For many years to come old men will tell tales and bards will sing songs about the amazing courage shown by Surferess and the grave sacrifice he made for the good of all the Internets. Stories will feature epic battles such as the day Surferess not only took on 3 armies of emos but also a full legion of pedophiles.. and than Tom, the master of MySpace himself, which was a battle which shook the Earth so that all it's pitiful inhabitants could feel this battle from every crevice and mother's basement.
I propose this day to be named in honour of Surferess! We shall have 1 minute of silence and if you are out in public and see an emo you must, no matter what, slap them and I don't care if your wife is in labour and you're taking to the hospital, that whore can wait.

- chrisfix, on 06/19/2008, -1/+16The problem with Myspace isn't all the 12 year old scene kids with obnoxious profiles. Those are easy to avoid. It's the ***** CAPTCHA every 2 minutes and insane amount of spam. It just doesn't make sense to use Myspace, unless you're a musician.

The streamlined and easier to navigate interface is more than welcome, but it's just Web 2.0-wannabe graphics on top of alarmingly cumbersome and buggy code.

- DanielEric, on 06/19/2008, -6/+14I still use MySpace because it seems like a legitimate communication device to me and in my region it is still favored over Facebook. I thought I was going to dislike the update because the new navigation would mess up my profile, but they kept the bar on top basically the same size (but much more useful) and even fancied it up so that it changes colors according to ones profile to cause minimal damage to profiles based on old standards.
