  • Zera, on 04/01/2008, -1/+13Yikes, LifeHacker caught recycling a list of April Fools pranks from the past. Net Send was disabled with XP SP2 four years ago, so unless you're around a bunch of old computers, that "prank" won't work at all.

    Remember, spammers had found a way to "net send" messages remotely from the web, and thus, MS disabled the feature by default: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839018
