- crazybugger, on 02/07/2008, -17/+230Anonymous, Please help the Pirate Bay after Scientology.
- vfreak2, on 02/07/2008, -7/+186Those PirateBay guys are hilarious! Fearless champions who are doing nothing illegal in Sweden!
- anjinash, on 02/07/2008, -2/+114You know, someday in the future our children and grandchildren will look back on these big "copyright wars" and scratch their heads. It's a ***** up system we have when there are murderers and pedophiles who face less harsh sentences than p2p file sharers. If aliens exist and monitor this world, they'll be baffled by our f'd up priorities.
- PizzaPops, on 02/07/2008, -1/+74I: Okay! Is there anything else that you want to say, that we might find valuable to know?
A: No! Yes… there… you can tell Roswall that he is a damn clown, he can … can stop abusing the judicial system!!!
I: You have said this before!
A: Yes. It is the third or fourth time i have said it!
Priceless! Long live TPB! YARRR!!! - inactive, on 02/07/2008, -3/+60Wow! That seems like real Jack Bauer style tactics there.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -5/+59Haha, I love Piratbyrån :)
To all swedes, stop voting moderates, Pirate Party in government in 2010 !!!! - RadiatedAnt, on 02/07/2008, -1/+49I think the last guy spilled too many beans. :S
- kashi, on 02/07/2008, -3/+49They should be lucky they aren't in the US. If they were giving answers like that, they all would be treated with taser.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -11/+54I wanna get stoned with them.
- Brownye, on 02/07/2008, -1/+44Not enough money being lost with the murderers and pedophiles, and money is about the only thing those people care about....
- Audacitor, on 02/07/2008, -1/+41They are the definition of fearlessness! It must be really scary doing nothing illegal in Sweden.
- nsanidy, on 02/07/2008, -0/+39I would hardly call that an "interrogation". It's not a party until someone gets hot coffee in their lap.
- LoopyChew, on 02/07/2008, -0/+39WHERE ARE THE TORRENTS? TELL ME OR I'LL BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF!
Dammit! Chloe, open up a socket. - say592, on 02/07/2008, -8/+46I love it.
The interrogators were so ignorant that they could have been guilty of murder and denied everything. - Asianwaste, on 02/07/2008, -3/+40One day they'll make movies about these guys. Oddly enough it'll probably be freely distributed on their site.
- Chieflongpipe, on 02/07/2008, -0/+31Is it just me or do you think TiAMO said too much? I mean he sure didn't keep his answers limited.
- TwoDeuces, on 02/07/2008, -1/+24Truely! I am salivating in anticipation of the episode of 24 where Jack does nothing but ask the terrorists questions.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -2/+24Perhaps but he practically had that detective eating out of his hand and supporting TPB.
- borez, on 02/07/2008, -2/+21Yet again, the stupid try to rule the planet, whilst the intelligent sit by and watch it happen
- sfacets, on 02/07/2008, -3/+21At least there was no waterboarding involved. Sweden - land of the free :)
- Archer007, on 02/07/2008, -4/+21But... the file sharers make rich people less rich! We can't have that.
- SierraAlpha, on 02/07/2008, -1/+18Not your personal army.
- Devilboy666, on 02/07/2008, -3/+20NO U
- grimward, on 02/07/2008, -2/+19Actually over in sweden, there's really nothing that can help you in an interrogation, they're simply out to get you to slip up and make an admission of guilt, which is what these guys tried to do, and failed doing as most of the replies were "no comment" or "I refuse to comment on that" ,and if they do bring the pirate bay to justice, I'm personally gonna turn in goggle for hotlinking to copyrighted materials too, because of the bay goes down, they'll have to shut down the rest of the internet too!

http://www.idg.se/2.1085/1.143367 - inactive, on 02/07/2008, -1/+16Very real, the guys are (except one of them) are political activists and, well, they know their *****.
