- Akkarin, on 01/08/2008, -4/+170It's sad to see people who release the copyrighted material to be shared complaining about other people sharing their releases... isn't sharing caring? Or is it a club members only now. These guys are just as bad as the RIAA/MPAA.
- implied, on 01/08/2008, -5/+147These "sceners" are a bunch of ***** snitches. Boo hoo you didn't give me enough attention! I'm telling the police on you
- badenglishihave, on 01/08/2008, -8/+86The "scene" today isn't what it used to be. So many groups now seem to enjoy the publicity when their releases get leaked on p2p. Without p2p, nobody except insiders would know or care about the scene.
I'd love to see more public release groups. Then you can have the advantage of direct distribution on p2p networks coupled with quality you can trust because of reputation. - Makaveli604, on 01/08/2008, -3/+74"I must say, it feels kinda cool to become an overnight celebrity.. I should be thanking the people in question, because this is what I needed to put me back into the game.
You see, I left FTN because of a few reasons, not just because of school. Sometimes people get tired of work, we move on and pursue new and exciting things. Well, looks like my excitement just came back to life.
After I left, many other torrent administrators and staff members contacted me. It was quite amazing to see the level of companionship and bonding made between many sites after such a small thing (at least in my eyes) had happened. It also brought a new perspective into my eyes, as personally it was quite an unexpected notion.
So, lets talk about a few things here.
First off, the info in the nfo you guys are all scurrying around about isn't entirely legit. I'd first like to point out that you have no proof that any of that info is even mine, or even real. Second off, to prove it.. Please give me a call on the phone number supplied. I'd love to chat with you all, but I don't think I'll be at the other end of that call. You shouldn't always believe what you see, and I'm sure most of you know I'm not dumb enough to just allow my life to be an open book.
Honestly, I feel a bit sorry for CELLKiLL because that NFO was embarrassing on their part, and I still don't even believe it was them. After seeing the thing on ersan, where he was hacked and abused.. And then seeing one about me where they supposidly just copied info from facebook? Oh come on.. How proud can you be for copy pasting info anyways. Making claims about not wanting me to be your computer administrator yet you cant even hack me? Anyone can use google, anyone can go to facebook and look up people. You only made yourself look stupid with that one.
It's not wise to kick a horse that's already down. I had left ftn far b4 this attack was made, and I can't say there's any honor in what they did. But as a treat to CELLKiLL, who "took down yet another admin (ehem, sysop? hello? at least get the rank correct..)" who was already gone?? LOL. Ladies, Gentleman, I'm back.
Guess your plan backfired on you CELLKiLL. By the way, I'm still very much in scene, come and find me. Oh, and if you wanna stop by my address (which is just a college street on campus lmao) please do. We can hang out or something, maybe laugh about how lame your desperate attempt was.
At this point, FTN has a new outlook on the torrent community. I ask all those torrent administrators who have been in contact with me, as well as any others to unite together and continue to work as a team. Please, don't pm me saying you're sorry about what happened, because no harm has come to me from this.
//Brandon
ps: At least two members of CELLKiLL sell ftp leech, I find that funny considering they talk about being secure.
Here's one member..

I'm not worried. Some of the scene torrent sites I visit are about equally concerned with security as the actual scene.. (***** ridiculous nazi's)
edit: Oh, this is from FTN, sorry. - Jenadae, on 01/08/2008, -0/+50The scene as well constructed as it is has turned into a bunch of 13 year old pussies with elitist complexes. I left it years ago and went to Bittorrent and i don't regret it one bit. The Scene isn't for everybody and unless your looking for a hobby where you sit in an IRC room all day and get hard off of transfer speeds it definitely isn't for you. The worst part is they are a huge force in what i dread calling internet terrorism but they hold A LOT of strong bot-nets in many different countries and can take down almost any website with a simple command. Theres not much you can do to stop them other then arrest them which would be an impossible feat as they're from everywhere in the world.
For those that have never seen the inner-working of "The scene" i wish someone would make a documentary about it. It's like a mafia made of PC warriors. It's really competitive and as vicious as something over a PC can get. If your interested feel free to ask me anything you may wonder about it. It's not what a lot of you think it is. - roguedragon, on 01/08/2008, -1/+45Wouldn't that be ironic that the one thing the MPAA, RIAA and the other leach media mafia groups couldn't do is done by the groups who most benefit from P2P. IE, kill it dead. Not that P2P will ever die, but I suspect that with their inside knowledge of P2P, they could very easily render some rather ugly damage to the whole system. And I know the media execs would cheer for joy at that.
