- hyankov, on 05/28/2008, -0/+10If people stop twittering some of the not-so-important activities (pooping, picking up nose, etc) who nobody cares about anyway, that should reduce the load by nearly 95%. Err... wait a minute.
- Skunkhair, on 05/29/2008, -0/+4i tried to send a tweet about this story but the site was....... oh.
- possiblyneil, on 05/29/2008, -0/+4There is a reply button below peoples comments.

- oxdeltaxo, on 05/29/2008, -0/+2Honestly I don't see why people feel so strongly about twitter. If you don't like what others are tweeting then don't read their twitter page.
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1I like the graphics of downtime...So the world doesn't get to hear my sentence...I'll post it later.
- OpCzar, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1I have yet to try out twitter. Doesn't facebook already have its features in form of apps or something?
- Nekura20x6, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Twitter has shown amazing groupsourcing potential and I think it will go on to great things. Don't forget that these same guys also had tons of issues with Blogger.com when it first started, but it's still around and going strong.
- IanPR, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Reeeppllyy system!
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -1/+2I have quit using Twitter as I don't have time to find out if it's down anymore. What a worthless piece of ***** service. I was starting to like it but it has increased to a uselessness that it's just sad. With money / venture capital these should be issues that can be solved since that's what their business is about. If money is the issue they should launch within hours a premium pay service and tons of Twitter addicted nutjobs would pay for it and that problem would be solved within hours.
- wontstoptalking, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1Damn slackers!
- Stupidumb, on 05/29/2008, -1/+2Does anyone actually get anything useful from twitter?
- UKsHaDoW, on 05/29/2008, -1/+1We never said it was, but at least it has the traffic to actually be able to worry about these things. For which 99% of some dudes websites won't.
So it doesn't really matter what framework you use, unless you get the 1% chance you strike it lucky, which yours and majority of websites won't. - rexolio, on 05/29/2008, -2/+0I think it's fine to post various things if you have enough of a following, but seriously, I don't care if you're going to an anti-Bush rally or if you're constipated! I like to hear about interesting topics and articles and posts that I wouldn't know about on my own - that's why I follow people in the first place! I've been amazed by the number of folks who tweet from their cell phones all day long about things that I wouldn't even want to know! I can only imagine that has something to do with the congestion! I hope they get it fixed soon!
- outlanderusa, on 05/29/2008, -3/+1I agree with @hyankov and @rexolio. I don't care to hear about things like: I'm eating a banana, switched from paper to plastic, what a boring day, I can't stop going to the bathroom, I think I have an in-grown toe nail, and my personal favorite - this blister looks strange and smells funny. To each his own, I suppose.
- Jericon, on 05/29/2008, -4/+2The point of twitter is to be used for pointless thins... get over it.
- JeremiahOwyang, on 05/29/2008, -6/+2@hyankov funny comment. oh man
