- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -12/+24Oh my god. Who the hell searches every inch of land on the planet in gooogle to find this *****. I mean . . . god damn, dude...!
- eqisow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Think about the volume of users for Google Maps... it's innevitable really.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13I wonder if they did that for planes or if they intended for it to be caught by satellites.
- matt.rubin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12aliens like to play pacman too yay

The tools for making crop circles :) - digga, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7to _ham_
Those aren't Pac-Men, or even crop circles in the mystical sense, they're the result of central pivot irrigation. - zezak, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Who found this, and how?
- goatrandy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Great! I wonder if this farmer knows 30,000 diggers are going to see his kick ass crop circle? I'd like to write and tell him. I bet he would be proud. :)
- Cykaos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4probably the person who made it.
- erkokite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5You can also find it here on google earth: 51°24'01.31" N 59°07'33" W
- RonDutt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3For those who cant see and need a better image:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&t=k&ll=51.40024,-0.985106&spn=0.000964,0.002173&t=k - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If someone makes an entire field into a Pac-Man game, complete with ghosts and cherries, THEN I'll digg it.
- digga, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Like I said the first time, that's the result of central pivot irrigation!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Nevermind that people might live near there and stumble upon this.
- DenZ88, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4HAHA! I love pacman
Only two pallets tho? - sw96, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Interesting find, I wonder what the poster was looking for when he found this.
- Dgen_X, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2this is the best "google maps found...." submissions ever
I'm getting sick of the "omg airplane on google maps!" submissions - cartwheels, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's awesome! Finally a crop circle with a sense of humor!
digg - Sonic_Molson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't know what the big deal is, why do people think that someone actually spends their days searching for this. Haven't you ever looked around your neighborhood with gmaps? Lots of people do, I do, I know others who look around their neighborhood as well. If everyone on digg.com searches a 1mile radius from where they live I bet there would be lots of neat stuff found, and you would cover quite a large percentage of land very quickly by utilizing hundreds/thousands of people.
- vertigoblue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1how is this stuff found?
- rm999, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I think you should relax. You could go as far as you want with it. I see so many links on fark or slashdot turn up on digg, and I NEVER see someone say "i found this on slashdot." With your reasoning the submitter should track down the guy who actually made the piece of art and give him credit.
Besides, no one cares where he got this from. It would only clutter up the headline to source information. Maybe a comment like " i found this on blah..." would be nice, but I think that's clutter too, and would probably be modded as such. - nhansen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad: You're telling me that this poster just "happened" to find this exact space on google maps just 4 days after it was ORIGINALLY posted on a very popular google maps site? Diggers should, and for the most part do, give credit where credit is due. Every respectable publication has fact checkers...I'm just chiming in to bring to others' attention the "coincidence" that made it to the front page.
- zengame, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg
But, unfortunately, the original pac-man do not have the eye. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Seriously? It's right in the middle of the pic...
- Gryfft, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Needs the ghosts. And more dots.
Dugg - Kyle1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh I see it now. That definitely isn't in the middle of the picture. More like far to the left and zoomed in.
- nhansen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2hmm, if this digg post were a paper, it'd be labeled plagiarism and given an F. This was posted on Googlesightseeing.com last week. No Proper credit to the proper source = NO DIGG. The authentic and deserving link http://googlesightseeing.com/2006/03/09/pac-man/
- diggnationdevon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's so awesome! Pac mans gotta be the best arcade game ever.
- yahoofrom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1no digg. a pacman not being followed by ghosts?
- albel65, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its probably someone who lives near the "pac-man" and just decided to post it just because it was there...
- Quickbreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Or if you wanted one even more zoomed in...
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&t=k&ll=51.40024,-0.985106&spn=0.000733,0.001829&t=k - detrate, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I blame the aliens
- falcon707, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is proof!!! Aliens exist! There is no human on Earth that could have developed such an elaborate design.
- DesolataX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Took them THAT long to recieve my satellite transmission of the Pac-man ROM I beamed out. Wow...
- teratoma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1there are many cropcircles caught by GoogleMaps.
http://enema.x51.org/x/06/03/1041.php - Braaaaaaaad, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The point of Digg is to bring news stories from many sources into one collective putting stories like-minded people find interesting. and its not a paper, its Digg.
- Tobey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1A nerdy farmer.
- Braaaaaaaad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You'll notice i didnt say he happened to find it, he could ahve seen it there, thats not the point. Digg is designed to bring news articles from all over the web together, if you dont let people link to other new articles then nothing can be on DIgg.
- Ashex, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Whenever I fly out from Pullman, WA I always see a snoopy in the fields.
- TKDWILSON, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What are you talking about they don't remove the people. The people are just too small to see for the most part.
Eric Wilson - neoform, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I was thinking the exact same thing..
- vandalet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Thanks, I was confused

- Kyle1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Yea I cant see it either.
