- cdawzrd, on 10/22/2008, -0/+7cruzer flash drives are the *****. I've always liked their form factors better than any other I've seen, since they always fit into a single USB space and never look bad (plus the "titanium" ones can live on a keychain in a pocket forever)
- zip000, on 10/22/2008, -0/+6Agreed. I bought two sansa refurbs from woot about a year ago. They certainly get a lot more use than my ipod. It just feels wrong abusing the ipod since it cost me $500...I know, I spent way too much...Whereas with the sansa, I spent like $15.
- Lucas123, on 10/22/2008, -3/+9Wow. How did this get on the front page of Digg? A real news story.
- Balanced, on 10/22/2008, -0/+5Holy gas station?
- Balanced, on 10/22/2008, -0/+5That's how bargaining works.
- divinediva, on 10/22/2008, -2/+6The real motivations behind Samsung’s offer.
- acegi, on 10/22/2008, -1/+5dortiis is right.
if you own a computer or electronics of any kind, chances are it has samsung RAM - dortiis, on 10/22/2008, -2/+5hope you don't own a LCD then... Cause it don't matter where it was assembled it was built in Samsung's factories.
- reichec, on 10/22/2008, -1/+3I have lost hope that my boss will stop calling it "Scandisk."
- Nephersir7, on 10/23/2008, -0/+2the 4gb clip has a screen, fm tuner, INCREDIBLE sound quality and is the same price and about the same size as a ipod shuffle. And youre not stuck with itunes..
- TheMachine1, on 10/22/2008, -1/+3Sandisk screwed me out of my mail in rebate! ***** Them!
- publiclurker, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1And it won't be any of the executives that screwed this pooch.
- identityxcrysis, on 10/22/2008, -2/+3Sandisk is one of my favorite electronics companies.
On the other hand, I never really like Samsung. So if Samsung buys them I'll be a pretty unhappy person. I hope they don't do it. - Technopundit, on 10/23/2008, -0/+1Smash his windshield.
- Technopundit, on 10/23/2008, -0/+1And THAT'S the reason Sandisk Sansa's are a better deal than iPods. Their loss -- Your gain.
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1check one of the tags in this story: lolcat
- twigboy, on 10/22/2008, -1/+2Sandisk, quality storage products. No failures over many years
Samsung, i think spinning turd in my PC will store data better than them. 2x 500gb Samsung HDDs replaced due to failures in about 9 months - inactive, on 10/22/2008, -1/+22GB Sansa Clip - smallest greatest gadget i've ever had. take that, Shuffle!
- Tyrghast, on 10/22/2008, -1/+1Someone is getting fired...
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -1/+1Why would it make you like them more? That seems rather foolish...
- dabura, on 10/22/2008, -2/+2Sandisk refused because they can get $10 Billion from the Fed ^^
- AxsToro, on 10/23/2008, -2/+1I hate Sansa players, but the Cruzer flash drives are amazing.
- fuckingusername, on 10/22/2008, -3/+1oh well I was gonna buy a snickers bar but when the gas station cleric told me it was a dollar I dropped my bid to
life goes on...... - lilhelper, on 10/22/2008, -4/+2Keep the american companies, In america...
thats what I say.. - Lephisto, on 10/22/2008, -4/+1Seems like the Yahoo bid.
Sandisk/Yahoo: Its too low damit!
Samsung/Microsoft: But we are paying more than your worth! - hamface, on 10/22/2008, -5/+1Ship this garbage company overseas already, for Christ's sake.
