mobilemag.com — I don't know if you've noticed, but just about every website out there that uses Google Adsense for monetization (Mobile Magazine included) has been bombarded with video ads from Telus Mobility.

  • mitchua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can't to find out how much Telus paid for all these. I've seen nothing but Telus ads all day! Also, did they buy in bulk or did they just attack the CPM.
  • MKcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, it's not just video. I'm getting text ads everywhere too. I'd imagine that Telus had to put in some rather hefty bids to get in on EVERYONE's page. Are the ads showing up on American computers too? I'd imagine that would be a waste and that Telus should just target Canadian IPs.

  • jamesplato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's not only video, it's picture ads to. This whole # switching thing is big news in Canada. We're getting some freedom to switch carriers. Good for Telus in using "modern" tactics....
