- euphemizeme, on 10/12/2007, -29/+844Why the ***** is this called "Surreal image on Google Maps" and then it links to a ***** blog? Here's a ***** idea, link to GOOGLE ***** MAPS when you say that's what it is.
The blog post added exactly no additional value or insight. It's not even written in English for *****.
Yeah, I thoroughly abused this comment and I enjoyed it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -17/+152Looks like this was digitally manipulated using the Adobe® Photoshop® Software package for non-commercial gain.
- melbourne28, on 10/12/2007, -14/+128It's been PHOTOSHOPPED! (©®™)
- Universal, on 10/12/2007, -6/+112It got scared of all of the big cars and climbed up a wall.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+83I am in ur trademarks stealing ur namez!
- proghead, on 10/12/2007, -21/+82heres an idea...instead of shouting, why don't we use our in-site voices and calmly provide a direct link?
Oll Korrect? - baraqiyal, on 10/12/2007, -10/+62You mean the image has been manipulated using Photoshop©®™ Elements©®™ image manipulation software.

"Comment Abuse" is officially replying to the first post in an article, with something completely unrelated to that post, in order to get your post read (and presumably dugg) before earlier posts made as direct replies to the article.
I don't know what this guy was doing. - Zinite, on 10/12/2007, -2/+44copy and pasting sarahsarah's comment from down below :

- HuronArg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31Its not only the car.. check the lines, marks and all signs
- FuriousGopher, on 10/12/2007, -4/+33Definitely agree with you, clockworkORANGE. I'm not even sure how it started, but it really serves no point
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+30Wow, time to stop drinking along with Diggnation.
- giid, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24english google maps link: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=52.069210,4.313998&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=22&ll=52.069211,4.313998&spn=0.001174,0.002618&t=k&om=1
How in the heck is this view so zoomed in? It would be nice if google let you do this normally, you can see way more detail. - unloud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22I don't think that word means what you think it means.
- heysuburbia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15I've seen this all over NYC and Philly for years:
http://marketallica.wordpress.com/2006/04/30/collection-of-alternative-mini-ads/ - wssharp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13where's the beef?
- herrshuster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13i'm not clicking any link with "pagina" in the url
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9hdtvdust, do you REALLY think that many Digg users will say this stupid ***** in public. We are joking. ONLINE. Many of use probably know better that to say "Im in ur house takin ur medz" to some random person of the street. If you hate us so much, LEAVE!
- underrun, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13What's weirder...a car that has been mounted on a wall so that it looks like someone parked it there or the fact that they used Mr. Bean's car to do it?
- Beshitehboss, on 10/12/2007, -9/+18LOL @realitybias
I wonder if Adobe® Photoshop® Software package for non-commercial use was purchased legally and used on a non franchised car.
That looks like the top of a building instead of the side though... :S - JJ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL
- jiub, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8"z=XX" refers to the zoom level in the URL
Using the slider this is the best level you can get (z=19):
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?f=q&hl=en&q=52.069210,4.313998&layer=&ie=UTF8&om=1&msa=10&z=19&ll=52.069214,4.313998&spn=0.001113,0.002497&t=k
if you replace the 19 with a 22 you can zoom in farther than it would normally let you. I don't know if 22 is the max for all regions but in this case it is.
sorry mikeyrb, beat me to it. - holyskeleton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6it got suspended and you should contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.
- mikeyrb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7All you have to do is modify the 'z=' parameter of the link. Just grab the link from the 'link to this page' url and modify z. I tried an area close to where I live and was able to add an extra zoom level, though most areas seem to not have it.
- MasteRR, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10It was GIMP'd. (If they don't want us to use Photoshop as a verb, so be it, we have alternatives)
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8It can't be. The perspective would be skewed from this angle. More than likely it's a car attached to a wall in order to get attention (and it did).
- apoc06, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6seriously, why would googlemaps need a mirror?
- nemrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Pagina rocks!!!! Why not click a link with it in the url?
Thanks for the pics SarahSarah! I love the fact that the lights work at night. Very cool. - dggeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4That ass is taking up two spaces!

"Página" means "page" in Spanish. Anyway, don't pretend you don't love porn. - LordMaul, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10The whole "enhanced using Adobe® Photoshop® software" scheme by Adobe® is deviously genius. By being so over-the-top with their demands, they managed to convince all of you that they were really not credible and weren't applicable to the average person - yet I'm sure they knew that most of you jackasses, thinking you were being clever, would go out of your way to PROPERLY use their trademark...thus fulfilling their desires to a greater extent than they ever could've hoped for had they tried being more realistic.
Sheep.
:) - jimbobaii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Those minis don't half stick to the road.
- fl00d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3English or it didn't happen...
- Rooster99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There is a possibility that its a car repair shop or something. Ive seen a few around my area that have mounted an old car as a sign. This one is a little strange because its mounted sideways but Ill bet its a mechanic or something like that.
- blahtastic, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6How about we go all comment Nazi on the "Photoshop©®™ Elements©®™" (see:next parent comment down) comments instead of on comment abuse? Those just started today and are already unfunny. At least these people are apologizing...
- markperia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2its read as pa-hee-na not pa-jai-na
- m1ss1ontomars, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The word he probably meant, butt, doesn't work here either, since the thing being made fun of here is not Google.
- nemrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There is an entire website featuring great places to go to and see in Google Maps/Google Earth. Very cool site and they have the API to just take you in Google Earth to these places with one mouse click.
Check out: http://googlesightseeing.com/
I suggest using Google Earth instead of Maps for the siteseeing. - enderiii, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2A BMW dealership by my place has a new Mini mounted to the wall. Did people with brains digg this?
