- traphik, on 01/30/2008, -0/+25I got a my first big pay from Google today.... http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/1577/googpaywh2 ...
- inactive, on 01/29/2008, -2/+16Don't forget that this is mostly PPC stuff, which means a good percentage of that money goes back to paying off their AdWords, AdCenter, YSM, and so on, accounts. The big boys usually see a 100% ROI from PPC, some even more. So I'd just even that out to 50% profit.
Also, at this level, I doubt that they actually do 100% of the work: from research, landing pages, to whatever... They have people they outsource to, hire, and partner-up with. That also takes a good percentage of the earnings. And after THAT, they still have to pay taxes, lawyers, accountants, etc...
These 100k+ / month checks and accounts are not pure profit, from a one man team, to a one man team. You could also spend 1mil on AdWords and get back 500k. Thats a 50% loss, but the check you hold up to your face does not say that. - Haidoken, on 01/29/2008, -3/+11all that from banner ads on their websites? I need to brainstorm some websites.
- scheibs14, on 01/30/2008, -0/+7Thanks for the red arrows, I've never seen a check before so I had no clue where to look for the amount
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+5Buried as depressing.
- s0m31john, on 01/30/2008, -0/+5OVER NINE HUNDRED THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND?
- MasterThief117, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4How about a site where users can submit their own news articles which are then rated by other members of the community?
- Hayaemsay, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4It'll never work.
- traphik, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4If anyone comes up with an idea....
I will code it for free....
with like a 35% share of all profits...
seriously here. - inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Oh yea, we all know how their made their money: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/694645/how_i_made_25 ...
- davidave, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3don't be ridiculous
- paul7986, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Damn the irony of this Digg and those bloggers showing their payout just increases their traffic and future checks
- ieataquacrayons, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3Can someone digg up a how-to guide on this? Instructables maybe?
- statik99, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Damn, that beats me :-( Guess I'll stick to eating ramen noodles.
- UnterDenLinden, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1now?
- khunkwai, on 02/02/2008, -0/+1I wonder how much of this revenue was generated through "value add" marketing as ppposed to things like targeting merchants trademarks , Zango style domain targeting and the like.
- elect222, on 01/29/2008, -2/+3I wish one of those checks was mine.
- feedbuzzard, on 01/29/2008, -2/+3I want to cry...
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1yikes. i'm in the wrong field...
- fuzzmeister, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1If that doesn't motivate you to slap some ads on your site, I don't know what will.
- locatorjg1, on 02/02/2008, -0/+1inspiring. Thanks for putting this together
- Birdoftruth, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Guys it is not as easy as it seems, and the big boys (frank Kern, John Reese, Chris X, etc...) have been in this game a while and if you seriously don't understand stuff in and out you will put yourself in debt. When I first started I had a really decent PPC click through rate (adwords of course) but my ***** wasn't selling because the copy was so *****. Another thing to get you started is that you need to aim at long tail keywords. For instance if you are selling a stress relief product via clickbank, put your keywords as [how to relieve stress] not "stress". doing otherwise will bankrupt you and your ass will be put down faster than a 3 legged chihuahua poodle mix.
If you really want to get into this, make sure you enjoy it because theirs money in every field and all walks in life but the people who succeed are the ones who are most passionate about it. Good Luck - holygram, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Pics or it didn't....wait, nevermind.
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Humm what to put adwords on that people would actually go to, umm, torrent site! or, porn !
- MasterThief117, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1I bet the guy who runs this site will start hosting ads and you will see him in one of those pictures with a large check.
- dasdef, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1*sigh*
- Vhaeos, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Tons of affiliate links. Guess this guy is going for big checks, too. Oh well.
- SamIAm77, on 01/29/2008, -2/+2Some impressive numbers to aspire for :)
- sockpuppets, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1You sound credible.
Not. - sicc, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1I am amazing personally the sums BIG Companies will pay for Banners especially in this day and age. Still seems to be a good way to produce revenue.
Sicc - eTevin, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0Heh. I have a hunch that the guy that runs the site is one of screens featured ;)
- kensavage, on 01/29/2008, -2/+2if it was only that easy! nothing like the 90's huh?
http://www.kensavage.com/index.php/archives/how-to ... - inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0You want to make money online with PPC, affiliate programs, internet marketing?
Hard work, persistence, a good head on your shoulders, the ability to learn from your mistakes, and moving forwards is what's going to get you ahead. And not one of these affiliate linked to death sites, ebooks, or the latest keyword generating program.
Wake up, there is no free lunch here. These guys want you to believe lies. They want you to think they are a one man show making millions. In the end, they only want you to click affiliate links. - dangerlarson, on 01/30/2008, -1/+0Wonder how quickly digg will bury this one
- luemob, on 01/29/2008, -1/+0this is gonna fly!
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -1/+0If you go to any of the big PPC / "make money online" blogs that every single one of these guys have, you'll notice them pimping affiliate links like crazy on every single URL going out. Really does a number on their credibility. Don't like to leave money on the table? Right. Your credibility is only worth $500 / month when you "make" 100k-900k the real way.
Don't believe everything you see here. These guys are in the business of making people think that they can get rich very quickly by buying an ebook. The truth is very different. - bluebobbo, on 01/29/2008, -5/+3geez that's more money made on one website than average people make in 10 years.
- PlatypusBoy, on 01/29/2008, -4/+2lucky noob.
haha.. just kidding. Congrats, looks like hard works pay off! - kensavage, on 01/29/2008, -5/+2you idiot! I do much smaller arbitrage and if I don't make back 3-5 times my money back I tweak it until it bleeds green. Don't assume it's BS unless you know it yourself. I know one of these guys and I've seen his bank account balance. It would make you choke.

What is Digg?
