The Pirate Bay Introduces Music Discovery Feature
torrentfreak.com — The Pirate Bay just rolled out a new feature to their music section that makes it easy for users to find similar artists, more albums from the same artist and upcoming concerts. The data they are using comes from the popular music community website last.fm and is fully integrated into the website.

- Cymrubeats, on 11/30/2007, -1/+2It's a nice way to lessen some piracy. There's been times i wished i hadn't used up bandwidth on some stuff. So if i can hear it first, then i wouldn't bother downloading it (even if i liked it, i'd just go straight to buying the CD). The RIAA will hate it of course, as it means they lose the potential income from suing over loss making bands (loss in the sense that the band isn't a cash cow anymore, but suing people for downloading their music is.)

But you might want to disable OiNKPlus (for greasemonkey) for TPB, for that:
1. Find the monkey face in right and down corner.
2. Right click. Click "Manage User Scripts"
3. In the scripts menu, find OiNKPlus and select it.
4. In Included Pages, remove: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/* and http://83.140.176.146/tor/*

I like what the site has come to represent rather than the site itself.. but at the moment it seems that beggars cant be choosers.. Demonoid had its shortcomings but it was leaps ahead of TPB.

Oh yeah, enjoy your music that sounds like ***** for 99 cents a track. For full price you shouldn't have to go thru so much ***** bull ***** to legally buy music.
