- allnone, on 07/23/2008, -8/+89He'll go on to bigger and better things. But even if he doesn't... He's still banging Veronica Belmont, so he's doing pretty damn good for himself.
- quomen, on 07/23/2008, -14/+52Thank goodness. He was the most un-objective blogger around. He hated anything labeled Microsoft and wasn't afraid to hide his Mac fanboyism. Hmm.. On a side note, I wonder if he's still poking that Veronica Belmont lady.
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -5/+43I hear he's going to form and train a band of elite ninjas to finally take down gizmodo.
- iPirate, on 07/23/2008, -0/+34That he was banging?
- natenovs, on 07/23/2008, -4/+32thank you! his posts drove me away from engadget. they were just painful.
- Sunscreen, on 07/23/2008, -5/+31He should do a Rev3 show :)
- borez, on 07/23/2008, -35/+58Who?
- CannedCorn, on 07/23/2008, -4/+19That veronica belmont was one sweeeet piece of ACCCCCEEEE!
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -1/+15At the risk of sounding crude, he's probably also going to spend more time plowing Veronica Belmont.
- nortago, on 07/23/2008, -1/+12I thought that was Kark Pilkington for a min...
- FuZi0nDET, on 07/23/2008, -1/+10Couldn't agree with you any more!
- DelMonte, on 07/23/2008, -1/+10Look everybody, if you digg down RyanBlack, a secret will be revealed!

Ryan Block is a Black User! (Whatever that means...) - CannedCorn, on 07/23/2008, -2/+10I hear he's going to be next apple ceo. Guy looks like johnny ive.
- dhughes, on 07/23/2008, -7/+15 It may sound odd but Engadget is one of the few websites that actually seem to write well, often witty but not sappy or tired clichés, I don't think I've ever seen a misspelled word or poor grammar. To me that shows attention to detail the people there must take pride in what they do, I hope that continues.
- inactive, on 07/23/2008, -9/+16Fanboys are *****, nuff said
- ThrowDirt, on 07/23/2008, -9/+16seconds later, Veronica Belmont steps down as Ryan Block-dater as he's no longer relevant.
- ButtSmudge, on 07/23/2008, -1/+8He should go work at macrumor.com, perfect site for him.
- jcollin3k, on 07/23/2008, -0/+6I met Ryan at the Tokyo Engadget Meetup last year, he's a nice guy, very approachable. He mingled with everyone at the meetup and gladly posed for photos.
He's dating Veronica Belmont? Can't believe that! I thought he might have been on the other team. - Dohko_Xar, on 07/23/2008, -5/+11I wish that was me :(
- mikewill7seven, on 07/23/2008, -1/+6Maybe he's gonna. Stop. Stare. Flirt!
- inactive, on 07/23/2008, -0/+5Yeah, this ***** used up all his luck on her already.
- inactive, on 07/23/2008, -1/+6I wouldn't say painful, but they created a type of discourse there that made reading engadget comments totally irrelevant.
- Gnar04, on 07/23/2008, -13/+17gtfo my internets
- freshyill, on 07/23/2008, -3/+7Remember when they went around CES turning off TVs while companies were doing demos? Oh, wait, that was Gizmodo.
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/23/2008, -0/+4If there were no editors there would be nothing to post to Digg.
- quomen, on 07/23/2008, -3/+7You haven't read enough ;)
- deathsythe, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3Why does everyone keep digging down comments wishing Ryan good luck?
- benologist, on 07/23/2008, -3/+6Probably something to do with ads, eyeballs and minimum effort getting them. Maybe a blog of some sort where you just skim your rss reader every hour and repost what others are writing?
- f3l1x, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3I hope he left Josh a little note to can Paul Miller. That guy is useless and a half.
- alchemist27, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3Ryan Block has a head like a ***** orange..?
- daskatzsocrates, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3no you don't.
- greenmountain, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3I agree. The good, original, creative writing grabbed me too.
It has to be a burnout course, writing interesting things about the torrent of junk.
They also have class, keep it clean.
It will be a challenge for Engadget to maintain the voice. - kinerry, on 07/23/2008, -6/+9Why gives a flying *****?
- inactive, on 07/23/2008, -3/+6These have got to be some of the worst comments I've ever read on Digg. Hearing the word 'fanboy' thrown around is about as frustrating as arguing with an evangelical Christian about evolution. Can't you guys just enjoy your operating system of choice and leave it the ***** alone?
I'm a long time Engadget reader who has seen their steady growth over the years and it's absolutely inspiring. Good luck to both of them on their own endeavors. - nunquam, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Oh well, I guess it's time to finally delete my Engadget podcast feed. I was holding out a glimmer of hope that himself and Peter might get back to them after the last few at CES. Their Podcasts were brilliant back in the day.
- 4getaboutit, on 07/23/2008, -2/+4Good luck, Ryan. Keep writing tech and keep banging Veronica.
- mathew_bug, on 07/23/2008, -3/+5You haven't seen that many girls, have you?
- brokoli, on 07/23/2008, -8/+10who cares.
- GliTCH82, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Except pics of cheerleader scandals.
- tomhutchinson, on 07/23/2008, -1/+2Sheesh, you people would give Kevin Rose a BJ if he asked, but don't know / care who Ryan Block is? He has contributed so much to the word of tech news, and I'm sure whatever he goes on to next will be just as professional and well done as Engadget has been. Let's all grow up and get over the 'OMG HE LIKES APPLE HES A TOTAL FANBOY LOL'.
- djHBRD, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Did you just try to bash yourself by replying to your own comment?
- zonk3r, on 07/23/2008, -5/+6Meh. I'm sure he's a great guy but I won't particularly miss his snarky remarks when reviewing things.
- rebotfc, on 07/23/2008, -2/+3rahmen
- RetepNamenots, on 07/23/2008, -1/+2Who fying flucks give?
- robbh66, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1"THIS JUST IN: editors no longer needed! (exhibit a: DIG)"
Wow. Thanks for proving the exact opposite of what you meant, genius. - gnash, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Wasn't a big fan of Rojas (ego = unwarranted) nor Block (ego of a lesser god). I think one of them "invented" unboxing which is deserving of some minimal level of loathing to be sure.
That put aside, Engadget is pretty cool and Block did a good job. Not sure if his leaving warrants a comment or a dig (esp 740+), but it seems I commented anyway. I am so weak. - donna1234, on 11/08/2008, -0/+1gadget publication nonpareil

- deathsythe, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Why would someone bury this comment?
GL Ryan and GL Engadget - robbh66, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1They're all useless. They're all parrots who just repeat what they see elsewhere.
