- coalroom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Searching for context inside audio and video is something we've needed forever. Can't wait till this feature is live across the entire Pluggd directory.
- crunky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is such a great idea. Can't wait to try it.
- drewolanoff, on 06/10/2008, -0/+3you can also try it for yourself now at http://www.pluggd.com/demo
- Djerrid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Wow, that really works well. When I searched for the Mets it highlighted not only Mets but also York (as in New York) and Glavine, one of their starting pitchers.
- richardsfam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2very innovative approach to unlocking the value hidden inside podcasts
- xamox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yes, pluggd has been my podcast service since it's launch, one of the few podcast websites that has voting!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2***** awesome.. it actually works too!
- crunky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2damn, the demo is pretty good. makes existing search offerings look ..uh.. pretty lame.
- AA777, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The problem with traditional podcasts is that the key words or metadata doesn't give enough info for great search results. This is a very promising development. Kudos to Pluggd for getting ahead of the curve! (Full disclosure-- I know the Pluggd team up in Seattle. Nice work, guys!)
- PacoDG, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3The proper term is "Netcast" .. not Podcast.
- interiot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Can we get more podcast clients to support bittorrent instead? It would be really good to reduce the bandwidth costs for podcast authors, and to have bigger podcasts. I don't quite understand why bittorrent isn't used more for podcasts... bittorrent performs best when everyone wants a new file.... eg. a daily/weekly video is perfect for bittorrent.
- archerx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It's not easy to track stats with it, and for us stats are so important.... why? because it makes us feel good :)
http://www.cgcast.com is my podcast. Don't click it if you're not into Computer Graphics though. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Uh, What about Podzinger?
Podzinger as been around for quite a while now and does a better job. It also searches video.
