- eric1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It will never cease to amaze me why people who are already filthy rich will engage in illegal activities to secure even more wealth. Seriously, why? Most of these people that got caught have more than enough money to live on for the rest of their lives.
- themulf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It is the same mentality that drove them to be that rich in the first place.
- Doubledown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The infamous saying:
"Try telling the Rich not to get Richer..."
These people are good at one thing, and they will stop at nothing to get that extra bit.... - cozb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"the rich man will sell you the rope you will use to hang him"
- macewan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Have you read this months WIRED magazine?
- jsusanka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hope if they actually engaged in illegal activity they get more than just being able to resign - i.e jail time - fines. pay the people back you ripped.
- trosenbl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0There's a lot of people who make 6-figs a year, and are still in debt. No matter how much you earn, there's always someone who makes more than you, or something that's more expensive/exclusive to buy.
Annual income doesn't mean wealthy.
