      The Revision3 Part of iTunes... just added recently. It should only be a matter of time before all the new podcasts are thrown up there.

      Also, since diggnation and infected have audio only versions, someone mistakenly labeled the video versions as "video only". Kind of misleading.

      Just thought I'd point those out in case Kevin or whoever reads this. Other than that, love the new site. And great job on the latest broken episode!

    • carniv0re, on 10/12/2007, -8/+10I'm going to express a likely unpopular opinion (get your digg down buttons ready), but looking at this I have to think... so what? I mean, TV but on the internet, what's really new about that? So you can pause and play it whenever you want, but you could do that with a Tivo. Oh, but it's so niche and indy, but how is that really any kind of revolution? (Don't get me wrong, I like the shows, I'm just thinking about what they could do to be more innovative.)

      To truly make it interesting, I think they have to involve the audience more. Diggnation already does this by extension, because it looks at the topics that people have chosen throughout the week. But the rest of the shows are really just niche shows, or lower budget versions of shows already out there.

      What would be interesting is if they took the kind of social networking elements of digg and then applied that to how they decide to produce the content. Say for CTRL ALT CHICKEN, they took the digg system, but instead of news stories, user submitted recipes. Then they made recipes that people submitted, either to great or disastrous results (funny and interesting either way). A similar theme could be applied to indigital, or even infected. The key would be to see how they react to it because we want them to. What do you think?

    • gdog05, on 10/12/2007, -7/+10The early release for those who donate was pretty lame. It didn't ever do me a bit of good, and they didn't email me about releases, early or otherwise. I tried to cancel the PayPal donation since they hadn't made anything but diggnation for years and they wouldn't email me back about that. I am a bit disgruntled. I love their stuff, and now that they have some new stuff coming out, I'm glad I'm donating, but I felt pretty ripped off there for several months.

Maybe I overreacted, but it seemed to be a total waste of money. I love helping out "webcasts", and Leo is very gracious to his supporters, mentioning them often. Hak 5 is also very appreciative. I heard nary a word from rev 3, no newsletter thanking their supporters or anything. Disappointed in the lack of recognition I guess. I donate for the cause, but a simple thank you goes a long ways with me.

I like Wil Wheaton on InDigital, but they should bring back Diane Mizota. Indigital and Diggnation are their best shows. The Broken #4 is now just tired old hacker *****. And what is with the pretending to be hip-hop, playing rap music that is backed by street gangs and pretending to have marijuana? I thought Kevin Rose grew up? Is this what the $1 million was for?

      Anyway, the new site is okay, but nothing spectacular.

    I hope this new setup works out. I love DiggNation and the other shows.

      You would think they would have had extra capacity for this. It's not like they don't know that anything cool that shows up here gets slammed. This used to happen on the Screen Savers too during the live show. They'd show a cool site...and then it would "mysteriously" go down. Ah, nice to see the reign of net terror continues. Well at least the VC investors can see people want what Rev3 has to offer. I hope they can get more capacity, I'm dying to enjoy the new shows. Network TV better start to worry....this is the future, and they are the past.

    Site just went down again when i tried to refresh.
