- superphly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Passport was centralized... open ID is NOT. Therefore, if you have your password hacked, or your security is compromised, it's your own damn fault.. not Microsofts as it was with passport.

More seriously, all the big guys -- Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, MySpace, others -- are watching this rather closely. I'm making no bets, but it's not impossible that one of those guys will get involved rather soon.
