- koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22It really is an honour to be in the Wall Street Journal. And not just that, in the weekend top story! I guess the removal of the top user list is irrelevant now. :-)
- Aidenag, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Gotta say its pretty crazy getting this type of attention, even after the amount weve had the last 6-9months. Congrads to everyone else who got mentioned.
- userChris, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Agreed. I look back on the days when people would yell "OMG NOT TECH NEWS" and in some ways, I liked it better back then.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Nope this is also in the newspaper!

First story in the pursuits section - fatmike, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9fyi - just picked up the print edition of the Wall Street Journal, and the photos are in it as well.... that was the one part i thought they might leave out for the web only version.
- tomboy501, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Congrats to all you guys!.... great publicity for digg and for some of the diggers that have put a lot of hard work into this site. Plus, we get to see what some of you look like (never pictured you with a beard, Mark...hehe)
- IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Congratulations everyone. He got in touch with me as well, but as I'm 16, he wanted parental permission, and I gave him my dad's work number, but he never called him (I guess they had enough material anyway already). I'm still grateful for the opportunity nonetheless.
I also did an interview with BusinessWeek maybe a month ago. Wondering if someone else got contacted or maybe the article was dropped? - fatmike, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8that was cool. Jamin is a really nice guy.
i assume this is a web only story. but if any of you all catch wind that this might be in print, i would like to know.
short of printing it on my own paper, of course... - Brajeshwar, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Hey Smaran, Congrats!
- tomboy501, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I don't think that businessweek article yesterday was bylined by the same reporter. Maybe it's still in the works? It was an article about the top users. The removal of the top users list here at digg recently probably threw her story all out of whack....Maybe she's re-writing...lol
- JStadtler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Congratulations Everyone!
I've only recently started using (read: lurking) Digg, but I must say, I am addicted! Keep up all the good work! Recognition like this is not to be taken lightly. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6congrats everyone
- sicc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Sucks that I didn't get back to the guy in time. By the time I got back with him, the spots had already been filled up. =
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Sometimes it all gos terribly wrong..
"Microwave your sponge" fiasco :D - IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3They ran that story on sites like Digg yesterday, I thought it was going to be in there, but it wasn't. When I try to get back to the interviewer, my emails bounces back. I checked the email headers and the email seemed legit. I wonder what's going on.
- koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I think Karim (supernova17) was contacted by Business Week too. Although, I haven't heard from them yet...
- mindstyle1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4congrats to Neil Patel for making it. Neil is my hero!
- scifimax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great article. Congrats to all featured in it.
- koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2In the New York Times? Are WSJ articles republished in the NYTimes?
- Aidenag, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2 A lot of us did the Businessweek interview as well(20+ i think), and nobody has heard back from the lady that did the interview.. Talked with her on the phone for like an hour too, was hoping to get quoted, but who knows now.
- curtissthompson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2John Jurgenson also did a podcast for the WSJ in case anyone missed it, that basically summed up the article he co-authored:

it isnt a small club of intrepid surfers anymore
its got Big... really Big - koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1@ fatmike: Oh wow... I knew it was going to be published in the print edition, but I too thought they'd leave out the profiles. Props to Jamin and John. I gotta get my hands on a copy.
- CosmicSprawl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This story sparked my growing interest in Digg.
- ziggystardust, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Very cool guys. Congrats to you all. WSJ is one of the top respected publications out there and to be cited is an honor, let alone pictured.
I think some of those photos are straight from the post office wall. sheesh. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Now let's wait for the front cover of Time Magazine with "DIGG" in big letters:D
...that's not gonna happen I know! - cathycore, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0here's the convo on reddit. they did some detective work! lol
http://reddit.com/info/13zu0/comments - Quix, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1What, no flag564??? Where's the justice? :P
- allen074, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1great job - that's awesome on the print story - something to frame!
if any of you power diggers would be interested in an interview on my site CenterNetworks - drop me a line - would love to do a deeper dive than what's on the WSJ article. We can keep the interview anonymous if you like.
http://www.centernetworks.com/feedback - madskjaer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Interesting read... Just went downstairs to eat lunch, and read it in the New York Times.
- steepdecline, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Awesome!!
Does this mean we can get laid now!?! - remo2012, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Digg helped make this guy the internet legend.
