I'm a bit of an artist, so I'll give you my opinion.
if you don't put in highlights, it looks flat and drab. if you make the highlights white, the uber-contrast can be distracting, or it can make them look old: like they have grey hair. dark blue or red is often used because it seems more natural than green, yellow, etc. - 0crabby0, on 10/12/2007, -30/+127I don't like being called a Digger...
