a bunch of nerds. Christ, chobot's literally based an entire career off 1 picture of her licking something. The other editors on IGN needed to have skills at... writing. They had to spend years in post-2endary school...
That's why Veronica, McArther and Jade Raymond(should have been in the list) are my top 3... They are real geeks, with real talents other then just looking hot and getting hand outs. -