- wukillabee, on 01/08/2008, -8/+48*continues leeching from sceners* and posting on p2p
bwhahahahhahaha - Audacitor, on 01/08/2008, -13/+52Well, the sceners are right about one thing, all this stuff leaking from the scene into P2P is damaging their security. As the sceners just demonstrated rather spectacularly, tracing someone and getting their details is not hard to do. The MAFIAA could no doubt track P2Pers with connections to the scene, and from there, into the scene itself. Which is bad, because the whole point of the scene is that it's secure.
I don't like their actions. I don't think they fully realize that they've just ruined someone's life. Besides, now the admins they just turned in are in prime position to turn them in right back (or at least severely compromise their positions).
However, it is quite evident the we, the P2Pers, need to respect the sceners, and their desire to remain secure. We need to stop funneling things from the scene, because that damages their security. Also, they can kick our ass. - Flashman, on 01/08/2008, -1/+36I think these guys should be scene and not heard.
- SomeImagination, on 01/08/2008, -1/+32Lame scener kiddies, wow they did a whois and found his identity which led to a couple of other scraps of info, big deal. What are they gonna do now? come to his house and fight him with plastic light sabres?!
- naonao, on 01/08/2008, -1/+32This is why I can't stand sceners, I understand they provide alot of the releases that we leech but deep down they are selfish. They only care about the status, whereas people like aXXo put movies on Bittorrent to provide all of us normal people with entertainment. Here's hoping another Operation Buccaneer is coming their way if this is how they are going to act.
- portis, on 01/08/2008, -4/+35You guys don't get it. They are only really pissing on those torrent sites that ask for a fee to be able to "participate" in the site. Selling warez is WRONG and selling access to WAREZ is just as bad.
- kakwakas, on 01/08/2008, -3/+33Wait... Sceners like those stupid kids you see walking around in girl pants with dyed black hair and some crappy band hoodie?
- Vash265, on 01/08/2008, -2/+31Wow, I feel out of touch. What the hell is a scener?
- IMADV8, on 01/08/2008, -0/+29I understand and sympathize with the whole security issue, but I find it just a bit hypocritical for them to be bitching about p2p stealing their releases. If the sceners don't respect the legitimate content owners enough not to steal from them, why should they in turn deserve that respect from anyone else?
- scabbers, on 01/08/2008, -2/+30Not to mention the quality of releases is ***** terrible. I just buy the damn games now.
And movies don't need cracking... I don't even know what they want credit for. - Mike89, on 01/08/2008, -0/+27Lol, inside knowledge? 'Scene' people are just arrogant pricks who think they're top ***** because they use all so elusive 'darknets' instead of that "piece of *****" BitTorrent. They don't have any inside knowledge about P2P, and they can't do *****.
- invinciblechunk, on 01/08/2008, -2/+26Uh... ***** the scene. Maybe it was cool in 1988, but times have changed. Technology has changed. You're no longer relevant. Any idiot with a Netflix account can be a movie ripping superstar. So just take your melodrama and get lost.
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -1/+25Snitches get stitches.
- MarkKezner, on 01/08/2008, -1/+251. Find "Scener" snitches
2. Leak their information
3. Laugh as they choke on their own medicine - sevenslashfour, on 01/08/2008, -1/+24Pretty much the same level of "loser," yes.
- Kwipper, on 01/08/2008, -2/+22Wait. Let me get this straight. The people who create the pirated software for distribution are trying to destroy one of the major channels of getting their distributons out on the net?
Why? That's ***** retarded. If they don't want their releases torrented THEN STOP MAKING RELEASES! Jesus ***** christ, is it really that ***** hard to understand? Look, if you post something good and worthwhile on the internet, expected it to be shared.. by any means necessary. - zerobackup, on 01/08/2008, -1/+21Respect where respect is due, but infighting solves nothing. This will do nothing but bring more heat onto filesharing in general, P2P or not. When webhosts will no longer put up torrent sites for fear of legal action or hacker attacks, the whole community will suffer.
- vonskippy, on 01/08/2008, -1/+20This just proves that teenagers shouldn't be allowed on the Internet.
I'm not kidding - stop it guys - or someones Mom is going to be getting a phone call. - norman619, on 01/08/2008, -1/+19Sceners? Man how gay does that sound? Do they vogue like the divas they are?
