- PARAPA, on 10/10/2007, -2/+47The forum is using vB.
Wonder if it's a legal version? ;) - Diderot, on 10/10/2007, -8/+35It's been open for a couple of hours and there is already ; Threads: 154, Posts: 2,939, Members: 761, Active Members: 754
Impressive! - Area51mafia, on 10/10/2007, -6/+31I wonder: is their vBulletin installation paid for or nullified?
- Ezprezo, on 10/10/2007, -4/+24Long live TPB!!! These forums should be very large with time :D
- expert01, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20It's actually been open since right before the announcement of the Suprnova rebirth
- Kelgann, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18Arrrr!
- shahrum, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9http://suprbay.org/
- Toco8804, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8isohunt sold out
- Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9I sense a lot of anger and rage burning in you.
- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I know it's the Pirate Bay and everything, but I still don't feel like registering with a site like it is ever a good idea.
- xtmno3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Good, take your spam elsewhere.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6When will you 'tards learn not to talk about that?
- Section8alpha, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Ok just so you know SB.org will be English mostly. Also the forums have been open for 3 days now it got leaked and is not in the mainstream media
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5bloodclot: isohunt now keeps a record of all their IPs and lets "copyright holders" delete copyrighted material without much verification.
enjoy your lawsuit.
also, demonoid has sucked for quite some time now. it's sad because it used to be a great site. - KibibyteBrain, on 10/10/2007, -2/+51. The piratebay has its place
2. Shut up. There is a reason some things might be possibly better, and telling people about them is probably part of what you can do to ruin the party. - TruthElixirX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2http://suprbay.org/clientscript/vbulletin_global.js
It doesn't say it is nulled (usually you can look at the global.js and it will say "NULLED BY BLAHBLAHBLAH" but TP could just be smarter than that. Also, they're running 3.6.5, when 3.6.8 is out. - cryptomystic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2don't know why you are being dugg down, mininova blows away PB.
- quack, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2vBulletin no longer puts your customer number into the JavaScript files, and putting NULLED in a public file was a big giveaway that it had been stolen so it's just not done any more.
- bairy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Active means "number of members who've visited in the last x days" where x is configurable and I think it defaults to 30 days. During the opening stages, the ratio will always be very high.
- borb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2.
- nolesfan247, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4And how about the folks over at Suprnova? That's pretty awesome that they're back on track again. They used to be the best, but the forums will never be as good as those ones used to be.
- expert01, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Why are you burying him? The forums will be english, and they have been open for 3 days. Is it because that last part made absolutely no sense?
- Stirk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Cool, a forum. I think I'll stick with Demonoid though. Thanks
- Codee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Now let us discuss these beautiful warez shall we.. Gotta' go the FEDS!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Long live TPB!!!
- Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4"And how about the folks over at Suprnova?"
http://www.suprnova.org/ :-) - tech42er, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1WTF? It's torrentfreak, not blogspam.
- sgb162, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Threads: 339, Posts: 5,566, Members: 2,432, Active Members: 2,426
You see what you did, Digg? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The old scriptmafia releases are clean of that ***** and even generated valid looking licence information in the right places.
TPB might be running them or a WST null release. - Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4That's really an unusually high ratio of active members vs members. I guess many are doing "woot here we go" posts, but still... Unless a member is automatically "active" if newly registered.
- necbone, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1EPIC WIN
- krazeguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1make way for the worlds largest spam fountain.
- expert01, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Agreed. I did some nulling for ScriptMafia and they do high quality stuff.
Actually, I didn't null so much as I de-branded it. - Drull, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1holy ***** nitpick
- Rupan, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Actually, more like Mininova ftw. I dont use torrents, moved onto Newsgroups. But, when I have to, or for TV Shows that tend to be on torrents before NGs I use Mininova. And for other like "Super Packs" of things I typically go to specialty trackers.
- devinjohnson2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It'd be funny if their vb installation was legit.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0uhoh...sounds like a good way to spy on ppl
- Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2After you learn to reply. ;-) Seriously, thanks for the correction, I knew they aren't directly associated, but thought TPB had a forum there for convenience. After all, the same gang founded both sites.
- Emperial, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1The Pirate bay is only three years old!!! Wow that is amazing, I thought they were older!!!
- gadlaw, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1What solusdotipse said. An article about a comment about a blog. marked as spam.
- fxu1989, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0ya .. it opened on august 2 .. >_
- wierdaaron, on 10/10/2007, -8/+6This shouldn't be very good. Has anybody checked out the comments on Pirate Bay trackers? It's either people speaking Dutch or asking how torrents work. On a torrent for the mac version of MS Office I saw somebody suggest using dmg2iso to make it install on a PC.
The people wishing to interact with that site are not the sharpest tools in the barn. People who know anything just want to get in, get their torrent files, and get out. - geekoid, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Nerfdude,
Did you donate when they asked? If not, what's your problem.
Have you used the site regularly? If not, go ***** yourself.
Do you actually know how many "nicer" sites are monitored or even co-managed by anti-piracy groups? If not, I hope you get caught seeding a Barbie movie. - Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -6/+3Wow, nice going with the clean forum skin there. Watch and learn, webmasters!
- dulymachine, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1suprnova was the shyte, I'm glad to be a part of what inspired it all
- plexo, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0lol newsgroups and torrents, all the same bollox, i mean newsgroups, is completely public, what are the uploaders thinking, and torrents, spread your ip to everyone yay!!!
***** "tards" as you call them ;) - plexo, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0all of torrents suck, including its users, it doesnt matter who logs ip's of what the fact is your ip is spread to everyone who is downloading the torrent
- LeeDoyle, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2Great news! Sad thing is i do not use torrents anymore as Newsgroups and so much faster. But maybe torrents will get better and ill move back.
- solusdotipse, on 10/10/2007, -7/+3Spam. No one cares about your blog.
