So far, not impressed by the new system. I want to see more about what I am interested in, not what others sorta-kinda-ish-like-me are interested in.

- irfanmp, on 07/02/2008, -0/+5I got it but since my digging is so sporadic and random, the recommendations I'm getting don't seem to be all too different from whats "Hot in All Topics". But, fortunately, you get access to a much larger range of content to look through instead of the usual limited amount. And you can see who are the "Diggers Like You" and who you already have in your network. Another major positive is that it doesn't seem that the submissions need to reach a certain amount of diggs before they reach your page. I see several recommendations which have only 2 diggs, thus giving a lot of previously unnoticed material notice. So yeah, long comment short, it probably will change the way people digg (at least in the Upcoming section).

- fryguy1013, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2Keep in mind that they might have similar interests, but because of the way the correlation factor works, they need to exactly match on which stories have been dugg, and not have dugg more stories for the correlation to be high. For instance if person a dugg stories 1, 2, 3, and 4, and person b dugg stories 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 23, 29, 41, 52 then their correlation factor is 40%, even though a exactly matched a subset of b, just wasn't as active.
