- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18Maybe because buckethead sucks
- Grimdotdotdot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10You digg things before you look at them?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Wow, it's REALLY fast!
It's cool that you don't ever have to leave the main page. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@ajaxdna
You are a complete tool. You obviously missed the part above that states its based off recently released open source code. - ArchieAndrews, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Just so you are aware, digg users tend to digg down comments with url spam in them.
- Abydos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://duggmirror.com/tech_news/Simply_Search_Every_Video_Site/
- dragongrrl, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10dude, i'm talking about videos on youtube.com. if youtube.com isn't in that list, then what the ***** is this site for, anyway?
- ajaxdna, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7this site looks like duplicate of http://www.searchvideo.com/ which is owned by AOL. I am not sure what's different here.
- tinhed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4The search is really fast. But as Mentioned earlier not very comprehensive
- kayakto, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5if you call that nice... for moment i thought i have CSS turned off
- ductions, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5i was expecting a really nice interface, this is ugly
- bigteebo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Youtube's search system is wacked. When you do a simple search, it goes by just about EVERY aspect of the video's data(tags, description, username, etc). Also, it feels the need to bring back Anime on every search you do. It also sorts by relevance instead of date added by default. I can see why, but for looking for new stuff, you have to switch over to recent date.
Youtube's search functions need a lot of shaping up. Not sure if there's a "tag search" function, but there should be. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2mage1129 is a typical DiggTard
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2it really is fast
- DiggChainey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow this search engine rocks.. good find..
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Guess you missed the word ALMOST in the sentence "search almost every possible video"
- ireadnews, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1some days ago i found http://vidslib.com Vidslib indexing millions of videos from youtube, metacafe, gofish, google video etc
- viruz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3so it's aol's search video with his adsense put all over it.... buried as spam
- Grimdotdotdot, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Some are missing from Google Video, too.
What's the point if it's not going to search all of them? - dognose, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Doesn't search porntube.com .. marked inaccurate.
Youtube and google video are so much nicer because you know you'll be able to watch the video. This brings in all kinds of crazy sites with prerolls, avi, java, window media, etc. - rabiddogma, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Yes as others have pointed out, there seems to be some major holes in their index. Lots of stuff isn't showing up in searches.
- crossers, on 07/22/2008, -0/+0oh grate. thanks.

I think Simply Google is fantastic for finding new tools or exploring
options you hadn't yet considered, but I wouldn't consider it to be
easier to use than the standard Google
home page for the average user. Simply Google is located on the Web at :
http://www.simplygooglefromonepage.blogspot.com - NinjaBoy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Its the exact same. Nice that its open source. But id like diffrent videos.
- aonic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I know its using the AOL searchvideo API, but its the same exact stuff (layout, presentation) just with a ton of ads
- ajaxdna, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5infact if you move the mouse over the videos, you can see that it's actually calling http://beta.searchvideo.com to get the data.
- damonlab, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2The site needs to be more real time. I searched for Penn Teller ***** and it listed a ton of google videos that have been pulled (taken down) by google.
- jccalhoun, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2video.yahoo.com also has a pretty nice search. it doesn't search gogle video and doesn't turn up many youtube hits but it does a good job of searching other sites where videos are posted such as tv networks and such.
- Imagine3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2The only problem is that if sites have advertising links on their pages like AdSense, this really screws them over. This also reminds me of ebaumsworld.com. Allowing the main sites to take the strain on the bandwidth but still presenting the material. If this site puts ads up, I would bet my life that sites like Youtube, google video and others will try to sue.
- kerbonade, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Searching for something I know is on several video sites turned up no results.
- aschwartz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1for porn, use magicteapot.com
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I don't like the pop-up. I like to load my pages in tabs.
- forrestg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0checkout http://www.pluOto.com all ajax enabled and nice user interface
- neoknight, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Yeah but the logo SUCKS!
- mage1129, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Undugg when found out how lame it is, youtube alone beats this.
- ArchieAndrews, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The results are not very comprehensive. I perform a couple of searches at youtube / google with some regularity to see if anything new has shown up and the same criteria doesn't list even a tenth of what I usually see at either of the sites individually.
- lumberjack01, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1this site sucks, returns all searchs with error page for me
- Skullpop, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Me too.. "Web 2.0" rang bells in my head telling me to expect gradients, drop shadows, glossy buttons and the lot.. :)
- jenmo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Slow, ugly, and not functional.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2pr0n???
- dragongrrl, on 10/12/2007, -8/+6
it doesn't find every video. i did a couple of simple searches and it missed things i *know* are out there.
and it's fUgly. i'm tired of web pages that employ AJAX being called "nice" or "beautiful" or (gawd forbid) "web 2.0" even if the design is crowded and hard to use. - bluenova, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1It forces you to open in a new window even if your browser settings are set to open new windows in a new tab. You can't even right-click > Open in new tab :(
- msafi, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2You're right. Some videos that are available on Google Video and YouTube aren't showing up on this site. Try this keyword to check: Fortuner
- skrehnbrink, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0http://www.truveo.com is another similar site and also part of AOL
- sonicspike, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0And the site's down.
- jameskmurphy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1This is great now I don't have to search all over the net to get my days worth of video fix.

http://youtuberaider.com - illt, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4not very up to date. i searched for buckethead videos, (sorted by newest first) and they're a few months out of date.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Totally lame.
You FAIL. F.