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -1/+19***** the sceners, I hope the read this and realize what ***** this really is. If you don't want your movies shared, then keep them to yourself. Nobody likes a snitch
- Buelldozer, on 01/08/2008, -0/+18Who says that they're not?
- DomZy, on 01/08/2008, -0/+18Everytime I see one of these NFO's I think the same thing:
If you want your precious scene releases to yourselves, then sort out YOUR security. Obviously the scene isn't as secure, or underground as it used to be. So stop moaning at the p2p'ers, and make the scene more secure if it means that much to you. - inactive, on 01/08/2008, -1/+17Sharing is Human nature, the sceners should know this since the whole point of the "Scene" is too share with their peers (who have access). If these groups do not want their releases on p2p networks than maybe they should seek a new hobby.
Obviously they hate leechers (and so does every p2p enthusiast) who take and don't give back, but hey thats just the way it is. - norman619, on 01/08/2008, -1/+16Attention whores.
- sevenslashfour, on 01/08/2008, -0/+14"Logic" and "e-cool" never, ever work well together :(
- invinciblechunk, on 01/08/2008, -0/+14Yes, because it takes a doctorate in sceneology to rip a movie. Oh wait, no, I can just go to Doom9 and learn it. Unless by "quality" you're referring to bugs and intros and crap.
- norman619, on 01/08/2008, -0/+14That is called pirating and actually IS a crime. Getting busted selling access to or actual warez will land you in criminal court not civil court.
- Stalks, on 01/08/2008, -1/+154. ...
5. Profit? - norman619, on 01/08/2008, -1/+14Is it realy THAT important to you?
- stalefries, on 01/08/2008, -0/+13Did anyone else think of girls with short, straight hair and odd makeup when they read "sceners"?
- DiscoLando, on 01/08/2008, -1/+14Thieves' honor, I guess.
- bagelmaster, on 01/08/2008, -1/+13Regardless of his "punk bitch"ness, he still wasn't a shelfish crybaby prick.
- naonao, on 01/08/2008, -0/+12Sceners are people who release files like movies, games etc on private servers and networks. These files then slowly find their way to torrents sites, the limewire, eMule etc. Operation Buccaneer was a government operation which located and prosecuted many of these sceners. I shouldn't wish this on anyone but you would think they would know what it is like to have your life ruined.
- fartbuttes, on 01/08/2008, -0/+12You're absolutely right. These guys are just reactionary babies whose precious underground has become mainstream. Just like the RIAA they can keep taking things down all they want but it will just pop back up in another place. The word is out now, people are used to just downloading things. Trying to "go back to the way things were before" is just delusional. Not to mention the only thing that takes any skill at all to release are protected programs like Adobe software. The video/audio release groups could be replaced tomorrow by anyone with a little time and money on their hands.
- deadlikeoscar, on 01/08/2008, -0/+12Brandon never asked for a dime from anybody and was against pay-to-leech so what exactly is your point here?
- scabbers, on 01/08/2008, -0/+11The scene was never 'secure' - because it was cracked 8 bit home computer/pc games, swapped by people who didn't have delusions of grandeur.
- CoolWind, on 01/08/2008, -2/+13"His Torrent site steals thousands after thousands of releases from the scene, and then he has the nerve to go and say to other P2P’s STOP STEALING RELEASES FROM US?!??!? ILL BAN YO ASS!"
- Sneakydave, on 01/08/2008, -0/+11You couldnt be more wrong portis. Brandon is one of the people very much against P2L.
- FluffyWolf, on 01/08/2008, -1/+12It's not primarily about security, it's about money. Within the scene it is viewed as a common criminal act to earn money on pirated stuff, and therefore they will rat out people who make profit on piracy.
- ButterBuddha, on 01/08/2008, -5/+15***** The MPAA
- wafflesomd, on 01/08/2008, -0/+10They have about as much purpose as a ***** flavored lollipop.
- Barbarino, on 01/08/2008, -1/+11Are you kidding me? Some ass clown spends all day ripping simpsons episodes to torrent sites? What ever happen to the art of going out and banging chicks or hitting up an Asian rub and tug at 5am??? Kids these days!
- Stalks, on 01/08/2008, -1/+11I thought that was exactly what they didn't do .. make torrents. Isn't that was this is all about, they hate torrents?
- CasaMan, on 01/08/2008, -0/+8Aren't those sceners supposed to be the "cool kids"? They sound lamers to me..
