- aojon, on 02/15/2008, -1/+11He's so pathetic.. To think, he blogged about it HIMSELF.. then has the nerve to try and send me a C&D blaming ME for what HE wrote?! What a fool!
- metafluence, on 02/15/2008, -0/+4Man, this is some interesting *****. Shoemoney has a very visible reputation and for him to not take criticism in stride really changes my respect for him. Notice I didn't say it was him being banned, but rather it was his immature response for someone not liking him. Get over it Shoe.
- lnstrm, on 02/15/2008, -1/+4One question comes to mind while reading that C&C order;
Are you smarter than a 5th grade lawyer?
No? Yeah. - Bambenson, on 02/15/2008, -0/+3Possibly one of the funniest C&D's I've ever read.
You brought it on yourself Shoe Money.
Jon just wrote what we all were thinking. - stalefries, on 02/16/2008, -0/+3Can anyone explain what this is all about? What industry is this? Etc.
- Beerhat, on 02/15/2008, -0/+2Some of the best drama I have seen in a while.
- sd2001, on 02/15/2008, -1/+3My favorite part of the C&D:
"Specifically, you have accused Mr. Schoemaker of "lying." You have stated as a fact that Yahoo! "banned" Mr. Schoemaker and ended their business relationship."
Yet, as another poster on WickedFire points out, here's the Shoemoney posts where he talks about getting banned from Yahoo for sending ***** traffic:
"Hi Jeremy,
We performed another quality audit of your YSM sign ups and we are still receiving the same results. 65% of your YSM sign ups are fraudulent which is 10x more than the average affiliate in our program (coming through PID xxxxxx and xxxxxxxx). Unfortunately, we are going to have to end the relationship. Our partnership through CJ will expire in 7 days. Keep in mind that we do not believe you are intentionally generating the fraudulent sign ups. However, we can’t continue with this partnership as we are losing money.
Give me a call if you’d like to discuss further: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Thanks,
Michelle"

Wow, Shoemoney...just...wow. And to think I even let you be my MySpace friend.
*tear* - clayton191, on 02/15/2008, -2/+4oh noes! Shoemoney is the famous "google check guy" for those who are SEO / SEM / AM retarded.
- topherdavis, on 02/21/2008, -0/+2He is from Nebraska?! I am from Nebraska :) As you now there are only 10 people in this state, so next time I see him I will ask him what the deal is :)
- myfreeforum, on 02/23/2008, -0/+2I'm pretty sure this is all about attention. This is marketing, after all....
- boonecafe, on 02/15/2008, -1/+2ha!
- webefools, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1what was that p.t. barnum quote? "all publicity is good publicity."
good or bad he's getting all the attention... i resisted the urge of checking out shoemoney's site. time to digg some more... - eliburford, on 02/16/2008, -0/+1As far as I know, ShoeMoney, some sort of internet advertising 'expert' is up against Jon from WickedFire, because Jon posted something 'slanderous' about Shoe being banned from Yahoo, which Shoe clearly states on his own blog ...
- neumadr, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1Hahaha. AWESOME.
I had no idea what he was Desisting until I looked around your forum and found the original thread. Y'all should link it in this Digg or in that thread this Digg is linked to so others can see what Shoe is crying about! - DeathfireD, on 02/16/2008, -2/+2the real question is, who the hell cares?
- Vhaeos, on 02/16/2008, -1/+1Some 102 people who dugg the story, obviously.
- firewiremedia, on 06/12/2008, -0/+0this is all very interesting.
- ejgarcia13, on 07/29/2008, -0/+0Just us mentioning his name negatively or positively is creating more press for him. In the online celebrity world, where we make money off traffic, all press is good press since it all results in creating a buzz and essentially traffic. He's already on the back end of his 15 minutes of fame and the recent surge of negative press is just breathing life back into his efforts. Best way to get back at shoe is to not link him, mention him in a post, or even spell his name right in the post.
- MikeThor, on 02/18/2008, -0/+0This is the marketing industry. What a damn pansy though.
