Beats the hell out of any of the galleries I see in there. - cleverboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Awesome, I'm still trying to achieve CSS zen. Hopefully someday I'll make it to CSS nirvana... I'm hopeful.

I would scrap the page entirely and get away from a "clickless" interface. It makes more sense to give each fabric their own page to with a detailed description of each piece. More pages and more details will give you better results in search engines. Also you have a commerce site, the important part is to sell the product not do anything fancy on the site just for the sake of it and thats what it feels like here. Instead work on overall layout, search engine ranking, and usability. Then look back and see what can be improved upon.
edit: This got long in a hurry, feel free to digg down as I went a bit off topic here - blankfaze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lightbox JS has clunky choppy javascript that could really be smoothed out
until that happens i'll prefer simple clean css-based solutions - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3this is a very nice one I found today.
http://iamacamera.org/sandbox/photoshuffler/ - sketchydave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Which gallary or is it the article that's doing it? I hate IE too, but when most of the world uses it you had better make sure that your site works with it.
- samuel514, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2really worth it, bookmarked as well
- anarchistuk, on 08/11/2009, -0/+2Where's Lightbox?
- sketchydave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen lightbox before and I want to play around with it.
- Knight4, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3great site! good work
- sketchydave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Or you can provide both on your site. A simple and clean css gallary and a more interactive version using Lightbox. Plus Lightbox is licensed via Creative Commons so you are free to modify the code, improve it, and share it with others.
- Falldog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've never seen so many highly dug articles on the main page before.
- Falldog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I just use Gallery 2 myself.

Lightbox is more Javasript based..The CSS is only the secondary bit - dudinatrix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here's a CSS+JS one: build image galleries dynamically based on incrementing URLs...
