- saichele, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I actually thought the site's unavailability was the joke. that would have been pretty good.

- JAKL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That was just stupid
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+06 months ago when I still used d-link equipment I had moments like this all the time. All it would take is going into the "router room" and unplugging the router, and plugging it back in. Now I'm using Linksys, and the internet hasn't gone down in 6 months.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0pukstpr12: I used to have that same problem with my d-link router. Once a week or so, the internet would go down and I had to unplug the router. All I did was disable the Super-G mode and it has been all peachy ever since. With my ISP giving me 7mbps download, I can live with normal G's 54mbps speed.
- MattZed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0jokes, dont understand what was going on in the router room tho... but the dial-up sounds bring back too many memories.
- patrickweber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha, that's great. @ken52787: Yes, dlink is very much like that. I've had two routers of theirs die after 3-5 months. And yes, intermittant packet loss is very common.
- chrisipedia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's me. I can't stand when it goes down.
- cfazzini, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So, so true.
- oxigen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That was, simply, hilarious.
- estvir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^ well, it was made and shown to a private forum and wasn't exactly meant to be viewed by thousands upon thousands of people in a short amount of time.
this group has also done 1 or 2 other videos which are just as good. - KUKBAHLAM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you do Sysadmin work this hits very close to home. They left out the inevitable pitchforks that arise in a less educated user base… Heck, I gave admin rights to our office dog because she is the lowest maintenance/most trustworthy user. That’s not crazy is it????
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ken52787: I never thought that would have an impact...oh well, there has been a HUGE improvement in my signal strength too after switching to Linksys. On d-link i couldn't get a connection in some parts of a room right next to the router...but with linksys i have all or all except one bar of signal strength.
- rebrad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0too real for me.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"dumb. no digg"
Nobody asked you to digg it if you didn't like it now did they? ;) - jochex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.sixinchscrews.com/mirrors/NetDown.mov
Here's the link for the linux users that can't see the movie in the page. (link taken from the mirror page) - suicidal-kid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That was so great, it caused me to post a new topic in teh Newgrounds BBS.
- tastypastry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hahaha thats exactly how it feels for me. Except that its Comcast that always goes out not my router. And the horrid sound of dial up, I cant believe I lived on a dial up modem for so long. I swear I'll never go back!
- forgiste, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0more like set phasers to digg..
Digg Dugg...
I wonder how much lives are going for on eBay? I'm gonna go bid on one. - elev8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's 3 months old people, geez, get with the times! I thought digg users were supposed to be ahead of everyone else!
- SVPirate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's so true it's depressing! ;)
