Which you can read here, with much more detail than TechCrunch: http://www.sifry.com/alerts/archives/000501.html - syafthegeek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4They change their web layout too which is cool by the way. I like though and it's just about time for Technorati to change it.
- alfalpha, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4The scrolling news ticket at the top is like Google Trends on steroids...with some rather disturbing searches.
- GleepGlop2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Technorati seems to redesign often and it never seems to be that good... now with annoyingly choppy green ticker at the top...
- asuraci, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Whut da fux?
- osarhan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Kinda startin to annoy me the way all these web 2.0 sites are looking similar!
- Adamacus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I didn't know Technorati was Irish....
- cyberfelon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Too many of these "Web 2.0" sites with their massive, unused tag clouds and random content selections make me feel like I'm using the 21st century version of a web portal. This looks like a perfect example of something we'll look back on and cringe.
- DigiDave, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Technorati is positioning itself less as a search tool and more as a news source. With the search function played down and the popular links to videos, blogs and music getting a bigger play on the site -- how much does this water down the effect Technorati traditionally played: helping people find new blogs?
just my two cents. more at my personal blog -- which I won't spam here.
Also -- the biggest los: I can't see blog rankings anymore. I still see their "authority" but no ranking. What's up with that? - reflex768, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Come now, it errors out faster than ever! That's improved user efficiency. :-)
- Saffa, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Am I the only one getting some ugly font issues on the new technorati site? I can barely read their text...
- slapthemonkey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The changes are subtle, isn't it?
- mikev, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1check the source, i see no < marquee> tag ;) it's js
- elenagreen12, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1it's ok
- IEatHamburgers, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1@alfalpha:
What's wrong with honor killing videos and rape?
/sarcasm - if you couldn't tell, go see a shrink - cyberfelon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1You sound like one of those people who starts their content beneath the logo. That's where the huge pointless gradient goes!
- onionizer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1lately I keep getting this: "Doh! The Technorati Monster escaped again. We're scouring the blogosphere attempting to find it. Back in a flash!", even with this new version... anyone else? (To be honest, for the sake of my genetical nerdness, I'd prefer a 503 error with all the details and server logs. )
- sicapitan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1it's ok, needs texture though, the tags are too big and there should be something other than pictures as features. perhaps some (blog) text?
Split the areas, and keep the ticker white - knithx, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Oh no, there is a marquee there. I thought they were forbidden.

- HUKI365, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Because they are down ATM, I guess. But in principle, I agree.
