* You cannot digg a buried story
* You cannot undigg a buried story
* In your profile->history you don't see buried stories in "dugg" but you see them in "commented on" - iggee85, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Con:

"Digg version 3 adds many needed things and many things that will help further the growth of Digg. Basically, Slashdot is now in the dust."
Why is everyone so anxious for the demise of Slashdot? I read on both sites, and I tend to find much more useful information on Slashdot (especially when related to comments). Whether or not Digg supplants Slashdot permanently, I don't think the Slashdot community is going to lose sleep over it. If Slashdot was geared toward the same audience as Digg is (Digg seems to appeal to a much younger audience, and now is targetting non-tech related news), then I would say you're burying Slashdot, and until then celebrate.
Also, with the complete control (if that's what you call it) to the Digg community, you get this influx of pure garbage, which Slashdot has surreptitiously removed, so I don't have to go through 500 colleghumor video links to find a true news story. It's hard for me to call Digg a news portal when less than half the stuff on the front page is really considered "news." This "article" here isn't really news either. It's just a blog where someone spouts off his opinion about the new Digg.
I like Digg, I spend a fair amount of time viewing and reading this website, but I am tired of every article's comments digressing into a flame war, especially when one person's opinion is different than that of the majority. Does everyone have to hate Bush, play Nintendo, hate Slashdot and own an Apple computer to have a voice on this website? I hope not. - eryx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The left hand navigation leaves the top open for more Advertising!! Lets not pussy foot around this digg is generating more money from this site design. The question we have to ask is if the design furthers the philosophy they want digg to represent or is it a good mix of profitability and vision. Each time design is changed to derive more income I am weary of the motivation behind it.
with less information to keep track of ie...

- adamlazz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3One of the best reviews of digg v3 I've read today!
- nuXan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I agree, the left hand navigation is leaving me with the feeling of a different site now.
- GWoods, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yeah, I've been waiting for this. I agree on most except "loading/beta" because it's only temporary and should not be considered as a con.
- duxxyuk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't digg. I click the Digg link under the number of diggs and nothing happens.
I'm using firefox 2.