Very obviously the police and the aktoratet (offence) or what you call it, do not. - hollowex, on 02/07/2008, -2/+16You first.
- strictnein, on 02/07/2008, -1/+13It's a well known interrogation technique to agree with the person you are interrogating and to pretend that you're on their side.
- fkr3, on 02/07/2008, -7/+18TorrentFreak's funnier.... questioning is the harshest interrogation technique Ernesto's heard of? In this day and age? It's a nice hypeful spin to put on an otherwise very boring story though, they were questioned, they denied they did anything wrong.
- protogenxl, on 02/07/2008, -1/+12I didnt expect the spanish inquisition
- thebrawl, on 02/07/2008, -2/+13He has a good point about Google. No one bothers them about links to copyrighted material. Funny how old people perceive the Internets.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -0/+10Who ever told you that, is your enemy!
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -3/+13you must realize that if a candidates loudest support comes from an annoying spammers they dont have much of a chance
- Philluminati, on 02/07/2008, -3/+12It's funny that the interrogator thinks that Google is vastly different from the pirate bay because the pirate bay allows the uploading of torrents where as google just link to the torrents. I personally think google is in the worst position....they actively BUILD the links themselves - which they know MUST be copyright infringement eventually. The whole Internet isn't creative commons. The pirate bay just accept unknown meta data files from users.
- cfulp, on 02/07/2008, -4/+13Funny. You call their antics juvenile, yet retort by calling us 12 year old virgins....ironic.
- goodkidyo, on 02/07/2008, -1/+10site bares a striking resemblance to the suicide girls site.
- falafelkiosken, on 02/07/2008, -1/+10I've paid my 5SEK and am a member :)
- TomFrost, on 02/07/2008, -0/+9To be honest, I'd be a bit more concerned if he called us 12 year old non-virgins. Because... damn.
- bubba9999, on 02/07/2008, -0/+9Are you trying to access it from the Middle East?
- cliffski, on 02/07/2008, -1/+9get a grip kiddie. if you equate not being able to freely steal music with terrorism, they you need to read some ***** history and develop some morals.
- adequateftw, on 02/07/2008, -0/+7At least it is really hard. I think i wasn't much older than 10 when I broke my first Swedish law.
- Famicom, on 02/07/2008, -8/+15Is this real or scripted?
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -2/+9Freedom is not even a contestant.
Go hang out on youtube or something. - adequateftw, on 02/07/2008, -1/+8In Sweden? Gee, here the Big brother look upon stoners as if they were serial-killing child molesters.
- m00kie, on 02/07/2008, -0/+7The Pirate Bay guys can be "funny" with the interrogators because their computers aren't filled with the copyrighted data, unlike the computers of the actual users.
- HonoredMule, on 02/07/2008, -0/+7No.
- ileftfark, on 02/07/2008, -1/+8Yes, because a group of hackers on steroids is exactly what will vindicate the PB in the eyes of the court system. Anon is very good at tearing ***** down and infecting with their special blend of fail and aids, but when you're trying to get yourself cleared in court, I'm not sure if I'd summon legion. Now, *after the court case*... that's a different story.
- snapcase, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6True, he really should have stuck to the standard "no comment" for a lot of those questions.
- norman619, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6Make a T-shirt? How about a ribbon? :-P Or one of those I heart bumper stickers....
- actorboy, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6No, he doesn't. Google links to everything. The Pirate Bay is built specifically to link to pirated content. They even put the word "pirate" in their name to make that abundantly clear. As an extreme metaphor: some playgrounds are frequented by pedophiles. That does not make those playground illegal. However, if a playground was built specifically to cater to pedophiles, it would be shut down because pedophilia is illegal.
The question the judge will answer is whether or not the Pirate Bay was built to facilitate illegal behavior and whether or not the facilitation of that behavior is illegal under Swedish law. If the answer to both is yes, The Pirate Bay will be shut down. -
