- kierucom, on 07/25/2008, -0/+2I know Verizon at least leases Sprints towers for areas which their towers have weak or no signals. So yes, this might have some effect with other cellphone carriers if TowerCo does not carry over their leasing agreements.
- Changa, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1It's industry news, that's like saying: "I don't use Yahoo so it dosn't effect me if Microsoft buys them... non-event".
- Pusod, on 07/25/2008, -1/+2And this will affect the AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile customers how? To us this is a non-event.
- CrucifiedEgo, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1This doesn't affect sprint customers directly, other than more overhead when something breaks, because now you're waiting on sprint to wait on TowerCo to get back to you.
Also, many Verizon customers roam on sprint and don't even realize it due to contracts between the two that make it an in-network partnership for both.
Obligitory "sprint sucks oh god why would you use them". I'm happy with my SERO plan.
